The location was convenient, within 20mins walk to all attractions in Fira. They arranged shuttle to pick us up from the port to Imerovigli which only costs 40 euro and is convenient. The staff carried our luggage from the drop off point to our room. Anna at the reception was very friendly, helpful and gave us a very warm welcome. We booked a superior suite but received a free room upgrade to a large suite with private jacuzzi. The room was of excellent size, clean, tidy, modern, quiet, well-facilitated and with magnificent view. The bed was very comfortable. Shortly after we settling down, the hotel restaurant brought us our welcome drinks (lemon mojito mocktail) for us to enjoy at our room balcony facing the Aegean Sea, volcano and Skaros Rock, with a nice and clear view of the sunset. It's just so relax. The breakfast was beautiful and delicious, with options ranging from cereals, cold cut meats, pastry, bread, feta cheese pie, English muffins with eggs (poached, scrambled or omelette), juice, coffee and tea, and you can select as many as you need. We are very satisfied with this accommodation.

Parking would be an issue if you have a car, which is the same for all accommodations there.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast on the balcony in the morning was enjoyable. The view from the room was amazing. The shuttle pickup and drop off (for a fee) was convenient. The staff bringing the bags to and from the room with the many steps was appreciated.

It is not within walking distance to much. It is a distance to catch a bus and a car is a necessity but parking in the area is extremely limited. We stayed at the hotel and enjoyed the pool on the day of check in and rented a car for the next two days to visit beaches and Oia and Fira. Would definitely stay again.

everything was top notch, my only tiny grumble would be they cleared the pool area at seven for dinner guests when we would have liked to have stayed in the pool for a bit longer! other than that everything was fantastic!

The view was spectacular. The room was large, quiet and very unusual like a cave. The breakfasts were delicious. Loved the extra coffee machine in the room for more hot coffee as needed. You have to walk many stairs up and down to reach the room which was fine but something to consider. The staff was very helpful and able to answer all our questions and help get us taxis as needed!

The hot tub outside our room did not get very warm. My husband used it but would have like more heat.

Luxurious, quality, attentive staff and breathtaking views

There wasn’t anything I didn’t like.

The views are incredible, the rooms are lovely well looked after and lovely decorated. The walk to the property is not the easiest a lot of stairs which are steep in part. The pool is good, very cold though, but probably to be expected in October. Breakfast is brought to the room, ordered the night before, this was an ok breakfast. Staff are all lovely and helpful. Hire a car/quad see the island. Walk to Fira it’s a beautiful walk. And do the recommended catamaran cruise our favourite day.

The jacuzzi in our room (honeymoon suite) didn’t work, and the air con wasn’t great but neither a big issue

The resort and the room were surrounded by absolutely stunning views. It was a treat to wake up to breakfast served on our terrace facing such views. We booked the honeymoon suite with an outside jacuzzi, which was great. The cave-like room is naturally cool, so we didn't have to use the aircon, but we stayed in May, so it wasn't peak season. We enjoyed how quiet it was, as it was exactly what we were searching for: a relaxing time with fantastic views. The room is fully equipped with everything you need, and the staff were amazing (very friendly and accommodating).

Everything was great. However, on our last night, we could hear the guests next door from our room.

I had a wonderful stay at Tholos Resort! The property was immaculate everything was clean and well maintained. The view was absolutely breathtaking; waking up to it every morning was a dream. But what truly made the experience stand out was the service. The staff went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. Friendly, attentive, and genuinely warm, they made us feel so welcome. I would highly recommend Tholos Resort to anyone looking for a beautiful and relaxing getaway. Can’t wait to return!

The location, surrounding beauty and staff were A+. Every single staff member was excellent. Felt very well taken care of. As we waited for our room to be ready (they accommodated our early check in) we were made a welcome beverage, it was outstanding. We also had dinner in the restaurant our first night, it was outstanding.

We had one night that the water for the shower was basically too cold to stand under. After talking with the front desk the next day it seems there might have been a solution (because of solar heat, a possible boiler system for backup). The other nights showers were excellent to fine.

We wanted to have lunch there and asked for a late checkout and they said no… no big deal but it was a special trip for me and my husband, they could have made a little effort to please us.
