First of all, the scenery is absolutely stunning! I couldn’t wait to wake up in the morning and catch the sun rise. The owner was very accommodating, polite, and professional. It is a self check-in and self checkout. Very convenient. The lodge that we stayed in had 1 twin and 1 full size bed in it, that was perfect for our family of 3. The mattresses are very comfortable, sheets were clean, and the sheets fit the beds just fine. The bathroom was clean, and everything worked as it should. The kitchenette was a very nice touch with a coffee maker, microwave, mini fridge, tabletop burner, sink and it was stocked with dishware and cutlery. There was a TV in the room with every app needed to watch movies or shows. I loved that you had the option to purchase firewood and have a small bonfire next to the lake. Unfortunately, due to a no burn policy, we were unable to have one. They do have grills and picnic tables throughout the site that you are able to utilize. You do have the option to also rent a paddle boat and I believe a canoe too. We had no problem finding a place to park for our stay, and the road was smooth to drive on (I read in a other review it was not a decent driveway and had holes. They definitely fixed that). That cabin was also pet friendly. The location is great, and the commute to nearby shops, restaurants, and sightseeing is not far. I would definitely book again and recommend this place to family and friends.

You do have to find somewhere else to eat for breakfast at the moment. It is listed, and the sign does state, it’s a bed and breakfast but their kitchen is temporarily closed.

Nice big rooms, full of character. Comfortable beds,and nice views from the windows. Good facilities in the room, fridge, coffee maker, utensils etc. Nice clean bathroom with a big shower.

The road out front was quite noisy early morning despite closing the windows, but it wasn't too bad. The fridge was quite noisy in the main bedroom as well at times.

It is a self checking process. Had I lost or ignored my emails and texts, I would not have been able to check in. There was no Kleenex box and the cold water tap in the sink in the bathroom would not open no matter how hard I tried. Also, no microwave or air conditioning…just a fan. From the description, I thought there was a restaurant and possibility of breakfast, but nothing was open. I would not have used the pool, but if I wanted to, the pool was covered by a plastic blanket.

Noisy. Hear people above you walking around. Bathroom noisy. Light in shower didn’t work. Shower head needed replaced. One night was pretty warm even with fan on and window open.

We did self check in, which was fine and assumed we were the only ones there but at 12:30 at night someone came in and went past our room. A heads up that someone would be coming in late would have been good especially since we didn’t have a key to our room. It was just a little disconcerting.

The location was beautiful. The view was amazing from outside and inside. Clean. Close to a grocery store which is always a plus. Several restaurants were near by to choose from. Enjoyed our stay!

Cabins were gorgeous. Rustic. Attention to detail was exceptional. Staff were amazing. A beautiful gem away from the city. Excellent location and fishing. Amazing Chinese restaurant close by.

Tv could have been better with access to different channels instead of Firestick. Also couldn’t get onto internet.
