Great place, about ten minutes from the centre and close to a beautiful viewpoint (it is a bit up a hill but nothing too steep). Good size room and plenty of windows for fresh air! Lots of stuff in the room as well, bathrobe, slippers, showergel/shampoo, minibar, fruit basket. Supermarket around the corner. I didn't use the garden but it looked nice! Very quiet area as well. And staff/owner super friendly. Made a chat with who ever was there everyday and getting great tips! Mostly it was Adrian, great host! Gave me tips on where to eat, where to go, how to get to certain places. Superb!

Nothing that would keep me from going here again! AC was a bit noisy but didn't really use it that much and bath is a bit shallow. But again, wouldn't stop me from going again! And recommending this place to everyone!

The villa is located within walking distance of the centre. We were very pleased with the high quality of the accommodation. Very well furnished and equipped room. Nice garden and fitness available. Excellent breakfast using fresh and homemade products, different every day. Friendly and helpful owner - we also got good recommendations regarding the town and surrounding area. Definitely recommend for accommodation in Cluj.

Beautiful historical building with all modern amenities, very clean and nicely furnished in quiet neighborhood yet only 10 minute walk to historical city center and close to most interesting cultural sites. Owner/host Adrian is extremely welcoming and is very helpful with any questions about the city and generously offers recommendations for restaurants and cultural sites that one may not have heard about.

The very warm welcome by the hosts, their interest and their extremely friendly way to care for everything guests might need made the stay very pleasant and relaxed. The building has a lot of character and the rooms are well equipped and comfortable. The breakfast varies with a lot of home made details and gives you a great start into the day! The location is very good in walking distance to the city and parking was easy. Thanks for everything to the whole family for all your care, we felt very welcome!

The breakfast options were ample and everything was delicious. The service and attention to detail were constant and excellent. One is asked if one wants to have breakfast and what time would be convenient to have it and they arrange to have it at the time you need it! Absolutely great!

We took only one breakfast. According to the owner, who was always present, he consulted us the evening before, in order to prepare us a personalized breakfast. It was served at the late morning hour as we requested, and offered a lot of options. The location was quite, in spite of being close to the city center. The villa offers even umbrellas for rainy days.

I can't recommend this place enough. The staff are what make it special, they made every allowance and more for us to make us feel welcome, they were fantastic from start to finish. We arrived at the airport at 3:30am and Adrian came and picked us up, which I was surprised at because it was such a horrible time of the night to arrive. Both Adrian and his wife gave us advice about what to see and do while in Cluj and also facilitated us getting a rental car (which was good quality and a very reasonable price). The breakfast was really good too, it carried us all the way until tea in the evening each day. The room was a good size, was always spotlessly clean when we returned later in the day and the facilties were as good as you could want for the price we paid. All in all, if we came back to Cluj, we'd 100% recommend this place.

The location is not in the old town, but it's a short walk down the road to get there. Getting back is a bit of a climb, but the separation between the centre is probably a good thing, as its very quiet here at night, you won't struggle to sleep.

Friendly staff, great breakfast, cozy rooms -- ours also had a bathtub in the bathroom -- and also a gym! Another thing we liked was that our room also had a nook surrounded by windows where one could either take in the view (though with the other houses nearby there wasn't too much to see) or just sit down and read. Lots of stuff to like here. The hotel is not far from public transport either, and the city center is within walking distance.

It is a family business and the owner outperforms to satisfy his guests. The attention is being paid to all the minor details. The villa itself is in a "castle" style and the owners do everything they can to get the most possible out of this old building. Their attitude compensates the age of the building. The breakfast, the home-made jam, fruits in the room, etc, etc create the very pleasant atmosphere.

I would renew the shower cabin. Not an easy task considering the age and style of the building.

Charming and helpful hosts who made us feel very welcome during our stay. The hotel is in a delightful, quiet residential area so noise wasn't a problem, and it is close enough to the historic city centre that it was practical to walk in (even in the June heat!). The room was spacious and very comfortable. We'll definitely try to stay there again on our next visit to Cluj.
