Convenient location right inside the old city center. Great view from the balcony and the upper terrace. Delicious breakfast. Very comfortable beds. Though tiny, the bathrooms are fully equipped.

The property is pretty hard to find. There's many more streets in old Ventimiglia than Google maps show, so it's easy to get lost. Also, you really should call the owner 30 minutes before your arrival, otherwise you'd have to wait for them to show up. Don't be shy to ask for directions before you start climbing the hill with your suitcases, it's really steep! And BTW, there's an elevator from the tunnel connecting the river bridge and the port 😉

Quirky apartment in an ancient house in the old town. Great place to explore. Lovely roof terrace. Clean and comfortable bed. Good breakfast (although lots of sweet things so ask for egg). We loved the historic feel and happened to stay whilst thdd Ed medieval festival was on.

Old buildings come with challenges. We didn’t mind the stairs but we struggled with head room and have grazes as a result. We had a kitchen with hob and kettle but couldn’t use them as no mugs or pans.

My room was very nice with very comfortable bed and good shower and lovely feeling with the balcony… i spent quite a lot of time there because it was so nice:) the roof terrace was great-very atmospheric, and breakfast was wonderful! The man working there was kind. It was an unusual experience to stay in a place like this!

For me it was a little claustrophobic the amount of stairs to get up and inside the building itself but I got used to it quickly and I think it adds to the experience!

This place was so charming. It is a guesthouse so it is a really authentic stay. The hosts were so kind and welcoming and let us bring in our bags upon arrival. The terrace area was so beautiful and we spent time up there multiple times during our stay. We had coffee up there, breakfast, and even hung out a bit in the evening. Our room was so comfortable and had an incredible view over the area. Once we found the nearby elevator (life saver!) it was easily walkable to anywhere you'd wanna go in the town and only about a 10 minute walk from the train station. The surrounding area was also BEAUTIFUL and we couldn't stop just strolling around all the streets and exploring the beautiful old town.

Nothing. Not a fault of the property but something to note is that there are many steep stairs going up to the guesthouse itself. This was NOT an issue for us at all. But if you have mobility issues this likely wouldn't be the stay for you.

could do with more instructions on how best to get there. once we knew there was a lift in the tunnel that takes you straight to the top it was very easy access with not much uphill, but it was very stressful finding the place as we walked up through the old town which is very confusing and google maps not reliable.

In the middle of an old and authentic village above a village. Ancient really, unique and old world. Great and generous breakfast and gracious staff. It’s quiet at night even tho u are ose to the center of the old village. There are two good restaurants up top too. Supercomfy beds and clean with elegance.

You have to be okay with stairs and a struggle for gps to find it.

This place is most beautiful. I would recommend it warmly. The breakfast was insanely good, staff were wonderfully helpful and the interior design was amazing in my opinion. I would make sure to tell guests who are arriving by train that there is a lift/elevator in the tunnel that takes pedestrians to the level needed in the old town. We did not know this and struggled getting to this wonderful place.

A gorgeous room tucked into the Ventimiglia old town hillside. Very comfortable and welcoming. Breakfast on the terrace was delicious. We enjoyed hearing the families who lived nearby enjoying being together and children playing.

It is truly on the hillside. Wish we’d taken a taxi, but we trudged up there with backpacks. :/

What an incredible experience ! It was good proximity to the train station for an overnight stay. Felt very authentic old world charm in a medieval accommodation. Included a great breakfast. Our host was very helpful

There was a lot of stairs so if you have mobility issues could be a problem Bathroom was small but we really enjoyed our stay Ruins .. amphitheater was about a kilometre away

This is a hidden gem - literally. The location is a little obscure, but the owner did a great job of giving us directions. It is located in a tiny pedestrian only alley and you cannot get a vehicle close. But after you get into the facility is it remarkable. Very quaint old brick and stone work have been creatively weaved into a modern design. Our bathroom had a unique feature - a plexiglass floor over an arched brick floor. It was close to most of the attractions of Ventimiglia. Excellent value for money. Well worth the effort finding the place.

The facility is three stories high with narrow stairs - so luggage can be a little problematic.
