Wow. I guess we got an early bird rate (even though we didn't book too much in advance) because the whole experience feels more expensive than it costs. Where to begin? The room was very spacious and had all the details: AC, big bed with excellent linens, TV, microwave, fridge, awesome bathroom, modern lighting, terrace. It really feels over the top. The staff is very attentive. The hotel itself is beachfront so it's very comfortable but it also has a pool that by the way, you can ask the staff to bring cocktails to the pool (just bear in mind that some cocktails are not available due to ingredients). The included breakfast is delicious, you can even choose from several types. You can rent bikes for $8 a day and there's free beach chairs if you need one. The pool area has a ping pong table and fussball. Really, a great hotel.

It is a little hard to write a review about this hotel. This because everything is there, but it all feels unprofessional. First of all; everything you need is there. Rooms are very comfortable and spacious, airconditioning works good. There is a nice and big pool. The area is 24/7 secured.

Despite of all the facilities, it felt like the staff was very inexperienced. At the reception, the lady did not speak English. The cleaner asked every day if the room had to be cleaned, in stead of cleaning the room automatically. Be aware; the pictures suggest all the rooms are near the swimming pool, but there is a large building where the cheaper rooms are. There is not a garden view as they suggest (see picture). At last; there are only three a la carte options for breakfast; too little for the amount you are paying. They include coffee OR juice; they refuse to give you both.

The bungalow is spacious and comfortable. It is located right in front of a beautiful pool. The best thing about the resort is the staff! Maria at the front desk is extremely helpful and attentive. She ensures that we have everything that we needed such as laundry soap for the washer/dryer, menu via what’s app for room/pool service, tours and excursions, etc. The young security guard at the main entrance is always walking the grounds and alerting us to animal sightings in the area. He directed us to sloths and capuchin monkeys around the property. The property has a back gate that access directly to Punta Uva beach where you can rent kayaks for the stream next to the beach. Overall we truly enjoyed our stay at this gorgeous property thanks to all the hard-working and helpful staff!

We loved everything about the property

We stayed at the Punta Uva Bungalows and had an awesome time. The suite was roomy and ultra modern — AC, LED lights, remote blinds, super comfy lazy couches, and a private jacuzzi that was perfect after the beach. The staff were great, especially María at the front desk — all friendly and helpful. Nice gardens and the pool is big, with different levels, plus a pool bar. The best part is that it's right on Punta Uva beach, with soft sand, clear water, peaceful vibes. Would definitely come back.

We enjoyed how the staff was so helpful and seemed happy to have us there. They are kind and overall have great customer service. The beach is nice too and the pool is so nice.

Wish they offered more breakfast options, the pool bar was closed, and also, perhaps they offered complimentary water for the guests. I also would suggest different pillows, the ones in our room were small and hard and I ended up having to remove them and sleep with no pillows.

What I like the most about this property is the staff and the location, just right away the front exit you have one the most beautiful beaches in Puerto Viejo which is Punta Uva, I can not tell you guys how great it was.

I paid for a suite which was very comfortable bit it was in the basement floor so all the noises and sounds from the first floor were heard in my room, so that is the only thing I did not like it.

The property has direct access to the beach and it is a lovely beach. The villas were well equipped and in front of the pool, which is good too. Breakfast was good. It is a nice place to stay and relax.

I think it’s perfectly located, with a direct access to the beach and super well equipped and good looking facilities.

Maybe a gym would complement the experience.

Staff were friendly, kind and helpful! Breakfast was good. Pool was awesome. Proximity to a wonderful swimming beach was super!

The location great (near Playa Chiquita and Punta Uva). The hotel is beautifull sorounded by trees and nature and the rooms are clean and with all the amenities.

The breakfast was not good and we spend more than an hour waiting for coffee, however the personnel was kind and always aware of help.
