Unbelievable hospitality from all staff members, food was delicious, drinks were always cold and made well, entertainment team made each day unforgettable with games and live shows at night, perfect for couples as most guests are there with a partner celebrating honeymoons or anniversary’s.

It is a long and rough drive (2hrs) from the international airport, although there is a helicopter shuttle offered that cuts it down to 15 minutes but it will cost extra. We also felt some of the restaurants especially dessert could have stayed open slightly later. The closing times coincide with the nightly show times making it difficult to enjoy both.

Resort was very nice. Food excellent with plenty of choice. Staff were generally good and friendly. Rooms were adequate but not outstanding. Grounds of resort were immaculate. Beach and waterspouts also very good.

Very disappointed that you had to get up ridiculously early to secure a sunbed with a shade. This was so annoying as we were getting up earlier on holiday than we do at home. Also a lot of reserved beds were then left unused all day. Be good for Sandals to stop this practice and find a system which stops so much angst and moaning from their guests.

Great location, fabulous settings with gorgeous beach. Very friendly staff who will do everything to please the customers.

Proximity to the sea in a beautiful location. Comfortable rooms, never feeling crowded.

Absolutely nothing

Property kept very clean. Staff friendly and accommodating. Shuttle service to and from UVF was really appreciated.

1. No variety for breakfast- same menu for the 4 days we were there. 2. Staff took every opportunity to try to upsell additional services to us, of course, at an additional cost. 3. Lobby bar hours very limited- should be opened earlier for guests who do not want to be by the noisy pool bar. 4. Had to pay in full ahead of arrival, with the only option being non-refundable. Does not sit well among a post-pandemic traveller.

Our first stay at Sandals The Grand in 2018 was much better. Staff were inconsistent in their treatment of us. The business centre was closed so you can’t print out your Travel pass documents. Our booking for Gordon’s restaurant was never entered. We ended up waiting for 20 minutes before they decided to give us a table. The restaurant was not crowded. A staff member refused to serve me a coconut on the beach. She said the coconuts are way past the bar. I could go on. Alcoholic drinks are watered down. Prosecco is terrible served warm.

good facilities and so many options for activities etc Plenty of choices for food and all tasted very good well designed layout of the resort, never felt overcrowded

Room amenities were ok, body wash etc wasn’t replenished. generally staff were very friendly but occasionally some were abrupt and felt like we were an inconvenience when asking questions or clarifying anything.

This was a special occasion and was noted at the time of booking, but nothing special was done by the staff to make us feel that we were important

Not much to like actually… except the maid was lovely..

Very tired around our swim up room and that was overpriced too! Swim up from where? its just a room that has a pool outside… anyway needed some TLC. This type of hotel really wasn’t for us - it was more like a spring break party… We should have guessed being all inclusive but it really was just wall to wall drinkers from 10am. The bars and beach restaurants closed at 5 or 6 as the majority had left after a busy day flexing their elbow! They boasted of having 12 restaurants… but most are little cafes serving the same thing and the a la carte Restaurants were so busy that we managed to get a reservation on one night out of 5. Even then we cancelled and went to stay at another hotel further down the island. Learned a lesson. But if you want wall to wall drinking and all inclusive you can go to better places for away under half the price!
