Clean, modern, funky place. Great facilities and location. The room was small, basic and a little bit lacking in charm. But it was enough for a really good shower and sleep - the bed and bathroom were very functional. Handy that it was in a mall too!

For the price, maybe some more charm in the room itself. And nicer breakfast options and dining area.

Somewhat noisy, especially on weekends. The blinds do not fully block the sunlight so better bring ear plugs and sleeping mask

We lived our stay here (so much we have now stayed in two more Lyf hotels while traveling) Great location - walkable to marine bay and china town Right by the train station (easy airport connection) Plenty of food options in the mall it’s set in Friendly staff Very comfortable bed and modern room - lots of space, hooks and shelves (basics but so many places don’t think these things through) Will be coming back to Singapore after our 6 months in Asia and will stay here again Nice kitchen to cook if desired - great to have an ice machine with the filtered water

We got free breakfast (booked through booking.com) but only breakfast for one person despite the room being for two? Seemed strange… we weren’t fussed about breakfast but annoying if a couple did want to eat

The hotel is ideally located in central Singapore, you can explore the city by foot from there. Many stores and restaurants around! Bed was comfy and it was very silent at night.

The shower would be better with a door. Staff wasn’t the friendliest. It’s not so easy to figure out how to access the hotel in the first place.

Excellent location with perfect connections to MRT stations. Close to City Hall (undercover), Clarkes Quay and Fort Canning all nearby. Perfect for solo travellers with safe, accessible and budget friendly accommodation. Access to cold and hot water stations was very useful for keeping hydrated. If you’re visiting as a tourist try to request a city view room. I fluked it, but it made my experience all the better. It would have been quite different getting an inward facing room. Funan shopping complex has everything you need - supermarket (B1), food court and restaurants either side (the dumpling/Chinese restaurant tucked away was delicious - I found it on my last day). By far my favourite part of my stay was the roof top garden with, in my opinion, one of the best views in Singapore and worthy of a sunrise visit.

The accommodation has a hostel feel to it but for not a huge difference in price from a hotel. It is, however, a hotel with private rooms. The co-living atmosphere gives communal vibes which I was seeking but perhaps not the shared fridge, etc. I stayed 9 nights with 1 light clean and 1 regular clean, a further clean before night 7 (main clean) would have been good. Rooms are perfect for solo travel but I wouldn’t recommend for travellers sharing rooms - there’s not a lot of scope for privacy with the bathroom and the bed configuration wouldn’t be great for sharing. Perhaps if sharing, get the twin bunk room if that’s something you’d consider. A great stay - just offering the helpful tips and insights gained from my stay.

The hotel is central, on top of a mall with a fantastic food court. Rooms are tiny but clean and they got everything necessary in it. A kitchen is available and fully equipped.

The breakfast could have a bit more selection.

Excellent location, short walk from Chinatown, Marina Bay etc and easy access to public transport. Cute facilities with general laundry room and water filters in every floor. It's also located within the Funan shopping centre, convenient for dining and some shopping. The rooms are cute with ample storage room.

Their limited housekeeping was inadequate. We stayed for 6n and they had a small clean on the third day but there was still hair on the floor and surfaces not wiped. There was also no shower door so the bathroom floor would always get very wet but they exchanged towels when requested, which was needed as the bath mat always soaked. Breakfast options are limited. Pool is also for ages 15+ and $35 per use.

The staff made this experience a standout.

Configuration with elevated bed platform against the wall wont suit everyone but was very comfortable.

I understand that it is hard to live without ac in Singapore. But on top of the whole city/building being on extremely active air conditioning, the fan of the ac unit in the room was directly aimed at the bed. The result was one of us getting sick because of the constant ac abuse and fan running on top of him during sleep. We consequently, lost precious time staying inside resting and recovering, instead of being outside exploring the city. The room could also have a simple spare bed sheet (which would be more than enough), instead of a thick blanket. It is hard to understand: hot outside, cold inside, use a thick blanket to stay warm inside.

As an American, I am not used to walking on the bed and platform of the bed to lay in bed. It's dangerous and uncomfortable. Hard to get in bed and hard to get out. It's inconvenient to get an elevator to 4th floor. Walk over, wait for another to get to 10th. It's dumb but oh well. When you shower, the toilet and the entire area around the toilet gets wet and then when you got to use the toilet 8 hours later the floor is still wet. 😅🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️. Was clean. Somewhat quiet unless the core truck is going. The core truck station is right now next door
