One of the most pleasant aspects was the design of the hotel, the beautiful setting, the Venetian Murano lamps, the stone walls, the paintings, the interior garden with the fountains, the flowers and in general the good taste with witch the hotel was decorated. The staff was very friendly, attentive, polite and genuine and the general attitude was very welcoming. It appears that the general vision of the hotel it is long term vision and not quick savings because they are generous with the complimentary products unlike, unfortunately many four and five stars hotels. Finally , in this age of globalization and uniformity, Acanthus Blue has a distinctive, pleasant unique personality reminding of by gone times of good manners and respect like good hotels used to be in French Italian Riviera for example.

The owner & staff of this superb little boutique hotel have got everything right. The rooms are a delight and have all mod cons that a guest might want. The food is wonderful and generous, with offerings of home-made jams at breakfast, for example, that add that extra touch that makes the difference. The staff are really friendly & helpful and nothings seems too much to ask. Whoever decides hotel ratings needs to give it another star in my opinion.

The change to a sushi menu in the restaurant this year wasn’t for me, but the hotel is close to town so not a problem finding alternatives.

Loved the staff, the decor, the service, the food. Nice big bedroom and bathroom! Great a/c! Beautiful lighting everywhere in the hotel. The kitchen accommodated our early departure by making a takeaway breakfast for us! Lovely Al fresco dining area.

Bed was a little hard and there were no blackout curtains. A lot of light was coming in around the door. Impossible to blacken the room. That was the only negative.

A magical stay in Acanthus Blue.From the moment we arrived, Christos, Alexandra, and Stratos went above and beyond to make us feel at home — their warmth, attentiveness, and genuine hospitality made all the difference. The hotel itself is full of character and charm, with beautifully preserved details that give it a timeless, elegant feel. Everything was spotless — it’s clear how much care goes into maintaining the space. We felt completely at ease and so well looked after. Acanthus Blue is more than just a hotel — it’s an experience we’ll never forget. Thank you for everything.

Ample breakfast, combination between a continental and traditional english breakfast. Able to order more if hungry, but generally the standard serving is substantial. Beautiful location - only 5 minutes from the airport and about a 15 min walk into old town. Plenty of restaurants that are nearby, that are "off the beaten track"

Whilst the aircon was fine, I do think it could be stronger to help with airflow. Electronics could improve - no modern ports which you find in most hotels and I wasn't able to connect my phone to the TV or some sort of speaker.

This small hotel is a delight , The staff are very friendly and helpful. The hotel has the most wonderful rear garden courtyard where you have breakfast, which again is first class. The night we stayed there was live jazz being played whilst dinner was served . Thoroughly recommend this hotel it’s about 15 min walk in to the heart of Corfu town

Liked everything about this place

This was the most perfect stay for us, there is nothing that we could fault. The location was perfect - close enough to old town / town but quiet enough to be outside of the hustle. About a 10-15 minute easy stroll walk. Just the perfect boutique. The service was unbelievable! The breakfast was amazing and the beds were so comfortable. Finally they renovated the property but maintained the heritage of the original property / owners which made it even more beautiful. A must stay over and over again.

From the moment we walked in we were treated special . All staff was amazing and so friendly . The breakfast in the beautiful garden room exceeded my expectations with a menu having amazing eggs Benedict and I had the lox and egggs the second day . The room was beautiful with an amazing large bathroom and high ceilings throughout. The hotel set us up with a private driver that had a collection of classic cars and took us around the island in an original VW beetle . The location was amazing, walking distance to the old fortress , prince Phillippe palace and okd town. We had visited a lot of the Greek islands but this was the most lush, safe island . We loved every moment and intend to return soon.

Great location, 10-15 stroll to old town to the left, and same to the right down to the old windmill and Mon Repos Palace / Park where Prince Philip was born. Plentiful bars and restaurants en route both ways. The location also allowed for free on street parking for our hire car too, so another bonus. The hotel itself was fantastically restored from derelict back in 2020 we understand, and has been really nicely done out both inside and out. Rooms are modern and air conditioned, with great walk in showers and quality soaps and shampoos etc provided. There is a small bar to serve drinks in the front of the hotel, with a nice seating area out fronto too. The real gem is the coverered garden courtyard out the back though, where fantastic breakfasts are prepared and servied in front of you. All staff were amazing, and very helpful.

An immaculate boutique town hotel. I very very rarely give 10/10 but this deserves it. Incredible attentive and friendly service who take real pride in their establishment (thanks Christopher). Beautifully appointed rooms and overall exceptional attention to detail. Wonderful breakfast out on the shady terrace garden. Walked to the shady beach to swim, walked to the old town for dinner. Fab lunch restaurant recommendation. Super comfy bed and pillow! If you can stay in an upstairs room.
