The resort was in a beautiful location and the staff were very attentive. The included breakfast was excellent with a wide choice of food. The pool area was large with many places to sit and lie. The beach provided access to the ocean with fish and coral to be seen. The food choices for lunch and dinner were wide and varied. The theme nights such as the seafood buffet were good value and gave even more food choices.

The room we had was described as Ocean view. However the main view was of the adjacent building giving poor privacy to them and us. The ocean could be seen from the balcony. The TV reception and choice of channels was poor as was the Internet which kept dropping out. The kayaking equipment was in very poor condition. Everything that could be be broken or missing was broken or missing. When I asked to use a kayak I was given an old paddle and PFD and pointed to the kayak rack. At the AGA Reef resort the kayak was taken to the water's edge for me and the kayak was in excellent condition.

The staff were amazing! The resort itself, stunning! Having their own private beach is a bonus for days you do not want to leave the resort. Comfortable and spacious rooms. Breakfast is an added bonus. Must have when booking. Great selection. Food at the resort itself was really good, however, abit on the expensive side compared to dinning local. When dinning at the restaurant, even water is required to be purchased, so best to take your own. Recommend paying as you go at the resort to easier at the end. We had someone charge something to our room, but since we were paying as we went, that was the only charge and was able to get it waived.

The cleaning staff not replacing items they take from the room when cleaning. Each time we had to chase up about getting a bath math, face cloth and sometimes even towels.

Beautiful place to stay with lots of things to do

The customer service needs to step up. They were all lovely but lacked initiative. You could be standing there for a while either at reception the restaurant or bar and you had to wave or interrupt. It would be good also if they walked around the pool more to take food and drink orders

The staff are fabulous and activities planned on a daily basis are good fun. Beach area was fantastic for safe snorkelling with loads of fishes to see. The gardens around the property are beautifully maintained. Taxis arrive quickly at the property and it is a quick trip into Apia from the resort. Breakfast buffet was good!

When booking, the price given was in NZ dollars which when I booked was then changed into US dollars. When I actually paid the deposit and paid at the premises, the price was in Samoan Tala so with all the different exchanged rates, the price that booking.com was advertising ended up being about $500 more. We stayed in the 2 bedroom villa which was fantastic.... only thing lacking from the villa is a full length mirror! Would be good if the resort provided a free shuttle into town a couple of times a day.

Location is fantastic, pool is lovely, staff are friendly, restaurant food was generally of a high standard and the activities were a great experience. I would highly recommend doing the activities if you stay here as they are awesome staff and they will teach you a lot about Samoan culture.

The restuarant/bar are rather expensive. Some of the staff seem much more experienced than others and therefore some staff are not particularly helpful. Expect long waits at the bar when they get busy.

customer service staff especially for the bar and restaurant seem to have an issue with being professional with other Samoans. The service was late, was being ignored and spoken to like I didn’t know what I was on about. then the settling of the bill was a hassle because there were two people handling one bill.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Taumeasina. The staff were exceptionally polite, helpful, and friendly. We would like to express our sincere gratitude to Pesamino Moli, who consistently went above and beyond to ensure our utmost comfort and satisfaction. The facilities were of a good standard, and we particularly enjoyed the pool area. However, we would prefer that the pool be situated further away from the restaurant area. The only minor issue we had was a leak in our air conditioning unit. Despite this, the overall experience was exceptional. Our stay was 2 nights, 3 days,think it was $1045NZD we made the most of all the resources there, Everything about this place is absolutely incredible, were greeted with a nice cold drink and lei, then hopped on our buggy to be transported to villa 4, short walking distance from reception. Plenty of parking. The restaurant staff were outstanding, so kind, friendly and always happy, love how they always asked if we myself, hubs and 3 boys were OK. Our aircon was dripping water so I called reception and maintenace team showed up 5mins later. Called reception later bcos the tv remote wasnt working lol man showed up in less than 10mins. We took so many pxt and videos i can not recommend thus resort enought. ABSOLUTELY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!We were looked after so well and promised will return for a longer stay. Faafetai lava Taumeasina resort you all deserve a payrise! 🫶

Lovely staff, Full breakfast was amazing, beach is much better than expected with a marine reserve and snorkling (at high tide) straight outside. Great to be able to walk around the island for exercise too. We loved our stay.

Rooms were not made up everyday, and when they were it was often mid afternoon when we wanted to be back in the room. They did a great job when they did it but communicating some consistency ie rooms made up between 10-12 or something may have helped plan our day.

Absolutely everything. Facilities were amazing, we stayed in one of the apartments on the lower level. Had aircon in each bedroom and living space. Outdoor area with outdoor furniture. Washer and dryer as well as clothesline. Cooking facilities. Fridge and pantry. Dishwasher. Best staff in Samoa, you are seriously treated with the best care here. Very clean. Food was great. Had great activities on and live entertainment was beautiful. Had a playground for the kids. Kids pool.

Need to advertise their activities a bit better, we missed the first 2 days. The wait for room service was 2 hours, but it was worth it food was amazing.
