This is a very well run establishment. The owner is “hands on” and greets guests. Everywhere is clean and there’s security guards on the gates. Our accommodation was spacious and comfortable. There’s a choice of pools to use. We prefer to self cater so we can try out local eateries. There’s plenty within walking distance but there’s also frequent and inexpensive buses that stop right outside.

I liked everything at Beach View! I usually stay with family when in Barbados but wanted to stay in a hotel for a few days, as I was there for my birthday. I visited two hotels to see what they were like and the vibe at Beach View was immediately so welcoming. I had left booking until the last minute but they were able to accommodate my request for an ocean view room, and the view was absolutely stunning! Everything went smoothly and was so well organised. The little touches (items in the fridge to tie me over, recyclable shopping bag) were much appreciated. Sonia and the rest of the team at reception were wonderful, as was David, who helped me get settled, and I finished my stay with a fantastic massage by Aaliyah. My three-day stay was way too short but I will be back and for longer. Thanks to everyone for helping me to continue my birthday celebrations in the best way!

The location is great, hotel is clean with lot of great restaurants around. It does feel very safe. The service from the hotel is also brillant.

The room was quite dark on the ground floor and a bit noisy at times because of a fast road just next door. Tv in the bedroom was very small. I felt that what we paid for the room was too much VS value. Other buildings are newer and look nicer from the outside

The Beach View Hotel is a fantastic base for exploring Barbados. The apartments are spacious, giving you plenty of room to relax, they’re very well equipped for self catering. It doesn’t feel like a ‘hotel’. You have the choice of dining at the Sugar Apple Café and a little bar had just opened when we were there, complete with a pool table and darts board, which was a nice touch. The staff were super helpful and friendly, always happy to assist. Paynes Bay, just across the road, is a beautiful beach and great for collecting sea glass. You can hire sun loungers and a parasol for $40 BBD or borrow smaller chairs and a parasol from the hotel behind the little shop, which is handy for picking up basic supplies. We also had a grocery pack delivered for our arrival, which made things so much easier after a long journey. There’s plenty of car parking on site, which is ideal if you’re hiring a car to explore the island. The only downside is the very noisy road at the front of the hotel and there’s no real escape from it unless you stay in the duplexes at the back of the site. However, overall, it’s a great place to stay with everything you need for a relaxed and enjoyable trip.

We had an apartment with a great view of the sea and the pool in the grounds. The apartment was well appointed, bathroom could be a bit more modern but nevertheless it was clean, had a powerful shower, always the mark of a good bathroom. Transport by bus into town is easy, fast and cheap. Hole Town has all the shops, bars, cafes etc. Staff on site were very friendly and efficient. The restaurant served great food at a reasonable price. Swimming pools were very good. We didn't see any entertainment on site but not a problem because there is plenty to do at night in the local areas.

IT would be all picky little things....no pool service unless you want to pay for it! Any short-comings though were easily sought elsewhere nearby. We were directly opposite The Cliff restaurant which if you save up enough is worth the lunchtime visit.

Being left to unwind without disturbance. Having a pre ordered basic food pack for starters. Reception staff very efficient very calm and helpful. Rooms cleaned quietly and quickly. Nice team. Access to lovely fresh fish from stall across the road. Pricey but worth it. Ideal for couples or group. Selection of pools just right. Nice to see expansion of site and a possible Spa being built..

Catering standard could be better for costs. Special evening not so special. Would eat outside site for more original variety and quantity.Small portions as if on rations. Better more and you choose than be starving for the price.

My partner and I recently stayed at Beach View hotel and thoroughly enjoyed our trip. The hotel is well-maintained, very clean and reasonably priced for the island. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The room itself was comfortable, particularly the bed and the place felt spacious. The food at the cafe is pretty standard, but useful if you need a quick bite to eat or a spot of lunch. We ended up getting the Reggae bus into Holetown, which was useful for picking up a few essentials/groceries. There is a beach nearby which is nice to visit to watch the sunset and there are several pools which are all well-maintained.

The breakfast is a little average, so they could do with improving that. The hotel is on a busy stretch of road, so it can be a little loud at times.

Stunning, exceptionally clean hotel just across the road from a beautiful beach. The apartment/suites are huge. Fully equipped kitchen with complimentary bagels, butter, jam, tea, coffee, milk, water & and small bottle of rum punch on arrival. Car rental on site was super handy. 3 pools with ample sun beds. Staff are super friendly & work tirelessly to ensure their guests are having the best stay. Thank you Beach View Hotel!

It’s not a resort . You are left very much to your own, which we loved . So if you are looking for waiter service from your sun lounger, this hotel is not for you.

The suite was exceptional. It exceeded my expectations. Natalie at the reception was very helpful in helping my wife and I plan excursions for the time we spent there. She gave her honest opinions and provided excellent recommendations and customer service. Housekeeping was professional and also ensured that we were never out of supplies. The suite was super-clean everyday. The view was beautiful as well. I am definitely coming back to Beach View when I visit Barbados. Look out for me!

Amazing location right on the beach. 3 lovely pools, one that was particularly good for little kids as it had a shallow area. The villa was spacious, with a lovely patio area for al fresco eating. We liked the fact they provided glass bottled water to be refilled, and reusable shopping bags for the supermarket to be eco friendly. The little cafe by the main pool was great for ice creams and milkshakes, and the restaurant served a lovely breakfast. The staff couldn't have been more friendly and helpful if they tried, they were wonderful.

The gym is quite small, which didn't bother us but it's quite limited.
