WOW!!! First timers in CR so we didn't know what to expect. We were very happy with our choice. The breakfasts were terrific with cereal, yogurt, eggs (scrambled or fried), sausage, pancakes etc were great. The resort is extremely well maintained and clean. The pool and kids pool were very clean and probably 89°F during our stay (end of February). The Tiki Bar is staffed with great guys who are happy to help. They offer adult beverages and kids drinks along with some really great lunch and dinner options. The only complaint is around the policy around the drinks at the pool. I completely understand not having any glass around the pool but there is nothing better than relaxing in the pool with your drink on the edge of the pool especially when the Tiki Bar provides the drinks in glass. Might suggest a review? The accommodations were also very nice with plenty of hot water. The bed was comfortable and the room was made up daily with fresh towels for the bathroom and the pool. The location was also an easy walk to Playa Manzanillo. Are there resorts that you could pay double or triple the price? I am sure there are but why???? This resort satisfied all our needs and when looking at the hit to the bank account it was a fantastic choice. Don't be fooled by others, you will NOT be disappointed here

The resort is surrounded by jungle and there was some great wildlife to see / hear. My standard room had a kitchen area with a fridge, good AC as well as a ceiling fan, and plenty of towels. The people on reception were super friendly and helpful.

Some of the jalousie windows in the room did not work / had panels missing. The swimming pool was, understandably, very popular with children, which might put some people off. It was a 15 minute walk to the beach (although you would likely see monkeys, birds and butterflies on the way).

Set in a jungle setting approximately 1.5 km from the beach, it has a real ‘away from everything’ feel to it. A lovely pool, great jungle walks, comfortable accommodation, good breakfasts, very good for families and apart from the howling monkeys, very quiet!! Manzanillo village is the ‘end of the road’ quiet but charming

Music around the pool was a bit loud for my taste

The apartment was clean. The rooms were large and there was two shower rooms. The living, dining area was also spacious with a good sized sofa and a modern TV with Netflix! The pool was very nice and the barmen served great smoothies. The location was amazing, with walks to explore, wildlife everywhere. It also had a snooker table, table football and a football green. The breakfast included was also convenient and great value. This place was worth visiting.

The bike rental was an extra $10 per person.

Absolutely amazing! The staff are so friendly and helpful, the buffet breakfast is delicious, there’s great jungle walks right next to the resort. The pool and bar area are spot on. The room was very clean, great kitchen facilities, loved the fresh coffee machine and ice in freezer. The resort gave me a lovely hamper for my birthday and gave me a ride to the stop. Was a perfect stay, wish I had booked longer.

Breakfast was ok, but served in a canteen type of dining room. The pool and bar area was lovely and food served there was good. The area for walking the trails was really pleasant. The staff were great, especially Roger who welcomed us so warmly and gave us an early check in.

The pool was great. The fact that the rainforest was right outside our place was amazing. We liked the nature trail on the grounds, and the breakfast was very good and a bit different every day. .

The price of drinks and food from the tiki bar, but the food and drinks were amazing.

You can hear the jungle at night, which is very special. Room was clean. Staff helped us get around. Pool is real nice with the Tiki Bar and it was just what we needed after the 5 hour drive there. Breakfast was very decent

Location means that you can't really enjoy the vibe of Puerto Viejo at night. Lots of bugs as it's right at the edge of the jungle.

Lovely place. So accommodating to allow us to arrive early and drop our luggage. Nice breakfast and good clean comfortable room. The fridge was great for storing our food and drink. Pool and facilities were lovely. We got our laundry done which was very helpful too.

Nice pool, nice staff.

It was not an unit for 6 persons. The sofa bed in the living room is a really small and thin mattress. 4 persons is comfortable, more than that it's really not nice.
