The resort seems to be focussing on getting the basics right at the present time and it's pretty successful. There is a beautiful beachfront, a nice pool, and lovely green surroundings. Service is friendly. The rooms are large, comfortable, and clean. You can refill your water bottle with filtered water. 26 tala transfer to Apia. 16 tala transfer to Falelolo airport.
There are (currently) no water sports activities or equipment. One meal out of 4 was a little underwhelming. Music from the pool was a little on the loud side.

All was great! Nice staff and comfortable bed
I booked 2 nights to spend my birthday and I didn't receive any discount or at least a small attention. I work in a 4 star hotel and we always give a bottle of wine with cake or cheese plate as an attention(the guest can choose). It was a little bit disappointing coming from a 5 star hotel, but I understand is not staff fault, maybe it can be a good thing to improve :)

We loved the grounds, the gym, the spa and the pool / beach area. We enjoyed how quiet it was. The staff accommodated us needing an extra kettle for the room for our baby bottles.
We were occasionally told different things by different members of staff. One member tried to charge us for ice and no one else ever mentioned a charge. There was a rat on the beach which we understand can’t be helped.

Closely located to the airport, the hotel itself was very quiet which was a selling point to us before we were heading into town. The staff were all so welcoming. We had 2 rooms booked (2 adults with 4 kids 7,5,3,3) and they were side by side but also large enough that we could all sleep in 1 room or alternate. The aircon in the rooms were set perfectly aswell, normally at any hotel we stay at, it always upsets our sinuses but these rooms were great. Ground Floor level was awesome too especially with kids and the accessibility to just walk out to the pool or beach.
The menu could do with a little bit of a change up but if you aren't staying longer than 6 days than you would get enough variety I think.

Close to airport and ferry - good for arrivals and departures at odd times. Grounds were beautiful and well kept. Most staff were friendly. Children LOVE the wifi.
We had bad advice from the staff about rebooking for end of trip stay. I tried to book through reception and they said “just book online”. This resulted on an mis-booking of dates online and inability to correct because of bad internet service on the island. The resort manager was uncompromising on a refund for the incorrect night (because my cancelation didn’t completely go through), so we ended up paying twice for one night even though the resort was clearly under booked and didn’t need the room for other guests. Money grabbing in low season really.

The location was very convenient. The pool and resort grounds were excellent, beautiful condition. Breakfast was excellent, worth the cost. Rooms are very comfortable, private, and all of them have good views. (There are no bad rooms at this hotel due to the architectural layout) But they are showing age.
The cost of food and drinks was high compared to other resorts. The lunch / dinner menu could improve as this suffered from too large a range on the menu with too many things done average rather than being more local focused and inspired. No water sports equipment you have to bring your own. Rooms are large well fitted out and accepttable quality but starting to get a little tired and some deffered maintenance evident. (Same fittings as when I last visited in 2014)

The level of hospitality here was absolutely fantastic. Everyone was friendly and went above and beyond to make our stay pleasant and perfect. The staff really made the stay. For example, our electric kettle stopped working and we notified the staff as we went out for the morning. By the time we'd returned, the issue had been completely resolved. The facilities were great as well -- the rooms were spacious and comfy, and the AC kept things at a comfortable temperature. The breakfast buffet was fabulous! We were often so full we'd just skip lunch and eat an early dinner. The cultural show on the Friday night was also a must-see. The pool was well-maintained and clean, and the beaches were lovely. We also used the gym and sauna almost everyday, which was also a wonderful amenity. My wife went to the spa for a massage which she really enjoyed.

Breakfast is included and has a wide variety of choices. Lunch and dinner is available and uses the same menu for both; you can find it online. Great pool, lovely beaches, warm water and sunshine! Clean sheets and towels every day. There are short walks close by including one to the ferry terminal. Great air-conditioning. Take your phone with Google Chromecast to connect to the TV. Exceptional service.
The hotel is getting a little tired, drains were blocked, dirt piled up in the sliding door runner, scratched paint, overuse of sealant to stop leaks, the usual stuff. The room smelled a little musty on arrival but this cleared up after a day or so.

The best part would have to be waking up to the sound of the waves, birds, and looking out to the most beautiful ocean was pure magic. The private and remote setting of the resort was peaceful and amazing - perfect for slowing down and soaking in the island life. The amazing buffet breakfast to wake up to is such a great offer and I highly recommend including with your booking. Also having the gym there for a quick workout is awesome.
Slow Service at Times We had to wait a bit before our room was ready and the service at the restaurant with waiting on food was a bit slow - but nothing to be too concerned about. Just got with the flow and enjoy it all.

We visited with my sister's family and ours which consisted of 4 adults, 5 young adults aged 23, 21.5-, 20-, 18- and 17-year olds. The meals which included breakfast was great. It was a buffet and had a great range of choice. The omlette station was a hit and very popular. We had all our dinners at the resort. It was true what others were saying that there were no other restaurants nearby to go out for dinner. People also said the meals weren't that great at the resort which we did not find at all. All our meals were so nice, and we did not have one meal that we did not enjoy - complements to the chef! The resort itself is well maintained and beautiful. The pool area was really nice. We spent a lot of time at the beach as the water was warmer compared to the pool. We actually extended our stay by a few days which was no issue at all. I did have an issue with my Marriott membership, but the staff fixed that for me with no hassles. Upon leaving at 4am to catch our plane our taxi was late (the staff had ordered the taxi the day before for us). The front desk kept calling the taxi to see where he was. In the end another staff member offered to drop us to the airport in his own car which he did not need to do - unfortunately, I did not get his name but a huge shout out to him. Overall, a great resort and would have no hesitation staying again!
Real problem I know but having more sun lounges at the pool would be handy as there weren't that many.
