A beautiful building full of character and charm run by a very dedicated team of staff

We had lower terrace suite 116. Unfortunately our two night stay we had a gentlemen in the room next door who smoked his cigars morning, noon and night outside his room and held meetings on his computer so we couldn’t use our outside space due to the constant smell. So surprised as Everywhere in Singapore shows no smoking signs and sadly at the price of the hotel we didn’t expect this at raffles. We got unlucky with cigar man as you can apparently smoke outside your room at raffles. We think the hotel should rethink this and have designated areas away from bedrooms. It disappointed us as our terrace looking over the garden looked so beautiful and yet we couldn’t sit and use it.

Adore the decor, the bed and pillow, the cleanliness, the attention from staff. The room was enormous, I felt very spoilt, although in truth a smaller one would have been adequate and much easier to get around. I loved loved loved that staff never failed to remember us. I loved that they allowed us the use of facilities after we checked out as we had a 1.30am flight!

I would like to see more seating areas for lounging in between meals or drinks on lower floors. The lighting in the room was not adequate for seeing, particularly in foyer and bedroom- I believe due to the age of the hotel. I thought the iPad to turn on tv etc was a little OTT- remotes are much quicker to access, particularly when you’re in bed. I think the store could sell better quality items, for example some of the products in the room.

Everything, the present, the history, excellent throughout, faultless!

The room was particularly comfortable as was the bed. The bathroom outstanding. The treats we received on arrival and leaving were an unexpected and therefore a delightful touch. However everything else was put in the shade by the level of friendliness and helpfulness of the staff which was wonderful off the scale and would certainly encourage us to return at anytime

Not a great fan of self service breakfasts, particularly in delux hotels even though it would appear to have become almost the norm. However at least the hot parts were ordered and served and the eggs very well cooked. Not too impressed with the pork sausages and there could have been a greater range - kippers, poached egg on smoked haddock, etc

This was a treat to myself and my partner with some money that my late mother left me when she died. It was amazing and well worth the money. We were very spoilt and lived every minute of it. The complementary Gin sling and chocolates on arrival were a lively surprise. Breakfast was great - served in the beautiful Tiffin room. We ordered dinner in our room which was lovely and then visited the long bar for a drink. The staff at the swimming pool area were friendly and welcoming - they could not do enough for us! Our butler was very helpful and made us very welcome. What a beautiful building too. It has been my dream to stay a night at Raffles and it did not disappoint! Thank you so much for such an amazing experience x

We visit Raffles Hotel for honeymoon and Raffles gives us Fabulous experience for us In summary, we receive generous treatment and I just expected have a rest for us but my wife feel she just treated from Raffels hotel as a queen Everything was perfect, when we eat, take a walk, enjoy swimming, kindness hotel workers... so wonderful, all of services in raffles hotel firstly takes care is that they always listen and watch for customer's needs They pay carefully when we rest in hotel and we never forget Actually I want to give my wife special experience for our honeymoon but raffles gives us more than I expected Please, love and best wishes for a happy and prosperous for your hotel I'm really thank you for all of it

The internet service is sub-standard. The upload and download speeds were pedestrian at best. The internet kept dropping out. The default was always Raffles_Meetings, not Raffles. I don’t know who supplies your internet service, but they are ripping you off big time. It’s enough to discourage me from staying with you again. I find the Fullerton to be far superior re internet services.

Room: Loved the room, and the bath tub. My only reservation is with respect to the bed-side light. I think it would be helpful if it could be operated by a simple manual switch. When one needs to get up to go to the bathroom, it's confusing to have to look for the i-pad, and it causes an interruption to the pattern of drowsiness. Also, please provide milk or creamer. I particularly commend housekeeping on the scrupulous cleanliness, very much appreciated. Breakfast: Okay, I will be frank - would it be possible to have butter and marmalade made available, without having to ask for them specially. And I suggest that the coffee was too strong, and once again why no milk. It's good to be offered milk when the coffee/tea order is given. Location: Could not be better. Thank you for the wonderful gardens in the courtyards.

Everything is to like. It is a beautiful hotel with wonderful staff in a great location. And the manager is a very nice man. Wonderful experience. Spotlessly clean wonderful courtyard bar area and seating. It is a wonderful hotel and it was a beautiful hotel. Thank you all.

There is nothing to not like. It is like a maze. Signs are a little limited. We were on a short stay and kept getting lost. However, the manager did find us and help us and take on board our comments. We did have a butler, but I didn't want to wake her up. It was very early. But it is beautiful. There really is nothing to complain about.

Beautiful lobby, nice pool, huge room.

They have added on so much that it's huge and easy to get lost. I did not like all the tour groups of people walking through the facility. I thought the $41 for a Singapore sling was kind of ridiculous. We had arranged transportation and the bellboy to come to our room because we were leaving early. He did not show the man at the front desk. Had a very hard time getting a taxi for us took about 25 minutes and we were concerned we were going to miss our plane.
