It was quaint. It had a vending machine outside too for any snacks and drinks. The room was also comfortable. People were great. Love the shower head. Also provided toothbrush. Got hairdryer too. Very convenient.

There are sharp ends of the shelf near the toilet. Just be careful cause it might injure you coming out from toilet. Also it can be a little bit of a walk to Mountbatten MRT. Bring umbrella please if you choose to stay here.

We were traveling as a group and the hotel staff listened to our request to have our rooms close together. There's a water heater. The shower pressure is good. Water from the sink is potable as the staff said. The beds were comfy for the price. Elevators were functioning and the staff were helpful with our inquiries. It's easy to get to from the airport by taxi or Grab, not to mention that the bus stop going to Suntec area and the city centre is a few minutes away. If you aren't averse to a bit of walking, you can just walk to the Old Airport Road Hawker Centre which is a good place to eat cheaply and experience traditional Singaporean fare. And from there, Mountbatten station and another bus stop isn't far away. If you're on the Geylang Road side, there's also a bus stop. And a lot of places open at night in case you want to do a small grocery run or to eat, or do laundry. I also like that there's two beverage vending machines outside the lobby, one of them dispenses fresh and cold orange juice.

The shower area for the bathroom was a little small, and the showerhead isn't installed higher and angled downwards, so that makes the showerhead water spray hit the opposite wall instead of downwards. Add that there isn't a shower door/divider (not sensible for how small the bathroom is), so water does tend to splash out to the toilet area. On the upside, housekeeping replaces the towels, bathroom mat and dries out the floor during our stay on a daily basis. There isn't a dedicated light on my side of the room since there's only two lights in the main sleeping area, so if I want lights, I have to disturb my roommate by turning on the lights.

Hotel was very clean and comfortable. The employees at the reception were very helpful. The room had a lot of facilities. It was nice that I could made a cup of tea or coffee by my own. The hotel is located between the city and the airport. You could easily take a taxi to the city center for 15 SD or to the airport for 35 SD. however there isn't much you can do at a walking distance. Plenty of low cost restaurants and markets but not a single bakery or a good restaurant. In the room you could listen to the water running from the above room. At first it was kind of strange but after you close the shower door you forget it. Overall I am pleased with the hotel and I could definitely stay there again .

I liked the friendliness of the staff. They were also quite helpful, especially that one front desk guy. Our room was tidy up every day, which was awesome. The air conditioning system is running well, and the hot shower too. We also get free sticks of coffee. Our room was small but cozy. If you're only looking for a place to sleep during your trip to SG, I recommend this place. It's bang for your bucks! There's Wi-Fi, close to restaurants, ATMs, and the train station is only 15 minutes walk.

Some of the guests were too loud when they talked, and we could hear them in our room. Also, when they shut their door, it's always loud. But the rudeness of the other guests isn't the fault of the staff.

The hotel room is very spacious with a nice view outside. Enough to accomodate 3 person in a room. The staff are very accomodating. I am satisfied with their service. Specially the room cleaner. She makes sure that the room is organized and clean. After a tiring day, all you need to do is lie down and relax. When we checked out we were short with our currency fare. Special thank you to the frontdesk staff for granting my request and going extra mile in changing my usd to sgd. A small buck goes a long way. Your kindness saved us from being late at the airport. We will definitely recommend and booked again Ibis budget Singspore Crystal.

The room was very nice. Comfortable beds and fresh sheets. All the basic stuff is there, clean and ready to use. Good soundproofing. The staff was polite and friendly. No issues with luggage storage (10 hours). Easy to get from the bus stops.

The location isn't great, but the price is unbeatable. It is difficult to get to the city (30 minutes by bus), but it is okay if you are ready to leave one time and come back in the evening. The location is also close to the red district, but except for the shady fellows looking for an hourly-based fun, it's all safe (especially from the side you come back from the main attractions in Singapore).

the noise when a neighbouring room flushes the toilet or has a shower can be off-putting.The hotel is near a red light district but the women will not be over-aggressive or hassle you.

Location: It was close to several bus stops which made going around much easier and convenient. the area where it was located was also quiet. Room: The room was sufficient in size for two persons. the beds were comfortable and the room was clean. No unpleasant smell. The bathroom was likewise equipped with heater. They provide a hair dryer as well so no need to bring one.

None. Our stay was comfortable and pleasant. The staff were very responsive to our needs and were very polite as well. The concierge is open 24 hours which was convenient since we arrived after midnight.

Our room was very neat and clean. Not too far from train or busses,this part of town is known for some of the best food in the district. We caught the bus downtown and train back and if to lazy after a big day hopped onto a bus and got off the first stop. First time always the hardest to follow but people are nice so don't be scared to ask.

For those who like a very firm bed, it's ideal, but if you're looking for comfort, it's not good. It didn't bother us as we have stayed in this area before, but it is the red light district, still safe to go and enjoy the street food and restaurants.
