Happy to have a Hilton Property so close to airport but surprised it definitely did not have the level of amenities of other Hiltons. It reminded me very much of a Super 8. They had a $100 deposit charged to my cc and said it would be refunded after the room was inspected upon my departure and found to be ok. I have no issues with them holding a cc on file for “incidentals” but found it to be odd that my card would actually be charged that fee, which it was. In the morning when I asked at what point it would be refunded I was told within three days. However, it was reasonably comfortable and quiet though was very, very basic…no coffee in room and only a fridge and no microwave and an open clothes hanging rack in the corner (no closet). The desk clerk at check-in, Patricia, was very professional and helpful. Knowing I would arrive very late, through Booking.com messaging, I had previously asked for and was granted a 1 hour late check-out which was helpful and considerate. However, whomever approved my late check out did not note it…so housekeeping knocked on my door and the desk clerk in the morning said there was nothing that said I was good to stay in my room til noon (which I did and had an email saying it was approved to show the clerk). The breakfast was very basic…mostly pasties and cold cereal and yogurt…but there was a Starbucks a block away that I walked to for an egg sandwich.

Some staff attitude was not ok. On the middle night a staff woman came to the 3-rd floor and spoke so very laud at 3am with a neighbor door guest room, we were very patient and only after 1 hour of her conversation we get out from the bed, opened the door and told her if she understand of what she is doing; yes, she said sorry, but she woke up all my family. After the first night we went to the ocean and came back around 4:30 pm and we were so upset to see our room not clean and change towels. I never had any issue with Hilton, but this was very upsetting trip.

This is a remodeled property. They did a very nice job of remodeling. This was a horrible property - downright nasty. Big improvement to the neighborhood. We were very cautious about staying there because of the past reputation. We were very surprised. We will stay there again when we are in town. We felt safe. Not a lot of guests, so breakfast was based on small numbers. It was better than nothing. We did like the coffee and the fact that it was available around the clock. Maintenance staff and maids did a great job.

Staff is the best part of the whole state. The rooms are clean, and everything was so simple and readily available. Your staff deserves to be shouted out.

Only thing I can say is more protein options in the breakfast. Seems like everything is carbs, and it’ll be simpler to add, maybe frozen meats or something with cheese for those of us who are carb sensitive or on keto diet preferences?

I like that they had elevators comfortable beds big rooms I liked everything about it. Nice breakfast and located around places you can go out to eat too as well. I've been going to these Hilton hotels but this one here is great for an overnight stay if you're going to go on a cruise it's affordable and it's a nice facility.

Nothing that I disliked at all

STAFF WAS GREAT. LOCATION WAS CONVENIENT TO HIGHWAY AND EAST TO GET INTO CENTRAL NORFOLK (NOT TOO FAR FROM VA BEACH). IN WALKING DISTANCE TO THE GROOVY CATFISH - EXCELLENT FOOD. FOOD LION AND CVS NOT TOO FAR. IT WAS RECENTLY RENOVATED TO A NEW HILTON CONCEPT CALLED "SPARK"

THE DOORS TO THE ROOM COULD BE A BIT MORE SOUND PROOF. BUT IT WAS NOT A NOISY LOCATION.

Very modern and clean

The breakfast bar. Didn’t have a warm breakfast like scrambled eggs, sausage, bread variety, waffles etc. I’ve stayed at way less expensive hotels and their breakfast bar are amazing.

Property was very well maintained and comfortable sleeping. Breakfast was continental but has enough to choose from for breakfast. Well definitely use them again.

Nothing, it was much better than I expected. Location was good for what I needed and able to get back and forth without any problems.

The room was very welcoming and clean. The tv even had your name on it. The offered us cookies.

When I first called one of the staff members was very rude. When checking out the staff that was on were very nonchalant and talked amongst themselves as they didn’t want to be bothered with the guest

Convenient and close to stores and various of other businesses. Everything was operable in the room and was very clean with proper illumination.

Breakfast wasn’t Hot. It was just baked goods and low quality cereal. Was unclear about the arrangement. But overall great experience. Peaceful and very quiet.
