The setting was stunning, the hotel is family run and you can see and feel the love that goes into it. The restaurant was outstanding with some of the pest pasta I've ever had. Loved the window into the kitchen to see the kitchen staff prepping food. The hotel has gorgeous character from when it was built with upgrades being done to keep everything comfortable but in keeping. Staff were kind and very very helpful.

The food wasn’t our taste - not breakfast or dinner. We don’t like sweet breakfasts so it’s more a culture thing not a thing about the hotel being bad.

Peaceful, breathtaking place, views, water sounds, nature smells! We ended up here on my birthday because all the hotels in Menton, France were full -- I couldn't have been happier with that outcome. Stunning old mountain retreat lodge on a river in an ancient spot of Italy. This place was so lovely, I don't know where to begin. Unique styled rooms with all needs met. I was scared to drive up the mountain, but this was one of the easier Italian roads and it was fine. Great price. Great food, nature, and ancient cities nearby to explore. After my trip, this is the place I recommended most to others.

The property is well-maintained and has an Italian touch. Our room had a balcony facing the river and mountains. Fresh air combined with the bustle of a mountain river provide energy and persistence. Breakfast was great, and the staff were hospitable.

Single beds joined to make a double is a potential hazard, Italian electrical sockets
