The gorgeous villa is a piece of beautiful history, it's charm brings you back to another era, an era of elegance, of Kings and Queens. Located walking distance from the city center, in a very quite area, surrounded by greenery. I loved the peace of the place, the fresh air and and the cozy garden. The room was very clean with everything you need.

I was disappointed with the attitude of the lady at checkout. I told her I liked our stay and I would like to have a memory from this place. I asked her kindly if I could BUY one of the coffee cups from breakfast and she answered short and firm "No." with no explanation. I really didn't understand, it was something so small, to buy a coffee cup...it didn't make any sense. Another thing that I think it can make the stay more enjoyable, is the music during breakfast. They have this beautiful salon, all white and filed with natural light, so inviting and cozy, but the music playing at 9 AM was reggaeton music. Piano music or smooth jazz I think would be appropriate and suitable for the cozy atmosphere. Also, in the bathroom, room 15, there weren't any towel hooks.

As it wasn't our first stay here, we liked it as much as before. The location is amazing, a lot of history, nice staff and great soundings. the breakfast was amazing and so is the lunch/dinner, if you want to eat in their restaurant. The room was big, comfortable and very clean. Very close to Peles Castle, Sinaia Monastery and city center. We will definitely stay again.

Maybe a little refresh or update on small details would not hurt, in the future. the water was hot, but it took several minutes to heat up. The room is warm, but the heat is turned off early in the morning and only the staff can operate it, turn it back on in the evenings.

Vila Camelia in Sinaia, Romania, is a truly charming and memorable place to stay, offering a delightful mix of history, comfort, and stunning mountain scenery. The villa’s classic architecture and vintage decor add an old-world charm that makes guests feel like they've stepped back in time. Spacious rooms with lovely views of the Carpathian Mountains make it a peaceful and relaxing retreat. The garden areas are particularly inviting, perfect for enjoying a morning coffee or unwinding in the fresh air with the sound of nature all around. However, it’s worth noting that morning coffee is only available after 8:00 AM, which may be a slight inconvenience for early risers. While we thoroughly enjoyed the ambiance and unique character of Vila Camelia, there were a few small areas for improvement. The staff, though professional, could have been a bit more warm and welcoming, which would add an even more personal touch to the experience. We did encounter occasional hot water issues, which were a minor inconvenience but didn't affect our stay too much. The breakfast, while the same each day, is still varied enough to offer something for every taste, with a good range of options that make mornings enjoyable. However, we noticed a few minor cleanliness and maintenance details. One morning, we found a dirty fork at breakfast, which suggested a need for a bit more attention to detail in the dining area. Additionally, the bathroom door in our room had a small crack and didn’t lock fully, which affected privacy slightly. Overall, Vila Camelia is a unique and charming place that offers guests a tranquil escape into nature and history. With a little extra attention to detail, it could be even better, but it’s still a wonderful spot to experience Sinaia’s beauty and peaceful atmosphere.

This vila is from 1884 if I can remember well and its architecture resembels that of Peles Castle. It is truly something else both on the outside and the inside and has a really cozy vibe. The staff was friendly and helpful. It has a pretty diverse breakfast and tasty as well with a variety of teas and sweets. The room in which you eat breakfast is very nice as well with big windows facing outside and a lot of light coming in. The rooms are pretty big and clean. Forgot to mention that we booked a double room and we actually got some kind of appartment on 2 levels with an inside staircase which was really nice. Bedroom upstairs with a dressing and living room with bathroom on the inferior level. Great location as well. It’s a 5-10 minute walk from the railroad station (you have to climb some stairs but other than that it’s really close) and very close to the Dimitrie Ghica park and city center.

The fact that the bathrooms have glass doors which you can see through is a bit strange so I would recommend applying some kind of smart window glass film on these to be able to have privacy.

Full of character old style hotel . Garden and trees around. Decent restaurant with varied menu and some traditional Romanian dishes, and chef happy to discuss my dietary requirements- gluten free bread available . Fantastic buffet breakfast was included and set me up for a day walking in mountains Had a top floor room that was very comfortable and had a lovely large bathroom , very clean. Mini bar fridge handy to store milk etc and coffee and tea facilities in room . Slippers and abundance of thick towels . Easy to find from nearby train station and has its own signpost. Walking distance to Peles Castle.

Interior could be a bit tidier, slightly shabby but in keeping with the character of the building. Reception staff not particularly friendly- restaurant staff better. No information about the area. It rained heavily during my visit and the steep cobbles around the street can be slippery .

We booked this hotel, because it seemed to have an old world charm. In reality, it looked just like the photos online and we were not disappointed. We had a large room at the front of the hotel, with a balcony. The room could be used as a family room, as it had a sofa bed as well, but we stayed there as a couple. The floors creaked a little, but this added to the charm. We did not hear any other guests or staff from our room, so soundproofing is good. Bed was large and comfy. The views from the balcony were lovely and there were chairs to sit on too.

There was no plug in bath or sink. The bath had a showerhead on the wall above it, but there was no shower curtain, so we had to use it as a handheld unit, to prevent water from going on the floor. We were only there for two nights, so not a problem for us, but not the easiest way to shower.

Old retro style beautiful vila. Reception guy had difficulty in communicating in English. Rooms were comfortable. There is no AC so can be an issue for few, however we kept the windows open for natural cool breeze. Breakfast buffet was delicious with good options. There is a cute cat staying in the vila premises which was adorable. Location is 10 mins walk from the station & close by to all attractions. Overall wonderful stay to feel old world charm.

We had a balcony overlooking the mountains and the resort. It was lovely! If you are an animal lover, you will be delighted by the local cats who turn up at breakfast on the terrace, are very sweet and gentle and even venture into your room. All kinds of birds were singing in the trees, we saw a hawk as well. And on the way to Poiana Brasov we saw deer out the train window. No bears encounters, but hey, maybe next time. :)

The tourists information office was closed, but the locals were friendly and helped us find the Villa.

Beautiful and enchanting place to stay that was designed by the architects of the Peles Castle. Had a room with a lovely balcony view. The breakfast was superb with a wide variety of options for meat-eaters and vegetarians alike. Everything was so affordable too what the quality of the accommodations. Short walk to the city center and just a stone's throw away from the monastery and a few minutes drive from the Peles Castle.

Parking was a little tight but that is expected given the location close to city center and the monastery.

Loved the room, the location and the food. We had breakfast included and I really appreciated the cakes. I have really missed home-made cakes, they were absolutely delicious 😋 The staff was really nice, helped us with info regarding how to get to the ski slopes. It's a bit far, you have to take the bus, but we didn't mind. The villa is really close to the center and the park. You can go on foot to certain main attractions like the casino, the Royal train station, The white church, etc.

The floor was creaky and you could hear people talking outside the door and there was also a baby on the same floor as us, I think. There was almost no soundproofing whatsoever. But it is an old building, we didn't mind since we stayed only for the weekend.
