It is a very nice hotel in the southern part of Upolu island, Samoa 🇼🇸, which, by the way, is the best part of Upolu island. Our room was brand new, very spacious, and very clean. What I particularly liked was the outdoor shower. It was very cool 😎.

I did not like the fact that there was no WiFi in the rooms. In such a hotel (close to a 5 stars hotel), there should be free WiFi in the rooms. It creates a bad impression among customers and does not do justice to the hotel.

The staff were lovely and helpful. They helped us hire a car and Darren was so great to draw a map for us to tour around by ourselves. the free breakfast was great mix of western and some traditional foods. Mexican buffet was amazing and the Fia Fia night an absolute must do. The resort is on Such a beautiful beach front and the free use of water equipment was handy. The kids got to snorkel, standup paddle and kayak. The young man helping us with the water sport equipment was also so lovely and helpful. Our room was opposite the pool which was loud when trying relax on the porch but surprisingly sound proof inside the villa. The room was comfortable and the pool and beach was great. The outside shower with warm water was awesome and very well used by us. The good bye song was lovely touch. Overall a fabulous resort.

All restaurants, bar and pool closed at 8 or 9pm and we had nothing to do in the evening. Would be good to have late night bar open or activities.

The breakfast was amazing considering it was free. The service was polite. The activities were perfect. There was very minimal to fault. I would stay here multiple times. Definitely value for money.

There were moments when eating at the restaurant when you could hear the owner yelling at staff, it wasnt very professional nor noce to watch, learn to keep it descrete and not to embarass your staff without the staff your resort wouldnt be as beautiful as it is. Value them.

I loved that it was family friendly. Our room was right next to the kids playground and kids swimming pool which was convenient for us. The room was beautiful and spacious with high ceilings - perfect place to relax after a long day of swimming. I loved that they had dvds you could hire to watch in your room, felt like I was a United Video again lol. The resort is beautiful, makes the drive out worth your time. I would defs go there again.

The family rooms are so far from the reception. There was no phone in the room so every time we needed help or to ask a question, we had to walk all the way to reception. There was also no wifi in the rooms or anywhere else on the resort except in the main restaurant and reception area. The location of the TV in the room was also a bit awkward, it was on the side corner of the main bed, wish it was in a more central location. The cost of washing and drying gave me a heart attack - $60 tala per bag. They provide the laundry bags and it's so small that 2 towels would fill it up.

The location is beautiful The resort is beautiful Staff are amazing

My only issue is the food quality has dropped slightly, I stayed in December 23 and then again August 24 and we noticed a difference in the food quality However on our August trip my dad stayed for his first time and he rated the food highly

Lovely Spa massage, nice pool area, great beach & activities like kayaking, snorkelling; nice restaurant layout & decor; spacious clean rooms. Lovely gardens and layout in a beautiful location. Restaurant, spa, cleaning & grounds staff are polite & friendly. Cold filtered water refill stations are a great idea.

Alot of local produce not available in restaurant eg fresh drinking coconuts, oka or raw fish, banana fritters. Need more welcoming, friendly and engaging reception staff. Nicer music in pool area needed & availability or open times of pool bar is sporadic. No phone or iron in room on arrival (iron was brought in after requested which was good) No bedside lamp.

Loved our stay at Saletoga Sands Resort. The staff were all very friendly and will go out of their way to be helpful. Pool with swim up bar was fantastic. The gardens are beautifully and well looked after. Breakfast is included with your stay and is adequate with changes everyday. Restaurant was good, with a good variety for a weeks stay, with specialty dining nights available. Rooms are a good size and the beds were comfortable, every room has aircon which is a must.

The cleaning staff are a little over enthusiastic and try to get into your rooms early in the morning, but that is my only complaint.

- Friendly staff - great pool and pool bar - slides into the lagoon - Lots of menu options in restaurant (including vegetarian options). - Option of outdoor and indoor shower in en-suite - Kayaks and snorkelling

- bed wasn’t overly comfortable (a bit hard and was 2 beds joined together so you could feel the crack) - No free Wi-Fi - Fale was uncomfortably hot without the air conditioning on (housekeeping would turn aircon off and open windows when servicing the room and it would take a while to cool the room down again upon returning to the room).

Breakfast was a buffet, while expansive, it was the same each day, we got to try different tastes and there were some that became favourites. dinner was excellent. though it was a limited choice on the specific days. this did not cause us any issues as all meals were good and this allowed you to experiment a little as you were unconsciously aware though you may not like the meal but at least it was of good quality. beaches were excellent.

Small issue; I brought my own wine glasses as I find hotels etc usually give tumbler's in the rooms. If the wine glasses were not hidden away they were taken in the clean up process in the mornings. eventually just gave up attempting to get them back :)

We had a truly enjoyable holiday in Samoa, with stunning beaches that were the highlight of our stay. The resort was perfectly situated, offering easy access to the beach and beautiful views. The staff were friendly and helpful, always making sure we had everything we needed. The resort grounds were meticulously maintained, adding to the overall charm of the place. All in all, it was a fantastic experience, and we highly recommend this resort for anyone visiting Samoa.

The villa was very spacious, but it only had one armchair and a desk chair, as shown in the online photos. Ideally, it would have been better to have at least two armchairs or a small two-seater couch. On rainy days, it would have been nice to have a comfortable seating area indoors. Wifi was only available in the reception and restaurant area, not in the rooms.
