I highly recommend this hotel for your stay in Singapore. The friendliness and willingness of the staff to help is incredible. The location of the hotel is a major plus as it’s in what I would consider the upmarket hub of the city, comfortably within walking distance of malls, MRT’s, restaurants and 7 Elevens (eating on a budget lol). If you’re like me and not used to the Singaporean heat and humidity, then having the luxury of being in close proximity of the MRT and malls is a must. The rate is reasonable for Singapore, given how expensive Singapore is in general; but this is also somewhat balanced out by the size of the rooms. Although, if you’re touring, you just need a place to shower and sleep so this fit my needs perfectly. The rooms are very neat and tidy, with the usual amenities of bottled water, tea and coffee.

There are not many negatives to speak of but my only dislike was that the shower and toilet were not separated so the toilet would get wet while showering. I think this is a cultural preference though because I did experience this in Qatar and Malaysia as well. It wasn’t a real challenge because housekeeping would make up the room on request so everything was dry for use whenever needed.

Location was fantastic for visiting all of the sights of Singapore. Walking distance to many MRT stations (Bugis, City Hall, Esplanade & Promenade) and lots of bus routes. Close proximity to 24 hour food court, Raffles Hotel and shopping centres (Bugis Junction, Raffles City and Suntec City) & Sim Lim square. Hotel access was through the resturant to the lifts to rear, but bed was comfortable, room was sufficent size to sleep and shower.

- Air conditioner, while it worked well, was set at minimum of 21 degrees. Would have preferred a colder air con setting. - Hot water was only just above body temperature / lukewarm, so having a shower required 100% hot water and would not be hot enough for people who like hot showers.

I was a bit skeptical after booking the standard room (without windows) and reading some comments. I want to say that the hotel is in a fantastic, very central location next to many restaurants and bars. Also the staff were wonderful, they always greeted us politely and helped us with everything. All the ladies were super sweet and made our stay there very comfortable. The room was tiny as expected but it was well equipped (has a hair dryer - an iron -cups -coffee etc). I also read reviews saying there was was hot water, but in our case there was plenty, you just had to let It run a while before entering the shower. Overall would recommend staying there for a night or two if you have no issue with the room not having windows. Bed was also.very comfy.

The room was very small and the bathroom was basically part of the room. More specifically, the sink is right next to the bed and then the shower has a glass door which also included the toilet. We booked this room last minute for one night because we wanted to elongate our stay and were a bit skeptical about the room without windows but turned out not to be a problem after all.

I was so worried due to all the bad reviews I really adjust my expectations. To my surprise, the hotel exceeded my expectations. Yes, the room is small, but it's just at the right size. I mean, it's the size you'd get from a budget single room in Mowbray Court in the UK, any hotel in Tokyo, or any other places where property price is astronomical. Cleanliness of the room is just fine, I've seen far-far worse. At the time of my visit, my room doesn't have any black molds, perhaps they already cleaned it, which is good. I hope they clean it periodically since room with no window can easily attract black molds. They have warm water as well, you'll just have to pull it to the max and a little bit more to the left towards the hot indicator. Really enjoy my early morning shower. The staff at my check-in time is super nice and accommodating. The location is super perfect for my stay and is near to every single thing critical to my trip this time. There's a restaurant on the ground floor as well if you fancy it. Since I'm in a tight budget and the restaurant still hasn't open super early in the morning, I bought and ate my breakfast at the nearby 7-11. Anyway, this one is not what I like or what I don't like, but I just want to point out that the hotel is working with skeleton staff due to its category as a budget hotel, so you can sometimes find the front office staff who works very long hours asleep at the couch near his working station in the early morning (I usually went out for breakfast at around 5AM). I don't think it's fair to criticize them based on this as with other reviews I read.

It's Singapore so value wise it's SEA's bottom of the peck haha. Nothing they can do about, as I said, property price is astronomical. In the room where I stay, the bed is bolted to the wall, so every single thing that fell down to the side of the bed can be considered as being eaten alive by the bed. Lost my USB-C cable to that secret pit on the side of your bed, thankfully the staff is nice enough to lend me another to survive. Not exactly a minus point since SG is hot and humid, so I really appreciate how strong the AC is, but it seems like they employ centralized AC and the control inside your room isn't working? Tried changing it but somehow I don't feel any change in AC temperature. Once again, not a minus point, just want to point it out.

Genius, extremely well thought out use of a small space. Really comfortable bed, air conditioner that I could set to my liking. Wonderfully clean. Keith was welcoming, friendly and helpful. Very well run, yes the space is small but if you need some privacy, a clean room and a very comfy bed this is your ticket. Great value for money. Would highly recommend. Raffles Hotel is moments away, the area is perfect for visiting Singapore.

Nothing, I would recommend staying here. As an alternative to a group dorm hostel, when you just want your own space and bathroom this is genius.

Amazing location- we were able to walk to the children’s museum and raffles hotel and be close to many great shopping at eating spots.

Look, the room was as described- bunk beds, no window. But once inside, it really is quite squashy, the shower flows to the toilet (which is next to the bed), damp smell and mould on the ceiling of the bathroom. Man on check in was friendly enough, but no real customer service or hotel help

- Good location of the hotel - There was a washing machine and a fridge - There was an upper level inside the room with 1 bed (in addition to the double bed on the ground level), which I think is a creative way of separation

- There were not enough wardrobes, especially not for 3 persons, so we lived off from our suitcases - The A/C unit blown cold air directly to the person sleeping on the upper level bed, so we had to turn off A/C for the night - Some plates and cutlery would have been nice

The location is great! It's in the center of almost every notable places in Singapore and it's also close to the Bugis MRT station so it's not difficult for tourists like me to transfer from the airport to the hotel. It's also easy to check-in and check-out, the staff are nice, plus you can leave your luggage if it's not your check-in time yet but you already have some scheduled activities. We expected the small room so that wasn't a disappointment, this is good for travellers who would really just use the room to sleep-in and rest.

The restroom ventilation doesn't do much. It might smell a bit for a while when you poop. If you and your friend are highly uncomfortable with smell, it might be best to bring a room spray hehe.

Booked very last minute, at 9pm, after missing flight. Grab to hotel cost $20. Super quick check in. Room very small but had everything one needed! Bed a bit short for tall people as built in. I'm 1.70 and was just ok. No issues having no window as super dark, quite and cool! Great sleep.

Only issue was that although they were happy to keep luggage there for me, it was not locked away and reception not continuously manned so not super safe. I ended up walking 10 min to National Gallery who took it for free and open until early eve.

- location - kettle in the room - complimentary water - good wifi! - a lot of restaurants close by and good connection for buses and metro - i got a room upgrade which was great - the matrass is great. i slept so good - bathroom size was good - quiet - toothbrush complimentary

- i found a hair or 3 in the bathroom, probably from the cleaners. i was too tired to be bothered by it and the bed made up for it. the bedroom part was very clean though - the toilet seat was loose and needed maintenance - the rooms are small and just for me solo it was okay but if youre with 2 people it can be a bit cramped
