Breakfast was ok. The pool was lovely. Staff were exceptional, always friendly and helpful. I booked for three people online, checked that there was extra bed for our child, also put this in the booking request. It wasn't and they wanted another $100 for the extra bed per night.This should be made clear in the booking, there was no mention of extra cost at the time of booking. It made for an uncomfortable stay.

In general nice hotel, but with room for improvements.

Check-in area 1st floor next to the restaurant, not enough check-in counters Gym very poorly equipped, one of the worst 5 star hotel gyms I have ever seen. Aircon and light control unit quite complicated, especially for older people, additional option to switch lights on and off manually recommended Windows are soundproofed, the doors are not, you can hear every cough and conversation from the floor.

They should reflect this with lower price.

My recent stay at the Grand Park City Hall hotel was very memorable. The hotel is stylish and comfortable, located perfectly close to public transport. The Crystal Club staff Gladys, Kripa, Darren and Iman were incredibly welcoming and helpful, adding a personal touch to my visit. The food was delicious, featuring daily local specials that I thoroughly enjoyed. Stunning views from the rooftop terrace made the experience even more memorable. Highly recommend for a delightful stay!

Pillow could be softer.

We booked the Crystal package which gave us breakfast on the 9th floor just down the corridor from our room which avoided the busy restaurant area next to reception. The manager ‘Gladys’ was very attentive ensuring we had topped up coffees and anything we wanted for breakfast. The 9th floor restaurant was spotless and excellent value for money offering afternoon tea’s and cocktails small buffet in the evening! Nazri the concierge was impeccable, knowledgeable with no task or request any trouble.

Our room lighting was controlled by a digital panel on the wall. This was situated between the bedroom and the bathroom meaning you had to get out of bed in the night to use - rather than the traditional bedside controls!

We loved this hotel and would book again. I am a thorough checker of reviews and blogs of places and this was rated 7.9 when we booked as we couldn’t afford a better place around New Year. I booked my parents into the Kempinski down the road as they had more money to spend and it was rated higher. So we went not being sure of what to expect. But honestly, this hotel was fabulous. And compared to the Kempinski, we all agreed this was better. Fabulous location. Spacious hotel room.

We were staying over new year which is also my birthday and we hadn’t booked the hotel rooftop party before we came. They couldn’t accommodate us which I found disappointing but ultimately our fault for not booking sooner!

If you’re looking for a hotel that delivers exactly what it promises without any unexpected issues or highlights, this is a good option.

Absolutely loved our stay - it exceeded our expectations in every way. Check in was smooth & we loved the little welcome note and details in our room to wish us a happy first wedding anniversary! The hotel itself was lovely, very clean and brilliant facilities. Our room was heavenly - the bed was so comfortable! Breakfast was brilliant, loads of options and great quality. Best of all, the staff were all amazing - friendly, helpful, polite and 10/10 service. Only small improvement would be that we couldn’t set the air con in the room to stay at a consistent temperature, the temp kept rising!

Location is quite good, staff were very friendly, hotel was clean. Pool looks like a great place to relax.

Room Light and A/C controls are odd and poorly located. Room was dark even with all lights on and window open. No drinking water in room other than a kettle and a dispenser that you presumably fill from the bathroom sink? Pillows are round, hard and too high.
