We were excited to bring my mom to the Singapore to celebrate her 60th Birthday and deviated from our normal hotel groups to pick Kempinski. It's safe to say the team excelled and made us all feel special (especially my mom). It really helped cement we made the right choice in hotel for Singapore. Areen is a star and handled a lot of the room setup for us. She was incredibly helpful and set the tone for the stay. Additionally she listened when my wife mentioned she was pregnant and took it upon herself to send up a maternity pillow and bought us a few toys as gifts for when our baby is born. This was an incredible gesture and left my wife in tears of happiness. As well as Areen, we had really friendly staff throughout. Special mention for Balaji who organised our late checkout and Devlin who gave great advice and helped with our departure to the airport. Just want to finish by say and huge thank you again to the entire team. Well located hotel in central historic precinct. “Raffles at a fraction of the price” - they share history. Do the heritage tour with Jean to appreciate the location. Preferably with high tea beforehand - that’s superb and includes local flavours presented beautifully. Walk to marina, Canning Hill, lots of shops. And MRT station right across the road when your feet get tired. Lots of food options on three levels downstairs - find the Portuguese tart shop on B2.

The Heritage room was very comfortable with a great bathroom and a view to the street from the closed balcony. The room offered everything we needed to come and go. The breakfast provided for a range of choice options between Asian and Western, fresh and cooked foods and was excellent to start the day. Easy access to underground transport through the adjoining arcade enabled us to move around the city easily. The staff were friendly, professional and courteous.

The breakfast was VERY good. I've stayed at a lot of hotels and had many breakfast but this one was indeed great. It might sound like a small detail but a hotel serving fresh berries (blueberries, raspberries and strawberries), I think I never seen that!! The quality and variety of the food was excellent. Recommend it 100%. Also the staff was very service minded and extremely nice. Specially since we had two small kids, they made an effort to make us all feel welcome. Thank you!

The baby crib was a bit "out dated", I think this could use an upgrade. Would be nice to also have a blanket with the crib. The black out curtains did not really make the room very dark, I think it could be solved pretty easily, but it made light enter just by the bed where you lie your head, a bit annoying.

Beautiful hotel in impeccable condition- only about 4 floors in old Capitol Theatre building, maintaining some of the grandeur but never overstated. Room was fab and travelling with two kids, they made up the sofa and provided a rollaway so we comfortably slept in one large room. Lobby lounge and restaurant areas really grand and classy. Location great as within walking (ish) of both Marina Bay and Orchard Road Shopping. Staff made it with little surprises and recommendations throughout - one noticed me itching a mozzy bite and next thing I know there is cream and plasters in our room! David the friendly concierge provided amazing eating options nearby Highly recommend

Nothing really - didn’t use the pool but we did have a peak and looked a tad small. No one there However so not like overcrowded

More amenities could be provided in the room and the speed of service could be faster. Also, quality of phone line when calling reception was not good.

Stop looking for the perfect hotel in Singapore because you have just found it! My husband and I were blown away by this fabulous hotel!. All the staff from the bellboy, check-in, cleaners and restaurant staff were extremely polite and friendly. We stayed in a beautiful Heritage room, which was clean and very spacious. The hotel food was DELICIOUS! I have never seen so much variety at breakfast and brunch, I have stayed in a lot of hotels around the world, so I say this with certainty. The hotel is within walking distance of all the attractions and the train station is a 5 minute walk if you want to explore further. The Management should be proud of their staff and what they have accomplished as this hotel is truly a guests dream.

Great location, beautiful decor in a very stylish and elegant way, lots of small touches which added to the positive experience like the waitresses remembering your name in the morning when leading you to your breakfast table, breakfast was excellent with plenty of variety and different options (both Western and local options). The service was amazing from all the staff you were very attentive and courteous. The room was really comfortable and the beds were excellent! There was a slight smell in the toilet from the drains but overall the toilet was very fancy even with a heated seat! We were really happy with our day and the location was so ideal for being able to walk everywhere or grab a taxi. highly recommend. I was also a complimentary mini bar that had coffee, tea and soft drinks which was replenished to buy the staff each day.

The fact that it was more boutique style and felt family like rather than a huge cold luxury hotel. The staff from the gecko very friendly, informative and professional. Great warm vibe here. Train station so close and you can ride MRT to everywhere. Shopping Mall next door with high end shops galore and great food courts as well. Breakfast was amazing a great selection. Pillow Menu was a nice touch. Happy with everything and would definitely return.
