I'd needed to somewhere to stay during my 3-day night shift as my house was undergoing renovation. The hotel's location was fantastic as it was only a 5min walk from the MRT station. The room was small with a single bed, but fulfilled all my needs. The bed was exceptionally comfortable! Although the cleaning staff could not clean the room properly as I had to sleep during her morning cleaning rounds, she put in the effort to check on my needs when we ran into each other in the corridor, and fulfilled all my requests.

I wondered why the blankets were so thick in a country with naturally 20+ to 30+ degree C temperatures year round. On the first day of my stay I woke up multiple times because of the peculiar temperatures - too cold outside the blanket and but yet it was like an oven under the blanket. I had ended up bringing a thin quilt cover from home and turning off the aircon as I slept the subsequent nights. Am I the only one with this problem? I must say, though, that with my quilt cover and the air con turned off, it was the perfect temperature for sleeping in a perfectly comfortable bed.

The housekeeping staff was very kind and polite. The location is in a prime area. Good wifi speed. Closer to metro station and key tourist attractions. Good option for those wanting private room for the price considering singapore is very costly for accommodation. Overall will recommend staying here for sure and will definitely visit again Room size and bed size is small but functional with all amenities

Only downside is this hotel does not have housekeeping staff after 6pm. No bidet in washrooms Early check in can be a problem if the hotel is full You have to navigate between front door and back door if you are opting for a cab service as drivers wait at either of the doors.

Excellent location, a short stroll from Clark Quay and around 10min walk from Chinatown. This affordable hotel is a great option to stay in an incredible part of Singapore on a budget. Most importantly, it also has self-contained rooms with private showers and toilets as well as a lift which was super helpful with heavy bags. The aircon had a quiet mode which was important in a small space, and the little mini-fridge was also nice to have, if a bit inefficient in keeping anything particularly cold. The maintenance staff are to be commended for extreme cleanliness! Definitely recommended for budget travel, especially for solo travelers!

The single bed was quite worn and felt a bit like sleeping in a donut. Perhaps the hotel might consider new mattresses soon, or at least flipping the existing ones. The walls were very thin so you could hear neighbours...enjoying themselves...a bit too clearly. The lighting was also really average with lots of harsh cold ceiling lights. Still, you don't book a room in Clark Quay to hang out INSIDE your hotel. For sleeping it was quite fine indeed.

We were looking for a reasonably priced hotel in this part of town, near Boat Quay, and Hotel Clover the Arts fit the bill. The hotel is a short walk from the metro/subway, and in a very central location. There are lots of restaurants and shops within a short walk of the hotel. It's quite a lively area, though we didn't find it noisy at night. The room was compact, but big enough for me and my son. It was cleaned daily to a high standard, and fresh bottles of water and tea/coffee were given each day. The staff were friendly and helpful, though we didn't need to interact with them much.

There were no windows in the room, though that seems to be the case for many of the cheaper hotels in this part of town. Other than that we were very happy!

The outside needs a little freshening up, but the inside is clean and smart. The bedroom was very small, but perfectly formed and had everything I needed in the right place. Great location, walking distance to the major attractions and 2 minutes from a metro station.

The hotel is small with art murals on the wall, but the location in Boat Quay is fantastic. I don’t need luxury and extra space, just a proper place to take a bath, store my duffel bag and backpack, hang my clothes, and lie down. This property checks all my boxes as a solo traveler. The room is really clean and facilities are complete (AC, TV, toiletries, towels, room sandals, mini fridge, open wardrobes, separate shower, toilet, and basin, tea, coffee, sugar and creamer, small jug kettle, phone, notepad and pen, small nightstand), despite the small space. Access to the property can be reached by buses and MRT (alight at Clarke Quay or Raffles Place Station). It is near the Riverwalk area which is splendid for walking around and enjoying the view. Supermarkets are nearby, plus there are several restaurants serving my fave Bak Kut Teh. Loved staying here. Will definitely come back when I return to Singapore. 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

Price per value in my opinion is 10 out of 10. The room will be on the smaller side but it's clean and comfortable and enough if you do not plan to leisurely stay in the hotel. The location is a very good one because you have an MRT station right next to you. But it's also walkable two night scene and eating out place like Clark Quay and Boat Quay, this will take you only 3 minute walking. A little further but within 5 to 10 minutes depending on how fast your pace is will be Chinatown. So in my opinion this is a great place to stay especially if you come in a group where everyone might want to wander around on their own. The national museum and also peranagan museum is also nearby. You could walk or easily call grab within $10. the staff are all very polite, cheerful and helpful.

One of the thing we did not like is that the room is very clean but it smell a little bit. I think not all the room is like that because we are family group and the other room was fine. The cleaning service also will come a little bit later, so if you want them to clean it beforehand you must tell them so that the cleaning lady manage the time.

From the very start of our stay, including booking everything was great. The initial contact I had with the hotel was prompt and concise. When we got to the hotel at 10.00 pm the reception lady was really friendly and helpful. She was able to fix up our wifi issue straight away. The room was comfy and the bed was great. We thought that they room was very good. It was smallish but it still had enough room for three adults. I noticed that quite a number of reviews commenting on the size of the room.....They should stay in Europe!! The shower pressure was great and made our day after walking around Singapore. The AC was cool and it wasn't noisy.

The carpet in the hallways needed a clean but Singapore is a tropical country that rains alot.

My room was tiny but I ended up liking it, it was very easy to move around. It was at the back of the property and SO quiet 😍😍😍 I'm a light sleeper and slept so well! There were light switches next to the head of the bed as well as at the door, which was super convenient and a nice touch. The location is great, you're walking distance to everything in central. The staff were nice and helpful.

My fridge never seemed to get cold, and some food I stored in it went off earlier than I wanted. The light switch for the entire room next to the head of the bed didn't work, so I had to switch off the main light using the switch by the door. The room is tiny so that didn't matter at all, but it was a continual small annoyance.

I got exactly what I had paid for and I was mostly happy with the purchase. The location was excellent. Walking distance to Chinatown, Fort Canning, Merlion, Clarke and Boat Quay. Train stations at Raffles place and Clarke Quay gave access to Marina Bay and Gardens, Sentosa Island, Kampong Glam and Indian sector. Easy to get to zoo- TE train from Maxwell to Springleaf then bus 138 to the zoo. Such a great location. Lovely staff at reception but best of all was Marie from housekeeping who always had a smile and took excellent care with my room and made sure everything was OK when cleaning.

This would have been a superb stay for me apart for the air conditioner in my room which gurgled at all hours of the day and night. I ended up wearing earplugs at night. A couple of times it turned into a waterfall but Marie was on hand to mop up the water for me. The air-conditioning which worked well but was noisy was the only thing that stopped this being a perfect score.
