Jabal Omar Hyatt Regency is at the top of my list, mainly because of its prime location—direct access to Gate 79, which is perfect for Umrah pilgrims & ladies. Unlike the Clock Tower area, which tends to be overcrowded, this hotel offers a more peaceful atmosphere, making it a comfortable choice. It’s about a 10-minute walk to Masjid al-Haram, which is convenient without being overly busy. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, even with an extra bed, making it a great option for families. Another big plus is the attached shopping mall, which makes finding food super easy. Overall, a fantastic stay with convenience, comfort, and a great location for Umrah pilgrims!

The breakfast amazing 🤩 the cleaner Hassan is the best ,comfort is great and mall outside is fantastic clock tower view is amazing I would recommend this great hotel .my son is best friends with Hassan rated a gazillion stars Big window amazing view ممتاز As soon as you walk out of hotel you will see haram lots of restaurants brilliant and lots more , 5 star hotel Will definitely not forget experience and definitely Hassan This review is written by hamza

I love everything about this hotel, first time checking in makkah hotel with 5 star service. The check in process was so smooth, we arrive during zohor and the receptionist told me to check in after zohor and he kept his word even though check in time was at 4 pm. He gave me room at 1 pm. One more thing i like about this hotel is the security, the security guard at ground floor only allow hotel guest in with room key card. The location is only 1 minute to masjidil haram. When we checkout, there was a taxi service at lobby with good price to jeddah airport

Location. Choice of food at breakfast area even though there are far too less number of staff in breakfast area for the number of guests they serve. Hardworking staff in every department.Extended check out time offered to us was very useful.

Unfriendly stressed check in with a long queue, no provision for welcome drink or even water while we were waiting for check in, you couldn't use restrooms at lobby level till you check in and even after checking out while waiting for taxi to airport unless you keep individually pestering the concierge desk. Usual issue of language barrier unless you speak fluent Arabic.

The room was comfortable , clean and very fresh.

The only issue I had was Upon initial check in was told we are early and the rooms are not ready. Then around an hour later was told rooms will be ready but I will have to pay cash as the card machine was not working. then was told I can pay part cash part card which was strange as the machine apparently was not working. I had 3 rooms booked for a week so was not going to have that amount of cash on me. I felt like I was being scammed which I would not expect from a prestigious hotel chain. Later on the machines miraculously were working and the payment was made easily.

I requested two rooms for a family of five; I was accommodated in two separate rooms but connected by one external bed, I was provided with an extra bed within ten minutes of my arrival, the service worker was also keen on the cleanliness of the two rooms during the four nights I spent; the reception was friendly from one of the women, as for the breakfast, this is another story that cannot be described, it had many types and the place was spacious, and the cleanliness and service were really distinctive, and by the way the breakfast table is what encouraged me a lot to book in this hotel years ago!

Perfection is precious as the saying goes, and despite all the positives in the hotel; but the prices of ironing clothes seem expensive to me, I hope to review that, and the delay in responding to the call on most of the services is delayed, sometimes I do not find an answer so I have to call several times! Putting some bottles of water upon entering the first night is very important, I think it was available but on the last reservation I did not find water in the room, thank you

I loved the overall cleanliness of the hotel and the fresh smelling hallways , excellent helpful staff who go out go of the way to help you . The breakfast was wonderful with lots of different choices and very delicious.

After checking out when we are waiting in the lobby till our flight time , we should have easy access to bathrooms . I had to contact the concierge each time I had to go to the bathroom. I wish it was easier .

Expensive parking fee.

We were upgraded to a junior suite which was very spacious. The breakfast was amazing with very good variety. The hotel location is just a few steps away from the Haram which makes it very convenient.

Everything was perfect. However, during the busy breakfast time they were taking little longer to serve the tea and coffee which was a little irritating.
