First of all, the location of Mandarin Alshamal is great. It is central and easily accessible to most of the major areas of Riyadh. It's walking distance to Hayat Mall which has an enormous Danube supermarket which carries a wide variety of food, drinks and homewares. Secondly, the place is extremely clean and spacious. I lost the TV remote once and had to pull back the cushions of the couches - there wasn't one bit of dust. The rooms are a generous size, including the kitchen - which has a lot of storage space. The bathroom is large and there is even a dressing room. And really importantly, it is quiet - SO quiet. We slept so well. And another important thing, I don't know if it's a non-smoking property, but we never smelled any smoke from any rooms, which we have smelled in more expensive places. The bed is very comfortable. The maintenance men and front desk are unbelievably helpful - all the time. Nothing was too much for them to do. Nothing. It is a really great place. I feel so lucky that a friend found it on line. The photos do NOT do the property justice at all. It's so much nicer in person than it appears online.

These comments should NOT cause people to not book here. I just think that these little things could truly bring this property to a solid 4 star. 1. There could be a bit more art on the walls and a couple of lamps in the bedroom, on the desk and in living room. 2. The kitchen could have more supplies, like tea towels, mixing bowls, a grater, teapot, etc and more tableware and cutlery than for just 2 people. 3. The refrigerator should be full sized. 4. A dresser would be helpful too.

no view through the windows, which are done with blurred glass. no light switch close to the bed, but on the opposite side of the bedroom. But nothing really that annoying.

The hotel boasts a favorable location, and I particularly enjoyed the presence of indoor amenities such as a swimming pool, tennis table, and pool table. The establishment maintains a high standard of cleanliness, and the staff's responsiveness greatly contributed to a positive experience. Also the appartement and room size is very convenient

New building and new facilities

Staff was bad the night one When we reached first they sent my family towards the room meanwhile i was parking my vehicle but then the person told first i need to pay before i get my room key and my family was waiting outside the room during that time so they need to work on their hospitality The person at reception was so rude

Location was excellent. It was located in a central location, close to exhibition centers. Ample parking space. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Apartment was spacious and well-designed, with large sitting room that was ideal for office work.

Minor issue: breakfast could have been better, with more options of meals.
