Good buffet style breakfast prepared by friendly staff. Room well equipped with a bath and separate shower (ask if you want a bath tub as I believe hotel only has two or three rooms with tubs). Room also had a small garden outside. Reasonably priced. Hotel is beside the Hotel Bhagsu, and at the top of a steep footpath which goes directly to the main temple entrance. There are some nice cafes in McLeod Ganj - try the Common Ground just up from the taxi stand and main square. Hotel caters well for older, less mobile guests (elevator etc)

Small things only. My room was quite close to Reception, so I was disturbed by noise of people arriving and leaving at night. Perhaps go for rooms on floors above. A fridge in the room would have been nice to keep food and drinks cool.

D’s Casa is a quiet oasis surrounded by trees, but also a short walk to the markets and eateries. I loved the rooftop seating and the restaurant, which features a nice variety of options. The staff was attentive to every need; I especially appreciated their assistance with securing taxis when I wanted to explore, helping to communicate my wishes with the drivers and then checking with me later to see if all had gone well.

The hotel is centrally located in McLeodganj, within walking distance of tourist attractions (Tsuklakhang temple complex, St John's Church, Bhagsunag temple & Bhagsu falls), the market, and the restaurants & cafes. While being near the market, it is also secluded making it a quiet place to stay in. The property is well maintained & clean. The staff are extremely helpful, we were provided timely packed breakfasts on our early morning starts, and arrangements were made for ordering an early morning taxi. A special mention of the front desk staff - Mr Julphi Ram, and Mr Gautam and the restaurant / waiting staff including Mr Manjeet Singh; for their cooperative & helpful attitude. We liked the food as it was not oily / spicy, but the breakfast menu was repetitive. Overall, we had a pleasant 5 day stay, and would like to stay here again.

The breakfast menu was repetitive and slightly boring. A suggestion would be to provide blinds in the restaurant windows for the times when bright sunlight makes is difficult to sit by the windows.

The facilities of the room were on par with hotels in Europe. Very clean, good location and good supply of lotion and shampoo, etc in washrooms.

The front desk person - Gautham was a bit strange. We had trouble finding the place as the hotel is wrong on Google maps. So we kept going around in circles after a long travel and we kept calling him but could not find the hotel. Nor did locals on the street know where it was. But, Gautham refused to send anyone to a spot to receive us. And, when we finally did find the place he said, "I don't know who you were asking!" Also, rooms didn't have ashtrays, slippers. and we were given only 2 bottles of 500ml water daily. Over this, we were told that we'd be charged for refillings.

Location was great. It was conveniently located and yet quiet. The staff were friendly and warm. Manager Julphi Ram was prompt in replying to queries, and other staff - Sewan, Deepak, Rajeev, Sasaswati, Ashok and Prashant were most helpful. The hotel rooftop had a great view of the mountains.

The manager was kind enough to upgrade my room to the best available option at that moment. That particular room was nice and spacious. good view from balcony. Room service was quick and good. Rooftop restaurant is a plus. Food is also good. Location very convenient.

Treatment towards our Taxi driver could have been better. He was asked to move around the car after parking once so many times that eventually he took out the car and went out somewhere and slept. The management should try to be more considerate towards them.

As other reviews have said, the location is ideal. Overlooking the mountains, it is a very short walk to the square/shopping/restaurants, and Dalai Lama complex, but also just far enough away to be quiet, giving it a relaxed atmosphere. It is very clean, very modern, with a lot of little details that cater to your needs, from good & numerous power outlets, extra bedding and pillows handy, and a huge, modern bathroom. The balcony was perfect for sitting and watching the mountains in the morning or evening, and the rooftop also a great place to relax and take in the scenery. The hotel has a thoughtful design—the exposed wood makes it feel like a cozy cabin—but with modern conveniences and great service. And after climbing steep hills all day, we appreciated the luxury of taking an elevator up two floors to our room! Every single staff member was very friendly and helpful. We were able to do same-day laundry, and we extended our trip an extra day quickly and with no issue. They have a big staff ensuring the hotel is alway clean and efficient..

It was great they provided free parking in such a congested area, but it took awhile to get out car at the end of our stay, so next time we’ll plan extra time.

Staff were sweet and kind. Property’s location is amazing because it’s close to all the major landmarks.

I understand they have there protocols but it would help if they could be a little flexible with their checkout time. And maybe the price could be a little more affordable.

Nice clean hotel with a good location and city view in front and mountain view at the rear. The staff were very helpful and caring. Breakfast was good. Our corner room and attached bathroom were very spacious.

Breakfast spread was limited. Dining room being close on the same floor, Saturday evening was noisy till late.

The location — situated in the heart of Mcleodganj.

The rooms are a bit old-fashioned. I think it would be great if they worked on the interiors a bit, add a little more lighting, give a sophisticated look to the rooms while retaining the woody rustic feel.
