Very convinient location, 2 minutes to the MRT station which easily brings you to the most attractions (and the taxi is also unexpnsive with Grab). A bedroom an a separate living room (note the surcharge for the 3rd person bed when booking) which is very convininet for the family. Good value for money compare to the very expensive hotels in the downtown. Nice rooftop pool to cool off. The room is well equipment. We came after midnight to check-in and there was somebody in the lobby to assist.

The breakfast is below the expected from the 4* hotel. It is outourced to the kind of cathering restaraunt and the restaraunt staff doesnt care, the variety and the quality should be improved.

For sure will stay here again for another trip to Singapore. The location is very strategic, close to MRT Bencoolen which is just a short walk away across the property. Very easy to find foods and walking distant to Bugis Market, Bugis+, Bugis Junction.

The pick up and drop off point in front of the hotel is a sure plus!! Those with heavy luggages appreciate the drop off point!. The 2-bedroom apartment has 2 bathrooms, something I find very useful for 2 families staying together.

Bigger than expected apartment, well equiped with 2 good size bedrooms. Toiletries and tea/coffee were provided. Bencoolen MRT station right outside giving easy access to Chinatown and Bayfront (on the same line) to save walking too far in the heat. Bugis Junction, Bugis+ and Bugis Market were less than 10mins walk away giving plenty of options for places to eat and shop. Chijmes, with it's many restaurant is also just a short walk away. The rooftop pool was a great place to cool off after a day out and about, with towels provided too. Overall a good size apartment in an excellent location.

Hotel was well located with MRT stations located on two lines within 50 metres of the hotel. Two other major MRT interchange stations and large shopping centres within 5 to 8 minutes walk. The one bedroom apartment had a fully fitted small kitchen. Furnishings in the apartment were above average but not luxurious.

A few items needing better maintenance e.g. shower door not closing tightly, in-room safe had a low battery state and not useable. Room did not have USB power outlets. For a serviced apartment hotel, no washing machine/dryer in-room - laundry facilities were in a common area and charged for use.

The roof top pool was beautiful and a welcome treat on returning after a day's sightseeing. We also found the location brilliant - across from the subway entry, making getting around really easy!! The room was comfortable and the staff were helpful. Having breakfast included was another bonus of staying at Somerset. It was great being able to store our luggage after check out and still feel like a guest, being able to use some of the hotel's facilities. Thank you, we'd definitely choose to stay here again if we return to Singapore!

Signage on the outside of the building could be a bit more obvious. Our maps app indicated Somerset Bencoolan was a few doors up from where we actually found it to be. Arriving in the evening, we still had to ask for directions as the entry and the building itself were modestly labelled.

Good location -- very central and right across from a good MRT line. But our room was quiet, so no issues with noise. Really nice to have a mini apartment for our stay. I would definitely stay here again. Staff at front desk was helpful and kind -- they switched our room at the last minute when we realized we had been assigned the room that opened directly onto the playground (it worked out well for the family checking in the same time as we were).

The amenities in the apartment are bit spare -- two pillows on the bed, just two towels, no extras of anything. A couch and just one chair with the table. Kitchen had just two cups, etc. We didn't bother to ask for more, though, so can't really complain.

Stayed in this hotel for 20 days for an assignment. The rooms are quite spacious. They have 1 BHK apartments with a small kitchenette and basic utensils and cutlery. Can’t cook much but food for basic bread toast, bowl meals. The service is good and housekeeping cleans the utensils everyday except Sunday. The roof top pool offers great view and also a small gym with basic machines and weights. There is a small kids play area as well. They have a laundromat washer and dryer but it costs around S$18 for one round. The best part of this hotel is the location, multiple bus stops, two MRT stations (Downtown Line Bencoolen and Circle Line Bras Basah) and 10 min walking distance from Singapore National Museum and Fort Canning Park. The property is a little aged and that is visible in the room and all facilities. The breakfast is very limited and basic. You can choose to skip breakfast at hotel and eat outside at nearby bakeries. Overall a decent play to stay if you are looking for longer stay in spacious rooms with basic kitchen facilities.

The 1 bedroom apartment was great for us travelling with our 10 month old. So much space for us in the living area while baby slept in the cot in the bedroom. So many great additions to make a holiday feel like home - anti slip mat in the bath, laundry basket, drying rack, all kitchen utensils, huge wardrobe, iron, ironing board, everything you need! the rooftop pool was amazing in the Singapore heat and so many areas for baby to roam. The restaurant downstairs was also delicious, and there are so many restaurants and food courts around. Location is so convenient - walk to raffles city and you have everything you need. Would 100% stay again!

Overall the room was fine, and the location was quite good. There are multiple MRT stations nearby which made it very easy to move around Singapore. There's a running track at the nearby university which we found very useful during our stay. The pool seemed quite good, however we didn't actually use it. The staff were very friendly and provided a very good service.

There was nowhere to have meals like a table with chairs, considering that there was a fully equipped kitchen we thought this was a lacking feature. The gym is very small with limited equipment.
