Hotel Review: La Villa Langkawi Our stay at La Villa Langkawi was absolutely amazing and exceeded all our expectations. From the moment we arrived, the experience was flawless. The room was spotless and beautifully designed, making it feel like our own little oasis. What really stood out to us was the incredible hospitality. We arrived quite late, long after the kitchen had closed, but the staff still went out of their way to provide us with food. That thoughtful gesture meant so much to us after a long journey. The personal touches throughout our stay made it unforgettable. Every member of the staff was so kind and attentive—it felt like they genuinely cared about making our experience special. One of our favorite features was the direct access to the pool from our room. Waking up and stepping straight into the pool was such a treat and added so much to the overall experience. La Villa Langkawi truly offers a perfect combination of luxury, comfort, and heartwarming service. We left feeling completely pampered and can’t wait to come back again. Staff were very accommodating and looked after us really well - thanks for booking us tours and bringing breakfast directly to the room for us to enjoy! The room was amazing, the bed was huge and the pool was huge. There were plenty of snacks in the fridge for you to help yourselves to and lots of bathroom additions such as toothbrushes in case you forget anything. We had spa treatments which were brilliant. The bar in the resort was brilliant, albeit quiet as not many guests staying when we were there. Would highly recommend and breakfast was delicious.

Lack of black lipton tea bags and fresh milk (a must when we’re British!) but didn’t stop us going out to buy some ourselves.

Our Stay at La Villa is made wonderful with the whole Team taking really good care of us. We were welcome by the Team at the entrance including Mr Dave the Hotel consultant. We felt pampered. Azzat the housekeeper, took great care of every little things we needed during our stay. We were really grateful to have him. Shairi made our breakfast experience at La Yang wonderful by sharing his stories with us and introducing La Villa to us. This hotel is perfect for our family of 5. We love the facilities in the house especially the pool. Everything was clean and comfortable. Breakfast is really good! Highly recommended for your next family vacation!!

Toiletries can be upgraded. The shampoo and bath soap are not really fragrant. It’s a pity. Owner can consider changing them to a better quality.

The breakfast in the room was such a great add on and helped our day run smoothly. The staff were so friendly and helpful. They helped us plan our days and gave ides for sight seeing. Izzat was ever so helpful and went the extra mile to help and support. He was very efficient when we needed anything and the whole team made us feel so welcome

Understandably, we weren't able to get an early check in, which meant we were waiting for 3 hours for our room to be ready. Also, there was no Tiramisu :(

I liked everything about La Villa, We were picked up from the airport by a private chauffeur, greeted by the amazing team at the Villa lobby and was offered a welcoming drink and extra complementaries. The villa was 10/10, Because design and location, very spacious and had a nice nature look too it which suited the Island vacation theme. Our private villa was very spacious and secluded. Very quiet villa which was perfect for our needs. Hotel offered us free pick up and drop off to the local beach which was very convenient and nice. Breakfast was good, although the options weren’t the best. And portions of some dishes were small. Would expect a better breakfast at that price point. Overall, We enjoyed our stay and the amazing hospitality just made it 10 times better. Would definitely come back in the near future.

The staff here are excellent, well trained and happy; and it shows. It shines trough every experience making our stay at the property a most enjoyable experience.

They cannot boil the perfect egg (a joke we had with the staff). It was a joke but their response was to take it seriously and before we finished breakfast they had at the table three eggs boiled for 3, 4, and 5, minutes. so the next day my egg would be perfect. The point is no where else would that have happened. A true indication of just how much effort they were willing to put in to make their guests happy.

Beautiful villa with ample space, 2 TVs and a generous complimentary mini-bar. The staff were lovely and extremely friendly, making you feel at home. They provide a WhatsApp number for the reception desk which you can call/message and the responses were mostly instant. They also offered a range of activities in Langkawi through third-party providers (mangrove tour, island hopping, etc) and booked these on our behalf, which was convenient and saved time in looking around for different providers. The breakfast was quite good, with a range of options (not a buffet but you place your order by 7pm the night before from an a la carte menu), and the all-day menu was great too - good food at reasonable prices and promptly delivered to your room. We did not use the spa but the options on offer seemed well-priced.

The villa was showing some signs of wear and tear (paint peeling off the walls, inner walls of the private pool were decolourised in places, etc.). The management should take care to maintain these aspects of the property as they are noticeable. Some of the living room furniture in the villa was different to that pictured on booking.com and other sites. I guess they’ve replaced the furniture over time, and whilst still generally comfortable, online images should be updated to give an accurate picture. Staff sometimes made mistakes in our breakfast/room service orders. Nothing major and this is probably due to the language barrier among some members of staff. But not a big deal, the food was great!

Fantastic service with wonderful facilities. The staff were knowledgeable and provided a driver to town and restaurants. The villa was incredible with a wonderful private pool.

For the luxury villa, the kitchen cupboards were falling apart and old but we only used the fridge. Difficult to achieve a hard boiled egg, always under cooked.

The villa is very well Maintained and kept as clean as possible.

Acceptable and Understand that it is close to nature but there are really too many geckos. But after I visited a clinic where there’s so many fries even sticking to the doors. I’m appreciating the geckos in the resort. Haha
