The staff was professional and helpful. The morning manager knew us by name within the first day and answered our questions and helped us out when we needed it. She was great. Our room was too small so we arranged to move to a suite. Although this location is older and could use some upgrades and improvements, the suite was clean and the bed amazingly comfortable. The sheets were dreamy and soft. We had a surprisingly great stay here!

Age of the facility and rooms could use refurbishing.

We came to this property after we left another one. We were super tired and irritated, but we got checked in and was the room was great. It was clean and nice cool. In a great location and Starbucks was across the parking lot (huge plus for me lol). They had just had new carpet laid in the halls (need to clean up pieces and vacuum) so there was that smell in the hallway. Decent breakfast each morning, so we were pretty content.

Beds are not comfortable at all. Even my 15 y/o son woke up aching from the hard beds. They definitely need to invest in some new mattresses or toppers for the room we had. Not sure if all rooms are like this, but whoo wee. Breakfast space needs to be bigger. There isn’t enough room for you to sit and to get through to get your food.

My room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was very adequate. Good location near the airport.

Difficulty accessing the airport shuttle. I called ahead to arrange and tho my flight arrived at 9:30 pm (and shuttle service ends at 10 pm) they arranged for me to meet the shuttle driver at 9:45. I was out front waiting by 9:50 (little hold up exiting the plane) but the driver had left. I had to take a cab (for 16.00!!--even tho the hotel is 1.8 miles from the airport). The shuttle driver took me back to the airport in the morning and told me he had been sent at 9:30 the night before and gave up and left the airport by 9:45. I should have booked a hotel with a better shuttle service.

The staff was great! Marcus and Briana were friendly and informative. The bed and pillows were great! The shower was hot and had alot of pressure. The location was around the corner from The Norfolk Premium Outlets and plenty of restaurants. All in all, the location made up for everything that was wrong.

The hotel rooms need updating. They converted the front room of my "2 queen bed suite" into a separate bedroom. There was no sofa or pullout. My bathroom floors had not been swept or mopped because there was hair weave all over it. Noticeable moisture spots tuned into rust along the bathroom door seals. We called down to have someone to look at the back bedroom tv because it wasn't getting any signal. Was told someone would be up. No one came. We figured it out ourselves and fixed it. Someone had set the alarm clock for 7am, so when it went off, it sounded like a fire truck and scared us all to death!! The indoor pool was open. My son stayed for only 15mins because he said it was too cold.

We really enjoyed the pool & the breakfast was not bad at all. I loved the walking distance to the Starbucks.

My room was dirty. I went to get ice and when I returned my Daughter said “mommy the person who stayed here had French fries” and I was confused until she said “mommy there’s French fries behind the couch”. There were also chips which looked like Cheetos on the side under the bed frame

Was pleasantly surprised to see that there was a separate room with one of the beds rather than both beds being next to each other like a typical hotel. Bed had a mattress pad to help make the bed even more comfortable. Staff were very great, helpful, and accommodating. 12pm checkout is also very nice!

Pool was a little smaller than expected, and the water could have been warmer. The towels were also kind of small but they did the job they were supposed to!

I really liked the fact that even though I was traveling with a friend, we had separate spaces. I get up earlier than she does and I didn't have to worry about disturbing her since I was in my room. I also liked having a refrigerator and microwave in the room.

I didn't like that there was a loud noise outside of the hotel; sounded like a fog horn or something, but I don't think that was the hotel's fault.

The breakfast was great and the staff was very kind and friendly. I would definitely recommend. For the money and the location it’s not a bad place.

Looks like it could use some renovation. It’s not horrible but it’s not super great. When we first checked in and headed to the elevator the first thing we saw was a big ass cockroach on the wall. We killed it right away. We waited to see how the room looked before deciding to leave instead. Luckily the room was clean so we dealt with it. Other than that the elevator could use some remodeling and an update to the hotel. But overall that was about it.

We loved the location to everything we needed to do and to our family. We enjoyed our stay and the staff was pleasant.

Our door frame was broken making it stick & hard to open & to lock from inside at night. The bathroom was not clean properly & I had to clean with wash clothes & shower head was broken and spraying water everywhere. Couch was not clean and had food and white stains on it. We were not able to get clean or extra bath towels. We did not get compensated for the things that were wrong😟. We were satisfied with our stay we just got a bad room this time😒.

Convenience to airport and highways

The morning clerk the day we checked out. Her attitude about breakfast was rude since dining was closed for renovations. Instead of saying good morning she said we may not have enough breakfast bags for everyone with an attitude. First they should know how many people are checked to have breakfast for everyone. That was one of the reason we chose to stay in this hotel.
