As an old backpacker traveler who is a night owl, I chose this hotel for my 4 day stay in Cluj, because it is located in the center of the city, near Piata Unirii, where St. Michael's Church is. Many pubs and tourist attractions can be reached by walking. The single room I had was very small and the bed was narrow, only for one person. Well, I just needed an affordable room with a bed in the city-center. I can't say anything about breakfast, as I never had breakfast, because I never got up before 10 am. The food in the restaurant of the hotel is good and value for money. Example: chicken breast cutlet baked with cheese with potato wedges and salad for 40 lei. I liked to have dinner in the open air in the courtyard of the hotel. Right next to the hotel is also a kebab restaurant and a shopping center with grocery store. Behind this center are parking spaces for electric cars with charging facilities.

The room I had could not be completely darkened, daylight fell into the room from a window above the door.

I didn't have the breakfast. I am not a lover of cold meats etc but had a kettle with me, so had tea and a cereal and fruit in my room. Location was fantastic. right near a good supermarket (Carrefour), easy to walk to places in the town. I had a quiet room. Staff at reception helpful and friendly, spoke English. The restaurant next door served excellent pasta, good food. a nice ambiance. I had three days here before my travel group of 12 people arrived. so glad I booked the extra days at this hotel!

Breakfasts offered. If fresh fruit and cereal offered I might have considered paying for this. As it was I was happy to have breakfast in my room, using my kettle tea bags, fruit I had bought at supermarket next door, plus cereal I had brought from home. Had to drag my rather heavy suitcase up stairs. no-one there to help (but I never asked). No lift so be aware anyone with any disability.

For my needs, the location of the hotel was perfect, it was one of the reasons I chose this hotel. The breakfast was diverse and abundant, the quiet atmosphere and the fact that the hotel is practically situated in a backyard is an advantage because the noise is dimmable. I stayed a night longer than the reservation, but it was no problem.

I don't have any complaints. I can only say that being an old hotel (well restored) the room and the bathroom are quite small. I was alone and it was not a problem, but for more persons it is not very confortable.

The Hotel is in a great location just a few minutes walk from the centre of Cluj-Napoca. Being on the ground floor meant we could sit outside on the terrace in the evenings. The food from the restaurant was excellent and very reasonably priced.

The rooms are a little dated and the shower curtain was missing from the over bath shower which meant that the bathroom got soaked every day. The tea and coffee making facilities were poor with no mugs,coffee or normal teabags.

I have stayed here before. It is well located in the heart of the city and about 25 minutes walk from the train station. The one way system means that there are buses from outside the hotel to the station but no buses from the station to anywhere near the hotel. The courtyard setting is wonderful. The bedrooms are cosy or small depending on your point of view. It isa great place to stay

I arrived by train and walked straight to the hotel arriving at 7.30pm only to be told the restaurant had closed two minutes ago. That is not acceptable on a Saturday night when travellers are expected.. This was all the more annoying because the meal I had there on Sunday was excellent

The hotel has literally the perfect location. It's an extra you can leave your car at a safe parking zone for 50lei/night. The hotel is perfect for a weekend getaway. It has a super cute yard where you can have your breakfast.

The room's wall could have another paint at somewhere but it's still ok. There was only one tiny bin in the bathroom for the whole room.

The location was great in the centre of city. Place was clean.Staff from reception helpfull.

One of staff from restaurant was not helpfull rude when I asked her to come to take order. I understood the situation that she was alone with people but you don’t speak with customers like that. If you are busy tell to your boss to hire more people.

located just a few meters from the city center,in an old german inn,this hotel is ideal for those loving spend the night out. Only minus is that the doors of the ground florr don't lock and there are a lot of homeless people roaming around-so always keep your valuables with you and put a chair or furniture on the door to prevent someone coming in your room while you sleeep!

The location is excellent in the heart of the city. Is a restaurant in the hotel so you can meet with friends and have a snack or coffee without leaving the hotel. The closed parking at the back of the hotel is a huge advantage!

I ordered 3 rooms with double bed. One of them was with separate beds without the option to bring them closer, but finally the guy from the reception helped us and we got a room we ordered.

The location of the hotel is great. Within the city centre. All staff (at the reception, cleaning ladies) are very polite, they speak English very well and are very helpful. We had a problem with charging the card for the booking, but receptionist had a lot of understanding and helped us to solve all the problems. Some rooms (there were group of us so we saw more than one room) are more recently renovated than others, however, the older ones are even more charming, with old wooden floors. We only wish to be here during some warmer days, since there are nice balconies, tables and plants in yard…

Breakfast was good, but the dining room is quite small. During warmer days would be better, since one could eat breakfast at outside tables.
