The room is very very quiet, which is unusual for Paris. Sound proofing was good as well. We also have a view of the Eiffel tower, which was really nice. Breakfast is good. Right next to Montmartre, which is really convenient for a quick (uphill!) walk to see the city at night or early in the morning.

Not really. We already expected a small room in Paris so the size of the room was not a problem as other reviews on Booking.com.

keeping in mind that this is a 3 star hotel, our expectations were exceeded! not fancy nor embellished nor large room was nonetheless full of everything one could need, super clean and had a wonderful view of a very vibrant Parisian square through beautiful (and opening) windows. staff were helpful and professional and, although we were not expecting room service, someone did come and tidy after us. thank you! the location is superb if looking for central montmartre experience. in the heart of the action and walking distance to the sites within this neighbourhood as well as to more central paris.

if you are looking for fancy and embellished, this is perhaps not the place for you. your room will not be too spacious, nor will you be surrounded by glamour, but it will be very, very adequate for exploring a beautiful part of paris. we really had no complaints at all.

Staff were helpful and friendly. View from my room was amazing - Eiffel tower to the left, La Defense straight ahead and a Montmartre windmill just visible among the rooftops to the right. There was plenty of light. Bed was clean and comfortable.

Room 522 was smaller than I expected. Not enough room for a yoga mat. Shower room was tiny. Not really big enough for two people but luckily there was just me. Key card didnt work twice so had to go down to reception to have it re validated. There was maintenance work in my room while I was out so I had to tidy everything away.

Great location close to metros and restaurants. Lovely bedding and very comfortable bed. Overall nice place to stay but...

It was most definitely overpriced. The bathrooms are VERY small. It was really noisy. Both inside and outside. We were in Room 14 at the bottom and from early morning on there were a lot of doors slamming constantly and loud talking of staff/people. Either people were unaware of how loud the doors are slamming or they are just inconsiderate. I am expecting that it may be staff as there was only one other room on that floor and you barely heard anyone. Be sure to ask for another room if you get 14 as I found it extremely disrupting.

Let's start with the location; yes, Montmartre can be far from the main tourist attractions, but let me tell you that it was exceptional for my first time in Paris, which was longer than one day. The hotel is a 7-minute walk from the metro, that connects the entire city; it is on a hill, so you'll be working out to get there :). It is a 10-minute walk from The Sacré-Cœur, The Moulin Rouge; it is in a neighborhood full of history and wonders. As a young woman and solo traveler, I felt beyond safe. The staff was extraordinary; they helped me with every double I had. It was charming meeting more Latino people; it brought me closer to home. A cafe/restaurant bar alongside the hotel has a beautiful view, and the food is pretty good. The rooms were impeccable; there was nothing to say there. Will definitely come back!

With all the stairs and hills that Montmartre has, I was exhausted every time I had to walk to the hotel. But if you don't walk fast, maybe you won't be that tired, haha.

Great staff. The property was very clean and seemed to have been fairly recently renovated. Awesome location if you like the vibrant feel and the rich artistic past of Montmartre. Lots of quaint cafes, restaurants and bars around, with a maybe less touristy and a bit more genuinely local and young crowd. Great view from the hotel too, since you're on a hill. That will also give you a good workout! :D

Nothing negative to say. You can't compare the place to the Westin or the Hilton, of course, so, don't expect much more than what you're paying for, but great value for the money, especially in a place like Paris.

The location is the big draw with this hotel. You will not find a better place to stay in Montmartre at this price point. While there are plenty of other similar accommodations close by, they lack the aesthetic charm that Timhotel possesses. The little cobble-stoned courtyard just outside the front door is so picturesque and stereotypically Parisian. This, as well as the view from the upper rooms of the Eiffel tower both by day and by night are worth the stay alone. Also very close to Abbesses metro station 👍

Even the higher-priced rooms are undeniably small, but that is just the state of affairs in hotels in this neighborhood. Spotlessly clean throughout, however.

Room was unusually hot (we travelled early February) but the air con didn’t work, so we had to open the window and it was quite noisy outside. On checking in there was only one person at the desk who was on the phone for a long time, and didn’t really acknowledge us - meant we were stood waiting for a good 5 minutes (but we weren’t too fussed by this).

The location was excellent plus. Bed was comfortable and room clean. Outside view was beautiful, close train station.

It’s not something we didn’t like it. Just the fact that needs to know before booking. The hotel located a little shaking slope. Outside hotel is a like square public open area With quite few garden sitting long chairs have beautiful city view and people likes sitting there and socialising, so some evening very noisy. Otherwise is beautiful area, lots of restaurants and local arts, cloth shopping to enjoy. Some of them speak English.

Timhotel in Montmartre is a small but 3 story hotel located in a lovely neighborhood which is walkable to every place you’d like to explore in Montmartre. We arrived upon this area on Labour Day , 5/1/24 and it was very crowded as all of Paris was. Even with the crowds the charm of this area prevailed. Restaurants, shops, Sacre Coeur etc! Our rooms were on the smaller side but very well appointed with lovely crisp clean beddings and an updated bathroom. The floor to ceiling windows that opened up looking out onto the tree lined square added to the ambiance. The front desk staff was very helpful holding our bags for us for 2 hours since we arrived earlier than check in time which was 2 pm. The staff ordered a taxi for us the day before our departure in order to get us to the airport. You can imagine my surprise when our taxi driver was actually a staff member from the hotel who drove us in his nice private car. It was $60 euros which my friend and I split. I wish I could remember the drivers name. He was a very friendly and professional, helpful man to my friend and I who are in our 70’s and needed help lifting our suitcases. And before I forget, the included breakfast was perfect. Everything we expected, eggs, bacon , yogurt( lots of varieties), fruit, breads, croissants and even mini crepes and a big jar of Nutella next to it. Tea and coffee if course!!
