Breakfast was outstanding and yummy. Staff would remember your name and always talk to you, resort is in the perfect quiet part of Kuta but also an easy walk to the action. The room was brand new/just renovated and very comfortable.

The house keeping needed to be better. Some days our rooms weren’t cleaned, items not restocked and we had a dirty bed cover.

Even though there were signs that stated no reserve of sunbeds people still did this. Staff should have enforced this with a smile and reminder to those who blatantly ignored this rule.

We had a family room and it was very spacious and had a very nice and comfy little patio. The room was in a quiet area, which we really enjoyed. We chose the resort for a couple of nights before our departure from Bali by a personal recommendation and the proximity to the airport was just perfect for our early flights. We were offered breakfast boxes for take away (without extra charge) as we would have missed the breakfast. The breakfast buffet is gigantic with offerings for all likings. The pool area is well kept and we enjoyed the daybeds especially. Also loved the gardens, which were looked after all day long by very dedicated staff.

While it's definitely not a big deal, even though the breakfast buffet is enormous I did miss some kind of musli/granola/oats however they'd plenty choice of other things to keep you happy.

Good location & lovely room/pool/Restaurant/staff - have stayed here 5 times over past 5 years, will stay again.

When checking out, the Reception gentleman was not happy that I refused to pay for the bottle of beer that fell out of my fridge & exploded on the tile floor - I reported this immediately to Restaurant when it happened - Reception not very understanding of the situation. Their tiny room fridge was packed full of drink bottles which rattled every time it was cooling & no room for me to put my drinks in. Pulling the door open often made the front row of bottles move forward - suggest better fridge that holds bottles in place so they don’t fall out.

We loved the Balinese style Resort. The rooms are very clean, serviced daily with all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay. The staff here are just wonderful, helpful, accommodating and very friendly, nothing is too much trouble. The beautifully kept gardens and the pool with lots of pool beds is wonderful to spend time and to relax. The resort is very quiet at night, so you will get a good night's sleep. The buffet breakfasts are good, with plenty of choices to feel satisfied. We enjoyed our stay here, we only wished we had stayed longer. We will definitely return here, as Rama Beach has everything we look for when we holiday in Bali. Thankyou for our wonderful stay.

Nothing

We arrived tired after 17 hours of flying and it was lovely that the receptionist was so friendly at check-in & we were offered a refreshing drink. All very welcome as our taxi driver was 15 minutes late at Bali International Airport. The room was clean and spacious, I would have preferred a glass shower screen in the bathroom, a nylon one seems so out of date nowadays but plenty of hot water and everything worked in the bathroom. We had a delicious dinner at the Hotel restaurant and it was wonderful that a very friendly & outgoing waitress saw that we were a bit tired so she suggested a shared local platter which meant we didn't even have to look at the menu! She was so nice & helpful, we look forward to seeing her again the night before we leave Bali. Breakfast was simple but offered enough choices, our favourite waitress was on duty again and looked after us. The Hotel has a good sized pool and a fabulous garden. We are very happy to be returning for another night shortly.

We have stayed at Rama Beach on many occasions, so are very familiar with staff, location and facilities. This makes our stay so much easier. Staff remember you from previous visits and are always happy to see you and engage with you.

Some disruptive guests in the pool area playing their boom box extremely loud and smoking beside other guests lacking consideration of others nearby. The staff are in a difficult situation and are reluctant to "offend" guests and ask them to turn the music down/off. Some guests reserve pool sun lounges all day when not there.

The pool was very nice. Never too busy with kids. Seemed a good mix of ages. Nice little pool bar available of course hotel drinks are always a bit more expensive .lots shade if needed . The air con Was well controlled. Staff were always available as needed with anything at any time. Had housekeeping daily. Everyone was friendly all the time. The location was perfect for family as not too crazy.. The beach was 3min walk near by was more for locals so no one hassling you to sell stuff. 30min walk to kuta beach if wanted. Lovely omelettes made to order. Loved the fish ponds around also. The rooms were fairly easy to navigate but would be interested to see how they are with the renovations . The beds were very comfortable no complaints there. I would definitely be happy stay again if I got a good deal . Liked the little beds outside with mossie nets too.

The private garden view room Was ok but would possible pick a room with a more interesting view next time as we didn't use it much but we were.out a bit so wasn't massive issue . Hash browns every day would have been very welcome for kids. I think they came out once but definitely lots other food available for breakfast options so not massive complaint.

The hotel is good for family stay of a few days. Deep pool- 2.5m, nice restaurant and breakfast. Good rooms. The area of hotel is pleasant. The hotel is walking distance from beach, but it is public beach- not its own area. The water is not at best in that area (Kuta), as not very clean. Thus, if you stay in the hotel, you can enjoy walks along the beach, proximity to Aqua Park and many restaurants.

By mistake they charged my credit card second time on the day of departure, though it was immediately reimbursed. Though, we paid the room rate immediately on arrival......The explanation was that "we tried to call you, but you did not answer?"--- and it was 7am in the morning when all of it was happening. There was no phone call that morning and no one even tried to knock on our door. So, it was a bit strange situation. I hope it is only technical mistake and that was only negative experience in that hotel.

Location - in a more quiet area but within walking distance of Kuta near, eateries, bars & chopping areas. The staff are absolutely wonderful, polite & helpful. The property is very clean (& undergoing renovations but you’d never know!) breakfast each morning is yummy fresh & the pool bar has their own bar menus throughout the day. They have daily activities to teach you about the culture and a fabulous spa on site. Suited for families, singles or couples. We opted for a private villa with our own pool. Competitive rates. We will be back.

Not sure what’s happening at night but the 2 dinners and the room service we had at night were terrible, dry, tasteless and overcooked, otherwise we would’ve scored a 10/10 score!
