It was clean, comfortable and quiet - exactly what I was needing after a week of listening to construction noise at my previous booking. Puri Arsa is truly like a magical mini resort in a more rural part of Bali. And did I mention how beautiful the pool is? I miss it! During the day, there's a lovely soundscape of birds and surrounding nature, combined with distant neighbourhood sounds to remind you that you're in an exotic location. Made and his team are always willing and ready to help you with anything that will make your stay more pleasant. Made has had a long career in the hospitality business - working on cruise ships around the globe - and it absolutely shows in the quality and thoughtful inclusions at Puri Arsa. They even arranged for a massage therapist to come to the property - so far it's the best massage I've had in this trip. One thing I need to mention is there are few Grab and Gojek drivers nearby. It's easy to get food delivered, but getting rides can be a little challenging at times. Made does offer complimentary short rides, and may even be able to provide a taxi service, pending availability. If you're wondering if all of the great reviews are accurate, I can tell you they are. I've stayed in so many places in SEA that have been hyped up, but the ones for this place are no exaggeration. It's amazing value.

Because I didn't have my own transport, it wasn't easy to independently go out and about. But that's really ok because I needed this place for some serious R&R ✨

This place was amazing! Perfect place if you want to get away from tourism and feel like you’re experiencing real Bali. The staff were so amazing and so helpful. Can rent scooters which you will need to get about. Bed was so big and comfortable and the bathroom was super big with a great shower. The fridge comes fully stocked with goodies ( extra charge but good price) They offer cooked food too. The pool was so lovely could easily just spend your whole time here without having to leave! A nice little pizza place not far from here too. The lady who works here was always on call and helped with our bags and even waved us goodbye which I loved.

They staff were so kind and caring, when I arrived the immediately showed me to my room. The host offered to cook local dinner and breakfast everyday. On my first day of arrival I did not have a motorbike, the owner of the property was kind enough to lend me his motorbike so I could drive to the nearest ATM to draw money. This host goes above and beyond to make sure I had a good stay here. They also have massage area available at the property.

I liked everything! Everything was very good and I would recommend this place to anyone. It is a little it far from the city so my only suggestion is to make sure you can rent / drive a motorbike.

Amazing place you are staying inside a temple!! The rooms are amazing with beautifully designed shower and bathroom. very clean, very friendly staff. And you get a amazing welcome drink on arrival.

Very well kept property, beautiful traditional. Owner and staff were kind, friendly and accommodating. Pool is lovely.

Such a peaceful place, really helps you disconnect from the daily grind and just relax. Ideal for recharging and getting some real rest
