Everything, there is nothing to not like about the hotel. The staff is extremely courteous and friendly. We had the best room in the hotel and it was worth every penny. If the weather would have been good, we could have seen the entire mountain range from our room itself. It is a very very very short walk to the Mall. Also, if you take a shortcut through the fancy market through the alley beside the entrance, you end up right in front of Kev's. If you are looking for a 3-star experience without paying for one, this is it! Couldn't have asked for anything better. Also, top notch cleanliness, cleaned my rooms every day. The bathroom is also well-maintained and everything worked perfectly. The food is also awesome from their restaurant.

Well on the last day, my mom wanted to eat eggs and so she ordered 2 omelettes. First they didn't deliver it. When asked, they then mentioned they couldn't arrange for it. So we just asked them to give boiled eggs. But dear lord, they charged 150/- for 2 boiled eggs. That is definitely an overkill. But everything else, top notch!

Room was spacious and clean. View was great. Staff was kind. Location is nice. Close to the mall road- walkable. Booked via booking. Com. INR 3000 for two people with breakfast Inc. It was a great deal because the room was large size and spacious and clean. Same with washroom for room 601-6th floor. Balcony had view of Kanchenjunga mountain on clear sunny days . Phinzo at restaurant and Milan at reception was great to deal with. They were the only problem solvers and absolutely deserve a hike and promotion for the food hospitality they give. Rest others at reception didn't bother to solve our issue. The room doesn't have a fridge and hot water timing is there - morning and evening. 6 :30 am to 10 am and 6:30-9 pm. Room service is good and quick and prompt. The hotel is at good location. Very close to mall road. The road right next to hotel downward sloping is best shortcut to go to new market from where we get sharing cabs. Overall, no compliants. 2-3 days are sufficient to spend in Darjeeling to explore all the places. Car drop and pick up can be done at jai complex

We stayed for a longer period in this hotel and its definitely a family friendly hotel and near to major tourist destinations in Darjeeling. Most of the places were on walking distance. All basic amenities were present inside the room and even their in room dining were best and at reasonable priced.

Everything was great but we faced frequent disruption in the wifi provided. So, don’t rely on the hotel wifi if you are planning to work on vacation. Kindly note we have also faced network and data issues with our Airtel sim, but Jio services worked really fine.

This hotel offers a wonderful experience with its impressive amenities. The staff members are incredibly charming and helpful, making you feel welcome from the moment you arrive. Even the receptionists go above and beyond to assist guests. The on-site restaurants and cafes provide delicious food and a pleasant atmosphere. It's a great place to relax and unwind. I can't wait to return for another visit.

I've noticed some uncomfortable staring from male staff members, particularly in the cafeteria and restaurant. It makes my partner and me feel self-conscious. While I understand that people look at others, the intensity and duration of these stares feel inappropriate. It creates an unwelcome atmosphere. I hope management can address this issue discreetly. A more welcoming environment would be appreciated by all guests. This kind of behavior can be quite unsettling.

Hotel staffs are well mannered. Room is good and clean. Same room delivered as shown in the image. Some renovation works need to be done at our room 410 .Location wise it is very good. 5mnt walking distance from mallroad.

Rooms are very cold. May be insulation not done properly. You can get room heater but need to pay 300 per day for that. And there is no hair dryer.

Breakfast was great. The options and varieties were excellent. Indian, Chinese, and Continental breakfasts were all available. Good amount of fruit selections, steamed vegetables, all types of breads and cereals were available. Had a special seat for my 9 month old child. The staffs in the restaurant were very cooperative and served well. They gave many options for breakfast.

I can't remember anything negative. But as is usual the problem of space in the hilly terrain, the hotel could have done much better with a parking area and drive-in space.

What a find. Wonderful room, bed and bathroom. A view over Kanchenjunga, staff who are wonderful and a fantastic restaurant. The location is perfect - halfway between the Toy Train and Mall Rd. Absolutely fantastic value.

I love the overall vibe and atmosphere of the hotel. The staff were great and always ready to help. Always choosing Jai Hotel over any other!

The only thing i didnt like about it was the smell of the room as we first entered there. The smell wasnt very pleasant.

The cleanliness was spot on. All amenities were present. Location is also very good. The cab from Siliguri to Darjeeling dropped us just in front of the hotel

Breakfast was alright. Location little congested. One way road. Otherwise it is fine
