Really nice and welcoming and positive host. The kitchen had everything you can imagine, including a good blender. Lovely 3 dogs and 2 cats. Andi gave us very good recommendations for restaurants, swim and snorkeling spots with coral reefs. We even got a room upgrade. Everything is very clean. Nice breakfast with fruits, yummy pancakes and eggs. It's surrounded by nature and animals.

The lights in the room could be brighter. The water in the bathroom (shower and sink) does not smell nice. The stuff starts chatting in the morning, if you want to sleep till 7/8 o'clock it's a bit disturbing.

We stayed at Casa Moabi for 6 nights and we were so glad to pick this spot. The accommodation is the perfect place to unwind and relax as you are immersed in the jungle (quite literally). The hosts Shania and Andy were so chill and very easy to communicate with for all our needs :)

Really minor- but the rental bike tires needed a bit of air/a bit of maintenance on the chains etc.

The staff is always able to assist you and there are big dogs keeping safe the property. It's very quiet and peaceful.

It would be helpful to know before arrive that there is a full equiped kitchen in place able to be used, including microwave and refrigerator. Also, if it's raining the water gets dirty, so it's useful to buy a gallon of water before arriving, if you are a water-drinker.

Casa Moabi is located in a beautiful enviroment, in the edge of the jungle so you can relax and enjoy the nature just sitting at the terace. We even saw a sloth in the garden. The owners, SianNia and Andy were really welcoming and helpful. They are often around talking to the guests, giving ideas usefull tips if needed. When we had cocroaches in te room the next day the managed the problem. Their dogs are adorable. Renting their bike made easier to move around, visit different beaches. The laundry service was also convenient. The beds are comfortable and the common area has good vibes.

Though we like animals it's not so hygenic that cats walk through the whole kitchen and sit on microwave, toaster etc. The common fridge smelled like rotten food and when i asked the cleaning ladies that someone might left some food there (since it's difficult to follow to whom the food belongs) they said that i'm wrong, the fridge doesn't smell anything. It was a bit weird that they told it to me without making any effort to check the products in the fridge. But other than that they were kind to us.

The location was perfect . Off the main road , outside of the main town , walking distance to such a beautiful beach and in a jungle setting . The staff and owners were wonderful and very helpful . Nice big common area with a shared kitchen with a great chilled vibe .This will be my go to place when I return . A+ !

That I was only able to stay one night.

Right after our arrival the garden has turned into an animal highway, it was unbelievable. Sloths, birds, monkeys on the trees, like it was a "show" specifically for us, but no, it was simply the nature and a lucky timing. The hospitality was also great, the shared kitchen is also useful for budget travellers.

Beautiful accommodation! I was volunteering at the Jaguar Rescue Center and had to move during my last week as the hostel there was fully booked. After 4 weeks of dorm life having a room to myself was a dream! There was some construction work on the floor right outside the original single room I'd booked, so the owners upgraded me to another larger room away from it for no extra cost! Really lovely and peaceful location further into the jungle by Punta Uva and less than 10 minute cycle to Jaguar Rescue Center. I always looked forward to coming back after a long day volunteering and relaxing in the swing chairs with the dogs. Thank you Sian Nia and Andy for a really lovely stay! :)

The location is superb, in the middle of lush jungle, but with everything you might need near (beach just across the road, supermarket, restaurants), the owners are wonderful people, and incredibly helpful

so, the place itself is very nice located, its a short walk to the beach, its out of town, but can go within 10 min by tuktuk or taxi, there are many animals in the garden, the garden is very nice, i had a sloth next to my balcony and we did breakfast together, next to each other, the 3 dogs of the house became good friends. the family who runs the place is nice, kind and helpful with everything. in the kitchen, there is also everything you need. the place is clean and has lots of hammocks to chill and relax.

the only thing i would mention is, which is not their fault at all, they have very loud neigbours, they start with noise in the early morning, so, it could be such a nice relaxing place when it would be a little bit more quiet in general. also there is a nice guy working for them, like cleaning the garden, painting wood, the thing is he is doing directly next to you and starts directly next to you and i personally would prefer to have a bit more privacy or less smell form paint under my apartment coming up and if they could do this while you are gone anyway during the day and not while you are there in the early morning would be great..... you know.

Bungalow in the jungle surrounded by wildlife! Owners were lovely, good breakfast, cute dogs. Playa Chiquita about 5minutes walk! We had a lovely stay. The jaguar rescue center is walking distance and worth a visit!

Restaurants a bit far to walk, bike or tuktuk necessary. However you can rent bikes directly at the hotel so it wasn't a problem for us!
