The staff (especially Ilaria) are kind, polite and attentive. Scattered seating areas across the immaculate grounds welcome privacy, reflection and relaxation. Sunset views are incredible. At Borghi dell’ Eremo, luxury standards and natural surroundings are in pure harmony. This is the Italy of your dreams.

A truly exceptional boutique hotel set on a hilltop in Umbria. The staff went above and beyond to be helpful, always warm and welcoming. The hotel and gardens are amazing and beautifully maintained, creating a stunning setting. Our room was spacious and comfortable, with a large, cozy bed and an indulgent shower with the best water flow we’ve ever experienced in a hotel. The breathtaking views make this a perfect place to relax, breathe in the fresh air, and unwind. A wonderful spot to enjoy great food and wine while exploring Umbria!

Borghi dell'Eremo was absolutely fantastic. Incredible property - feels like a magical oasis. Quiet, calming, peaceful - the perfect end to an Italy trip. I cannot say enough good things about this hotel. The grounds are beautiful - a buzzing ecosystem with flowers, birds, bees... gorgeous rooms, great views, amazing pool, nice spa.

Be prepared to drive ~1++ mile through bumpy dirt back roads once you enter the gate. Property is absolutely worth the haul, but be prepared.

Absolutely stunning property on the border of Umbria and Tuscany. Our room was a perfect mix of historic and modern and was the perfect place to spend a few nights. The staff were also impeccable - from reception, spa and the restaurant. We loved eating breakfast and dinner at the restaurant and was given complimentary use of the wellness space. Highly recommend to go to both!

Only a minor thing but the gravel road leading up to the property got a bit muddy when it heavily rained, not a major issue. The road is justified however as the hilltop views are stunning!

This property was unbelievable! It felt like you were in a storybook setting. Every detail was unique and special. The staff and all the special touches were noticed and appreciated. We were so sad to leave.

The bed made a lot of noise when you got in and out of it and it was a little tight in the space, BUT it was actually comfortable.

The property is located at an amazing location surrounded by nature, the room was beautifully designed and clean. I loved the breakfast served, and the lunch bar is also great. The staff is very nice and welcoming, would definitely come again for a vacation. I would appreciate an indoor space for pool or hot tub included in the stay for the winter days :)

Overall it’s an amazing place, it feels like you are in another world, staff is very kind and helpful. Our room was perfectly clean and they always surprise you with small things.

Only a minor point to improve is that the heat of pool water could be a bit higher.

Amazing location. Excellent and welcoming staff. Quality and variety of options at breakfast was great and the lunch menu and food was wonderful. We did not have dinner at the hotel. Spa was great and the team in the spa is helpful and informative.

The whole complex was immaculate, the room was grand and lavish and extremely clean and comfy! The gardens were in pristine condition and there wasn’t a blade of glass out of place! The view is as good as any you could ever imagine. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The whole place was truly spectacular.

The only downside of you want to use the spa it’s 60euro pp.

The cosy large room, the magnificent garden, the beautiful pool, the super nice and welcoming team, everything was just perfect! Thank you for making our vacation a dream come true.
