The property is in a nice remote location. Everything is brand new and the decoration looks beautiful. The staff was very nice and always helpful. The beach access was a plus too!

We were pretty content with our stay and just have some comments to make: In our room there was not any door between the bathroom and the bedroom- maybe good to know if you don‘t travel as a couple. Additionally, no one cleared our table and the coconuts we got as a welcome drink started rotting away- but maybe the staff just did not see it. As a five star hotel - according to booking.com- we would expect a fridge or a gym too. BUT this is complaining on a high level- it was a really nice hotel in any way, just keep those things in mind😊

Make sure to know each other for a while as a couple - you will hear all toilet sounds, no door, wall, whatsoever / very thin walls - you can hear every word of your neighbors or even hear their snoring…

Lovely facilities, in the middle of the forest, with a beautiful setup around the pool. You can listen to all the birds and monkeys while enjoying a cocktail in the garden. Staff was really friendly at all times, rooms are decorated with very good taste. Our room also had some comfy chairs in front of the room, so you could chill outside in the evenings. Tasty breakfast and cocktails. Overall, it's a really beautiful place to stay at!

We were missing a mini fridge in the room. Also, the quality of some plumbing in the bathroom can be improved (shower leaking a little bit, sink water pressure a bit too low). However, these are minor things and not a deal breaker.

The hotel is very beautiful, the room is gorgeous, big and so incredibly comfy. From the moment I stepped foot in the hotel the staff members were so incredibly welcoming, helpful and friendly. I came in Ramadhan therefore was not able to join breakfast so they packed my breakfast so I can have some food before the start of fasting in the morning!! They also helped to arrange the massage session with another beautiful hotel, Awa Beach Resort which is a must try..the massage sessions are heavenly!! Will definitely visit again!

There were loud occasional clangings outside the room, probably from maintenance doing their job, so might want to reduce that a bit :)

- Super spot for a first stay on the Caribbean coast. The location was in a quieter, safe area past Puerto Viejo which we loved. Only a 5min walk or less to the private beach Playa Grande, where you’ve got the whole place to yourself away from hot spots. - All staff were genuinely very friendly and happy! The service provided was great and someone was always there answer any questions relating to our stay, things to do and see, or which drink to take. It was a wonderful greeting upon our arrival as well :) - The welcome coconut drink was cool, plus so refreshing! All cocktails we had and food which we ordered for lunch/dinner were delicious, as well as being fair value compared to other restaurants in the area…rather practical when it was already dark outside and we wanted to avoid driving. Breakfast was a fun experience everyday choosing 1 of the 5 (or 6) options on the menu and enjoying the fresh fruit alongside of the dishes. You’ll eat/drink well.

- It’s how the rooms are set out, however, we found it a little awkward having no seperate door between the bed/chill area and the toilet. Fear not, there’s a wall covering 75% but one must always stay put in that spot to allow the other to have their privacy.

Very beautiful decor and savvy layout of the room, lovely breakfast and pleasant staff. Smooth arrival in the middle of the night by the night guard. Comfy bed and check-in flexible, good communications with the personnel by WhatsApp.

Isolation of the wall is not great and sound travels.

This is paradise! The hotel is located in the jungle between the main road and the beach and nature is all around. Monkeys, birds, everything is around! The hotel itself is very beautiful! The rooms are around the pool next to the reception and the bar/restaurant. A short walk to the beach(3 minutes) and to town(15 minutes via the beach or 20 minutes via the road). It’s a very dark walk at night, but it’s safe and the restaurants in town have great food and they are cheap. The restaurant at the hotel offers great breakfasts, lunch and dinner(yes, it’s quite expensive and they add tax and service to the price, but the food is great! Not only pizzas as some say) The cocktails are great as well! The personal is wonderful, sweet and very helpful!! You feel like a king or queen! Fabrizio, Manfred, Christian, and all the others, thank you for a wonderful stay!

This resort checked all the possible boxes. It is perfect because you are in small boutique resort near the ocean. They have given you all that you need; relaxing pool/patio/restaurant area. If you want to book a tour, the staff is right on it. If you need a relaxing drink by the pool, on it. A car might be good as the main road is busy and harder to walk - but doable.

Really nothing - as they say could have the best resort but staff makes it memorable. Think it was the time of year - February - so the beach and surf were a bit rough.

We loved everything about this property! It was conveniently located near the quiet beach, the rooms were spacious, comfortable and clean, plus the staff was wonderful. We had some problems with the air-con, but they fixed the problem very quickly by changing the air-con to brand new machine. On our last day, they packed us breakfast to go, because we had to leave before the breakfast time. The restaurant was very good and we ate there many times. And the cocktails were divine! We enjoyed the pool time, facilities and the atmosphere so much that we extended our 5-night stay with 4 more nights. We’d be happy to return back here anytime.

Everything about our 5 nights Exotico stay was top notch! Design, decor, seclusion, natural beauty, yet closenest to all, and then in this order: the staff, the entire front line team, the housekeepers (loved getting to know Raquel) the howler monkeys over our head, and the toucans, every day! The beach access to the most beautiful beach....The most delucious breakfast and meals! I wish we'd still be there! We enjoyed the easy access to Cocles beach, Manzanillo park, Puerto Viejo at night, a big WOW!
