Excellent place and really nice staff. They've had a change of management so I'm not sure what it was like before, but it's great now. Our room was clean with all the essentials (towels, soap, kettle, desk) and the bed was super comfy. AC worked well and they cleaned the room a few times during our stay. On the top floor is a nice large open space equipped with yoga equipment, fans and lights - great news if you want some space to exercise and stretch! There is a new cafe located next to the pool serving drinks and food which looked nice even though we didn't go there. Location is good - there is a shortcut out the back which takes you to the town in just a few minutes. Staff were friendly and helpful. They took our payment on card which is a rarity around here.

As a solo mature female traveller I found this hotel just what I wanted. It has a nice cool, very clean swimming pool and an outdoor seating area with tables and chairs and sunbeds and a cafe/restaurant open for breakfast lunch and dinner serving some great Indian food and wonderful salad bowls. Even better, on the rooftop is a large covered area you can use for personal workouts and yoga - there are 2 weights benches, some free weights and yoga mats available. It is in a quiet location but only 10 mins walk to the beach and 5 min walk to the main road with shops, restaurants etc. I looked at a few other hotels in the area as I decided to extend my stay but I decided to stay here again - not many ( if any) places have a swimming pool, restaurant and ‘gym’ for this sort of price.

The pool area is very shaded. Personally i would have liked more sunny spots to be able to sunbathe. The ‘path’ to the beach / main road could be improved There were some power cuts during my stay, hence no restaurant or wifi or electricity in the room

It’s in a very tranquil location, close to amenities and a 15 min walk to the beach. There is a restaurant on site with really tasty food for good prices. There is a large rooftop area with gym equipment and space to hang your clothes or just take in the views. All the staff are really friendly and helpful. The pool was always clean and you have a lovely private balcony with views of the stunning nature. We extended our stay because it was so welcoming and peaceful. The bed was large and comfy with ample pillows and the room was very clean and spacious.

For the money I paid North39 is an exceptional accomodation. Clean room with private bathroom, stable wifi, good AC, fridge and electric kettle in the room, clean swimming pool surrounded by the palm trees. Lovely. Quiet side street but easy access to shops and street food. 15 min walk to the beach in the monsoon season. Initially, I have booked the accommodation for 3 days but extended for another 10. Team of great people working there, kind, smiley, very helpful with everything. Thank you, Manager Armand and the team, for making my first time in India such a pleasant experience. Thank you.

My days in North 39 were just lovely! The rooms were big, clean and comfortable. The outside area is amazing, son rounded by nature. The pool is big and it was always clean. It is super peaceful, so I could work on the outside tables every day. There is a great rooftop, perfect for working out and practicing yoga - they even have some good yoga mats there. There is a restaurant close by the pool that have good food, kind staff and reasonable prices if you split in 2 (the dishes are kind a big). Everything we ask for help, was quickly solved. A special thak you to Armond, the manager, and Samiksha, the receptionist, for that! I left this place devastated cause I could totally spend more 10 days there hahahah

The location - It is a little bit far to go around without bike. There is an unpaved road that is super dark during the night.

Second time staying at this hotel under different ownership - better than before. Very good location only 5 - 10 minute walk to Mandrem Beach and lots of good restaurants. Set amongst the fields and countryside with a lovely pool. The staff all very friendly, rented a scooter through them for a good price. Also had good coffee and a small food menu, the salad bowls and rice dishes we had were very good. Will definitely be back!

recently had the pleasure of staying at hotel, and I couldn't be more satisfied with my experience. The food was absolutely delicious, offering a wide variety of options to suit every taste. The staff were exceptionally friendly and active, always going the extra mile to ensure guests felt welcome and comfortable.The service was top-notch, with every need being promptly addressed. Additionally, the hotel's location is fantastic—it's conveniently close to the beach and the main market, making it easy to explore and enjoy the local area. Despite its central location, the hotel offers a peaceful and relaxing environment, perfect for unwinding after a day of activities.

We stayed 3 nights in this peaceful place! It is a great location, 5 minutes from the main high street and 10 minutes to the beach. It is a great place to wind down away from the hustle and bustle of the road. Nice cool rooms with views off both sides of the building. Big bed! The pool was refreshing and lovely and shaded by the trees. Would recommend!

It was a very calming experience, nestled in nature yet a short walk through the nature/back garden and quiet streets to the main road with shops, cafes and most importantly beach. The premises are kept clean, staff very polite and friendly. I appreciated the variety in food choices, from local curry to healthy breakfast options and tofu bowls of your selection. I highly recommend this place, especially if you’re a nature lover.

Booked this last minute for one night hoping for somewhere quiet to rest. This place delivered. Really clean room and bathroom with a super comfortable bed with fresh sheets. A/C worked amazingly and I slept like a log. Access balcony at the front and a private balcony at the back give beautiful views in both directions. A really tranquil spot. Bit of a walk to get to the beach and nearby cafes, so would recommend a scooty.
