We got a beautiful big room. Nice interior, lovely pool area where you could spot some wildlife. The hotel was located in a quiet area so it felt really safe. It had a big parking lot where we parked our rented car. The room also came with a fridge/refrigerator. It had soaps in the shower. The location was good, only a couple of minutes away from the beach, main street.

Unfortunately a lot of mosquitoes. That’s not the hotels fault but just be aware.

Really comfortable and private hotel for a great price in Puerto Viejo. We loved the size and layout of the room, the patio area and the pool was a nice bonus. It was close to everything but far enough that there was no traffic noise or music from the local clubs. Filtered water and coffee offered daily was great and the staff were friendly and helpful.

The beds were really hard which was not our taste. We slept well anyways because it was so quiet and blackout curtains.

It was safe and intimate, well kept and clean. The owner was very helpful and hospitable. We appreciated him giving us just a little extra time for hitting one of the most beautiful national parks/beaches I’ve seen (Manzanilla) before checking out. Loved the open feel because of the beautiful windows and the pretty bushes/manicured look. For a smaller hotel/grounds they did a very nice job of making it private and well laid out. I would definitely return!

It was all good and pleasant. No breakfast but didn’t matter.

Location is perfect. Close to the beach but in a cosy, small street. Room was spacious, really nice concept. Beds were amazing. I like the porch in front where you can sit and relax and have a coffee while listening to birds and watching trees. Pool was an extra plus! Cosy, relaxing and quiet. Staff was friendly and very professional.

Hangers in the bathroom would be a great plus.

The location is quiet - a great place to relax. Already before I arrived I felt so welcome with the easy communication. The location is perfect- only a short walk to the beach. I loved my room which was really spacious and the high quality of furniture made me feel like home immediately. Fantastic service, great vibes… absolutely recommend to stay here. ❤️

There is absolutely nothing - everything was perfect from the first minute to the last minute of my stay.

The owner of Indalo was amazing! Very welcoming, polite, and kind. Fresh coffee was available every morning and drinking water throughout the day. He helped me with everything I needed during my stay and was very supportive during my checkout when I almost missed my flight. The hotel is within walking distance from everything in Puerto Viejo and offers free safe parking space. My room was safe and quiet, the air conditioner was working perfectly, and cleaned every day. I would definitely choose it in case of returning to Puerto Viejo!

Cool, modern, extremely comfortable and immaculately clean room . Everything works and the Air Con is perfect for a good night sleep. The room is well furnished in a modern style containing everything you could possibly require, including hair dryer. Large french doors lead out to a private sitting area several steps from the pool with views of the jungle beyond. From the pool you can see sloths, eagles and multicoloured bird life. The hotel is quiet and secure at night although the centre of town with restaurants and bars are only a short walk away. The hotel is well run and the staff are friendly, efficient and go out of their way to ensure you have everything you need. Gonzalo the owner is an excellent source of information as well as a genuinely nice guy. He even helped us with getting to our next destination. I don't generally write reviews but this hotel is a bit special and I highly recommend it for a visit to Puerto Viejo.

- located a bit away from the hustle and bustle - but everything within walking distance - parking space for cars - room with a small terrace - very nice to sit outside - in our case right by the pool - coffee and cookies in the morning

- bathroom area without a door - just behind the wall, toilet only with a swing door like in a saloon - not so good for privacy - otherwise everything is ok

This hotel was so cute, nested in the Jungle. Great views from your room window. Please note that not all rooms (actually only 2) have pool view. The rest is nested more in the jungle with jungle view. The pool is small. Location is perfect, near everything, yet quiet enough and far enough from the bustling centre of the town. Staff was super super nice and friendly!

Everything was perfect . A home away from home . The property is run by Gonzalez and his wife and they are the nicest people . The hotel is spotlessly clean with immaculate gardens and a gorgeous pool The room had a big comfortable bed with crisp white linen , a fridge and tv . The lighting was good with bedside lights and bedside table .Our room was serviced every day and the towels changed . Free Morning coffee and biscuits in the lobby was a nice touch and there is a water cooler for water refills which we loved. They have a book exchange area and are knowledgeable about the local activities and sights The property is very secure at night It’s close to town , only 5 mins walk to eating places and 5 mins to the beach . We highly recommend staying here
