From the moment we stepped out of the taxi we were met with polite, friendly & extremely helpful staff. Our room was clean, bed comfortable and we had everything we needed for a 6 night stay. Breakfast on the week days was substantial, served by wonderful ladies who couldn’t do enough to help. Despite the heat and humidity we walked to many of Singapore’s attractions and for ones slightly further afield the bus stop was close by.

It was perfect for our needs

The apartment was centrally located between Bugis MRT station from the airport and Bras Basah which links you to pretty much everywhere else. The apartment had spectacular views across Singapore Flyer. Breakfast was supplied and had a great mix of food. The staff were like old friends by the time we left. There was an induction cooktop and a microwave if you wanted to self cater. We did that a couple of times when we had walked ourselves to exhaustion. The fridge was large and had a very efficient freezer. The washing machine was very welcome to clean up. There was a drying system which we didn’t need to use. Everything dries very quickly particularly when the very efficient air conditioning was on.

When we booked we were not advised that there was a $500 bond that needed to be put on a credit card.

We had a really comfy stay at Wilby Central! The accommodation was well-equipped but in excellent condition. It was the little touches not often found in other places that made us feel welcomed and gave it that homey vibe. One such example, the shoe rack in the cupboard - to be able to have our shoes neatly tucked away and out of sight…no more eye sore after a tiring day out! Plus, everything was spotless—the fridge, microwave, and kettle were all clean and free of stains. Most of the staff were friendly and eager to help, always making sure we had a comfortable stay. Their warm smiles and respectful greetings were a delight, with a special shout-out to Sukuma and Shanti, and of course, Iskandar, whom we met on our checkout day. Our housekeeper, Nurul, was fantastic—courteous and thorough in keeping our room in great shape. She even noticed we had used up all the hangers and added more without us even asking! This level of attention to detail across the board really shows that the management is thoughtful and committed to providing great service. As frequent travelers to Singapore, we might have just found our go-to place!

Wilby Central is well located, walking distance to many of Singapore’s tourist destinations. The building is well managed and the staff are very helpful. The breakfast lounge is available on week day mornings for a simple breakfast from 6:30 - 8:30 am but the lounge itself remains open all day for self serve coffee or tea. The apartment was clean and bright and well equipped, with room service available 3 times weekly. A short walk away there are many restaurants and shops , and there is easy access to the public transport system if you want to go further afield.

I never did learn how to fine tune the aircon myself, and often found it either too cold or too warm, but the front desk did offer to send someone up to re-set it including the direction of the airflow. The in-room control panel is more complicated than it needs to be.

Perfect stay! My husband and I were visiting our family back home and we thought a serviced residence would be ideal. And we really lucked out with Wilby!! The staff (reception, security, housekeeping and everyone else) were so so kind and helpful! The location was perfect - it's so close to so many places (food places, malls etc.) and they were so walkable too! Also very close to mrt stations (both circle & green lines). Room was perfect for our stay - we had kitchenette, washer, cute way to dry our clothes, fridge; bed was super comfy! Didnt have any issues & amenities were great (workspace in the lounge, breakfast etc). Definitely felt like a home when we were there. All in all, we'll definitely come back here for our next stay! Thanks so much for such a great stay!!

Location and size of the room. There were two MRT stations to choose from - Bras Basah and Bugis. Centrally located and near to all the tourist attractions like Arab street and Chinatown. Rooms was clean, bright and comfortable. I had the Deluxe Studio and it had a washing machine, microwave and fridge in the room. I didn’t cook on the cooktop but it was there if you wanted to along with crockery and cutlery. Breakfast was included but I didn’t get to try it. Also, housekeeping was done three times a week. Staff were helpful and friendly. Would definitely recommend and will stay there again!

Hallways were hot and smelly

Staff is quite helpful and friendly, especially the night shift Location is extremely convenient - hard to beat unless you are staying in MBS or one of the Fullertons. Spacious rooms (atleast in the 2BHK), aircon and wifi are superb Innovative bathroom features (Japanese style toilet, clothes drying mechanism)

$500 mandatory security deposit is only possible with Credit card or cash (very inconvenient for users with only a debit card as the refund takes months to process using this option).

The location could not have been better. Perfectly located close to several MRT stations and bus stops that will get you to all the iconic attractions. The room was extremely quiet and self contained with a washing machine. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

The bed mattress was rather hard and lumpy with a noticeable division in the middle. The bathroom is a little outdated but completely functional.

The apartment was extremely well situated. There were lots of restaurants and cafes within walking distance. There were also two mrt stations close by. The room was very clean and I found the layout to be well thought out. I especially liked how the restroom could be turned into a dryer. It was very convenient.

The air conditioner in the room was powerful but extremely noisy. I had to use ear plugs to sleep. I also found the breakfast unappetizing. The cooked options were oily and unhealthy (mee rebus and fried chicken for breakfast, for example). They did provide buns, bread and spreads, cereal and milk, but I felt the breakfast lacked eggs and healthier options like yoghurt. Not everyone can stomach heavy cooked food so early in the morning. In future, I will not opt to add breakfast to my stay. I did not find it worth the cost at all.

The location is excellent, with numerous transport and food options. The suite size is very good, and the suite was reasonably well equipped. Inclusion of a washing machine is a very good feature. Staff were always on hand, friendly and helpful.

A few minor inclusions would be very helpful, specifically a foldable luggage rack and a toaster. I discovered a few days into my stay that the cabinet under the TV is a void. It would be perfect for storing a suitcase on a luggage rack. A microwave and kettle are provided in the kitchen, but no toaster. This would be useful for the weekends, when there is no breakfast service. There were not many glasses in the kitchen cabinet, and it was necessary to use those in the bathroom. Also, the cutlery was sparse, with only one fork in the cutlery drawer.
