Such a cute campsite with lovely food van and easy to find and navigate. The staff were great before, during and after and helped us with all our questions. Definitely bring warm clothes, extra blankets and a sleeping bag so you can add warmth if the temp drops (it was near freezing when we were there), and opt for the heater with extra canisters! We enjoyed a night round a firepit with a couple we met and Joshua made us up a s’mores kit - such a treat!
There isn’t any running drinking water on site, so bring a supply of your own, and your own towels too - the facilities are pretty basic, and is probably best in the summer when it’s warmer.

The tent was awesome and very comfortable.
There are only 4 bathroom facilities which included a shower and toilet so if you needed to go to the toilet you had to line up and wait for everyone to have a shower before you could get in - maybe a few toilets would be a good idea

Such a great, unique experience! Great location, not too far from the Grand Canyon. The tents are nicely spaced out, so you know you're not alone, but you're not on top of each other. The bed was so comfortable and warm, which was important since the temps got down to the 30s! A solar powered lantern was included and perfect once the sun went down. The staff was wonderful and the food truck was a nice surprise. Because of the cold weather, we weren't able to enjoy the firepits and corn hole. Highly recommended if you love tent camping and appreciate a few luxuries while out in nature.
Nothing! Our experience from check-in to when we left was excellent!

We loved the soft beds and warm bedding. All of the employees I talked to were very nice.
I requested a tent close to the bathrooms and was assured by text that it would be fine. When arriving i was told that they couldn't accommodate my request and that the people texting me can't guarantee that. More communication needs to be done between these two parties. Our tent was one of the furthest away from the bathrooms. A 5 minute walk or 30 second drive. When arriving at the bathrooms there was a 50% chance you had to wait 5-10 minutes or more. You really need more bathrooms! The road getting there is one of the worst dirt roads I've driven on. It needs major maintenance! We saw multiple people with flat tires at the camp.

Wander Camp was a very nice simple camping experience. The tent was spacious and the host was ready to greet us when we arrived at 8:30pm. The location was remote (2 miles down a gravel road from the main hwy) which made for a nice quiet experience.
Main (minor) downside was that all the toilets are also showers, this means in the morning we had to wait a while to use a toilet due to everyone showering. If possible if would be great to have a few toilets that are toilets only and don't have showers for quicker throughput. Also maybe if you could find a way to make the generator a bit quieter (i.e. put up some kind of screen around it or put it further from camp, that would be great).

Location is lovely. They say on their accommodation description that they recommend a ATV or a AWD. We have a Toyota prius at home and I would have been 100% comfortable to drive this road to Wander Camp Grand Canyon. As long as you drive responsibly, I understand why they say it though. They do not want any trouble with their guests. So if you have a normal “city car” you should be fine to get there safely. It’s a bit bumpy (washboard road) that’s all.
Nothing really. Everything was fine and great. Especially the location.

The accommodation is comfortable. The tent is very spacious. They provide you with light (a new one every day), so you don’t have to rely only on your flashlight. I was surprised by the limited number of sanitary facilities for so many tents. The gentleman tried to keep everything clean, but sometimes you had to wait in line. It was nice that we always had hot water (we were prepared for a colder option as well). We weren’t cold in the tents—there’s a sufficiently thick blanket. There’s a possibility for roasting, and you can buy wood right there. It’s a bit of an unconventional romance. Just be careful when arriving; drive carefully on the road.

The most was the nicest host I’ve ever met and had pleasure to talk to or to deal with. So helpful and very easy going. Gives attention and very good tips. Really pleasant gent. Very good location, the most amazing Milky Way I’ve ever seen. Very well organised facilities, you can do fire camp as well as barbecue. All super easy accessible. For a tent, very comfy beds.
This one is on me and only me. I assumed that it will be still warm enough at night, my bad, I should’ve known and check that this is nearly end of the season and I should prepare myself better. So for all travellers, do check the season, the weather and conditions to take the right outfit accordingly. Was tiny bit cold. However, the host can rent you heating if you wanted. Probably I was just to lazy to go and ask😂

My wife really wanted to see some stars close to the Grand Canyon. I did like how this was off grid so no wifi or large facilities. Our tent was very comfortable and the man in charge gave us a rundown of the place. There are small changing/bathrooms available and checkin was quick and simple!
We did have a lot of people arriving late into the night so was a little noisy and the 3 mile dirt road to get there was very bumpy to say the least, we didn't exceed 15 miles an hour so make sure you have a larger SUV or truck.

I loved how nice and welcoming all of the staff members were from the moment I arrived to the moment I left! Thank you to Jeanie, Will, John, and to Lindsey!! They were incredible about making sure that I was able to find my tent (even at a super late hour), that I knew what facilities were available to me, and came to my rescue in the middle of the night when a small mouse friend came to say hello. Everything was in tip top shape, from the clean bathrooms to the clean open area the camp sat on - and there was no scary animal encounters (even though you can hear them and they may sound mighty close) so I felt safe in my tent!
The road to the camp is not favorable to regular sedans - though they do mention to have an AWD or 4WD! - because the road is a bumpy gravel filled with rocks and dips that force you to go extra slow if you don’t have the right setup (which isn’t really a bad thing!).
