Republique is a lovely hotel, very well-situated within about a 5-minute walk from the edge of the historic city center in a quiet and nice neighborhood. Our room was quite large with a wonderful balcony. Staff members were always friendly and polite. Everything was perfectly clean and extremely comfortable. The hotel parking has room for 6-8 vehicles, depending on car size and driver's parking skills, but it seemed like street parking would be a viable alternative. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend it enthusiastically and without hesitation to anyone visiting Sibiu.

A dog somewhere in the neighborhood barked all night during our first night at the hotel, but that obviously was not the hotel's fault or within the hotel's power to correct. We played "sleep music" on a tablet the second night and slept well.

The hotel’s location is perfect! It’s very near in the historic center, restaurants and even in the train station. The place is also located in a quiet and good neighbourhood so you will really relax and enjoy your stay. The room is very clean, modern and fully furnished. I like how soft the pillows are, how big the bathroom is and the balcony in the room is situated at the back side with their garden view. The hotel staffs are very friendly, professional and helpful. Special thanks to Ms Daniela (receptionist) for being accommodating and helping me with regards of my every needs such as providing information about the public bus transportation, allowing me to leave my luggages in the hotel after the check-out time and letting me stay at their beautiful terrace while waiting for my train departure back to Bucharest. I really enjoyed my stay at Republique Hotel and I will definitely choose to stay here again whenever I’m back in Sibiu.

These doesn’t bother me but just for the improvement: The breakfast is kinda repetitive. I stayed for 2 nights and they served food almost the same for everyday. Cooked food can be added such as bacon or sausage and even some salads. But anyway, they can make you some eggs just like how you want it to be cooked. For a 4 star hotel, there was no bathrobe and vanity kit in the room.

The room was spacious and spotless. bed was great, window and terrace with a great view, bathroom had all the necessities. There's a safe in the closet, minibar and complimentary water and coffee/tea. Enough electrical outlets, good size flat screen TV. Breakfast was really fulfilling, and they had anything you'd want to start your day. Cold cuts, various cheese, fresh real eggs, whether omelets or however you'd like them, cereals, yogurts, milk, real butter, fresh fruits, fruit juices, coffee, tea, pastries, etc. The property t is situated in a quiet neighborhood, but you can get to Sibiu's downtown in probably 5 min walking, It has also good parking spots on site. Our Hostess Sonia, was absolutely great, she reached out to us to confirm arrival time, she set us for check in, and with her calm, and pleasant personality, she provided one of the best customer experience we were exposed to in many years of travelling.

The location is great, close to city center and other interesting objectives. The beds are big and very cozy, at night it's very silent so you can really have a decent sleep and rest. Big TV, good internet through wifi

The room was like an attic, low and not straight top walls at some places in the room where I bumped my head a few times :)) Keep in mind that there is not a 24h reception so checkins need to be made until 20:00.

a very nice hotel, located a few hundred meters from the old city. a most welcoming people, did their best to let us feel welcome, very helpful with any request. a good breakfast, not a lot variety, but very tasty.

Everything about our stay was great, the location of the hotel was our main attraction, given that we attended some lectures at a nearby university, but the city centre was also right at hand, a mere 10 minute walk. Private parking was also included, which was great, and since everything was walking distance we were happy to be able to “abandon” our car for the duration of our stay, with special thanks for the understanding of the staff, since we had to keep it there a bit longer after check-out in order to attend another lecture. The room was very clean, with room service coming in daily. Fully equipped with all that we could need, we simply cannot think of any cons for this accommodation.

The balcony view was great! We liked that we were able to walk to a few different restaurants from this location. We enjoyed the breakfast before we departed. The bathroom had a bathtub and a shower. There were buttons beside the bed that controlled the lighting and the window blinds. The room was very "smart." The thermostat wouldn't change if the door was open to the balcony so as not to waste power/resources. We were very impressed by the ingenuity of this hotel.

The place is old VILa with a big hidden harden where you can drink and think in peace. It is close to the town 5 min walking in quiet area. Our room was perfect.. not to speak that duvet was from natural materials, bed perfect! The lady leading the place was the person every owner of the hotel would be happy for such a person. She really wanted everything to be perfect and it was! Breakfast top! We recommend thay place! Perfect for parking motorcycles

The hotel is located 10 minutes walk from the center in a very quiet area. There is free parking inside if you need it for the car. Breakfast in the morning can be both inside and outside in the beautiful garden of the structure. The staff was very kind and helpful. In the morning breakfast is served from 7.30 and is partially buffet style. Hot dishes are freshly made upon request. I'm sorry I only spent one night in the hotel but I will keep it in mind for friends and if I return to the area in the future.

The room was very good with enough space and a balcony. The bed was very comfortable and the bedding was clearly good quality. The staff, especially the receptionist were very friendly and helpful. location also very good, in a quiet location but close to the Sibiu centre.
