The hotel is opposite the world-famous Marina Bay Hotel and has direct views of it, as well as of Merlion. This is perhaps the very best view one can get in Singapore. The physical infrastructure is modern, rooms are large and clean. The location is excellent.

There were three issues that surprised us and should not have been present in a hotel of this price and quality. First, there was very limited storage space in the room. The room was large, but there was no set of drawers to accommodate basic stuff of just two people. The second problem to report is the check in and check out process. There is an enormous queue every day in the lobby. We have never seen anything like this anywhere in the world. 20+ people in a queue for check in...?! The lobby feels like a railway station as a result. Last, breakfast is poorly managed. There is an enormous number of people and the restaurant simply is not large enough to accommodate. As a result there is visible crowding.

I knew this was a good location, but honestly it was a fantastic location surprisingly for the family as it's connected to Marina Square, walking distance to various other attractions. The MRT station was literally on the other side of the building, no crossing roads, 1 flight of stairs to get there! Staff were lovely, attentive. No issues

I love how the comfortable rooms are such a contrast to the lively atmosphere in the lobby. When you walk in, you feel like you're well looked after. The views are always awesome and the service impeccable. All the restaurants on site were top notch with such a large variety of cuisines to choose from. A perennial favourite. Singapore has many brilliant hotels, but I always choose Swissotel for its location, service and comfort

The toilet flushing system was running even after flushing but I managed to fix it myself

Great room, extremely comfortable, impeccable cleanliness and fantastic views.

Customer service could be improved. Do not like self-serve check in. Awful! After paying top rates, one does not expect to check themselves in especially when they are jet-lagged and tired. Self-check in might sound the 'in' thing but it's a drag and that's for real! It's only convenient for the company not for the customer! Also I didn't like the fact that the pool closes at 9.30 - which is rather early for a warm climate and too early for customers on holiday.

The hotel staff, especially at the reception, were simply top-notch! They answered all our questions, provided excellent tips, and even babysat our suitcases the next day. The room? Oh, the room was spectacular, with a breathtaking view of the city skyline. It was so mesmerizing that we seriously considered skipping sleep just to soak it all in. Everything in the room was so luxurious, we felt like gods on holiday. Zeus and Hera would definitely approve. Highly recommend—just prepare to have your standards ruined for every other hotel!

Excellent breakfast spread and Guna at the restaurant was simply superb. Took real good care of us. The location of the property is superb and very central! Views of Marina Bay sands from the room during sunrise and sunset was splendid.

Check-in took very long. They couldn't find the reservation made through booking.com and then they said breakfast wasn't included when in booking.com when it was.

Breakfast was good but you have to go there earlier to avoid queues. The view outside the hotel room balcony was stunning and the room was very comfortable and spacious. We were given connecting rooms as requested and appreciated that. There was a tap for filtered water in the bathroom that I never seen in any other hotel room that I went. That was a bonus. We also loved the bed, bathroom, toiletry kits that was provided and the spacious table and bench near the window. We enjoyed our stay a lot. Thank you!

Checking in for us was not straight forward as we were told different things - one room was ready and another was not. Minutes later we were told that both rooms we weren’t ready. We went out, came back later and waited for quite a bit to receive our hotel cards. But it’s not bad.

We loved everything in Stamford. Just to mention a few... Upon arrival at the Stamford, the bell service readily took our luggage and directed us to check-in where a staff was waiting to assist us for our smooth check-in. When we got to our room, we were in awe to see the best view of Singapore from our balcony. After 2 hours into our stay, housekeeping came and offered us an extra bed, free of charge for our 11 yr old daughter. We were surprised by the anticipation of the staff because we did not request for it. It was a big plus for a more comfortable stay. Thank you for this Stamford! The Stamford is also attached to the mall so it was good for shopping and dining. During our last night, we had dinner at the Skaii restaurant and the food was fantastic!

Check-in was quick and convenient thanks to Amelia. Staff very helpful. Room was modern and well equipped. Very comfortable. Great view of Marina Bay.

Booked a room with 2 DBL beds with Marina Bay view as described on Booking. Upon checking in we were informed that all DBL bed rooms had only a partial view of Marina Bay. Had to change to a King bed room and the hotel was nice enough to provide an extra bed.

We were allowed a room on the 60th floor and had an awesome view of the cityscape. The location was perfect and you could get to most places via the Raffles MRT station on location or on foot. We used Grab for most of our SG itinerary and this was conveniently possible from the pickup point in front of the lobby. Loved the pool area and poolside bar. Service was great. The included breakfast is multi cuisine, comprehensive and elaborate not to mention delicious!

The in lobby restaurant Stamford brasserie is overpriced and does not deliver the goods. Can be missed!
