I loved the view; we had a panoramic view of the ocean. The owner is very sweet and accommodating when we had an issue. We loved how everything was close by; Plakias is about a 10 minute drive and there are restaurants right under the hotel (5 minute walk). The WiFi is very fast. My husband and I had 3 devices connected to the WiFi. Breakfast was nice and simple ; they offered eggs, spinach pie, sausage, pastries, fruit, yogurt, sweet, pastries, cereal, and a variety of different coffees to choose from a machine.

Nothing regarding dislike however it’s on a hill so keep in mind when needing to walk around and park.

The rooms are immaculate and nicely furnished with exposed wood beams and french windows, and both the room and our private patio were comfortable with grand views. The hotel has a beautiful forever pool, and bar, and in the morning puts out a fine breakfast spread featuring a broad array of Cretan delicacies, we thought a good value (a charge was incurred for this.) Myrthios is known for several excellent restaurants which did not disappoint, and is an excellent base to exploring the southern Cretan coast around Plakias, which is an easy one mile hike down the hill. Our host Bellisario(sp?) was most helpful in everything including excursion ideas.

The breakfast bar was not available until 8 AM, a little late for us, since it gets light quite early.

I don’t know where to begin in describing what we LOVED about the property. The location in Myrthios is absolutely breathtaking. Our apartment had a wonderful veranda with an unobstructed view of the beach below, in Plakias. We chose to eat on the veranda as we believed this location rivalled any other seaside restaurants in town. The room was spotless and had every amenity that we required. The pool area was absolutely stunning with gorgeous views of the town of Plakias and beaches below. The staff were so friendly and accommodating. We could not have asked for a more fabulous place to stay. This was our first time visiting the Plakias/Myrthios area and we will surely return to Stefanos Village. It has been the highlight of our vacation in Greece. We really enjoyed its proximity to many wonderful beaches and for those who love adventure, it is close to the Kourtaliotiko gorge and waterfall - a definite must- see. In summary, this was certainly an unexpected but very welcomed paradise that is so much more lovely in person.

Beautiful property with stunning views. The pool was wonderful with breathtaking views over the Lybian sea. Our room was very comfortable; Great beds, lovely linen and towels, beautiful views. All the staff we encountered (reception, restaurant & housekeeping) were very friendly and extremely helpful. The breakfast was lovely. Would recommend without any hesitation. We had a very relaxing stay and would certainly go back in a heart beat.

Not a criticism at all; just heads up if anyone is arriving without a car. I don't believe there is a shop around Myrthios village (I could be wrong so best to check with the hotel) so if you need any supermarket supplies, either bring them with you or a taxi could be organised for Plakias which is not far away at all and has plenty of supermarkets etc. The hotel restaurant is not open for lunch or dinner but there are a few restaurants in Myrthios (walking distance). We went to a couple and both were very nice

The location is stunning, the rooms and views surpassed my expectations and are even better in the flesh. It was so peaceful and the building is just stunning. We had the pool to ourselves most days and everything just felt like paradise.

It would’ve been nice to have a toaster in the room and to have been offered pool towels.

The view is amazing!!! The staff is so polite, service minded and do their best for you all the time. The public pool and the jacuzzi on the balcony is also a great thing.

The sofa is hard and not made to sit on if you by any chance would like to watch TV. The rooms need an upgrade. They are at the moment not worth the price, to bad, because the hotel got great potential and is very cool built. No restaurant after 15..? That is also a down point. And when you can't even get bar snack. Then you have failed.

Wow, this hotel is superb... It made my stay in crete unforgettable. It is not expensive yet you can feel the vibes of a boutique luxurious hotel. At some point I felt it is a private hotel for me, the rooms were really amazing, sea view and excellent space especially if you are travelling with family and kids. The pool is amazing, not crowded and most of the time we were alone in the pool which felt really great although lots of guests were in the hotel too. The staff are super amazing and friendly and always welling to help. My plan was to stay there for 2 nights with my family and ended up staying for 5 nights!! It is a place for someone who wants peace, quiet, privacy, good vibes and to relax. Around the hotel there are excellent restaurants and the beach is 7 minutes drive... It is also not that crowded which is important for me. Felt amazing!! Highly recommend and would love to go back there.

Stefanos is a beautiful medium sized modern hotel complex, built in greek style up on the slopes overlooking Plakias Bay, with great views but quit location. Spacious apartment with all what is needed, including seaview, spacious balcony (with private hot spa), very friendly staff, good breakfast buffet and also nice infinity pool (for which it was too cold and windy during our stay, but is awesome).

Proper Greek village. Fabulous views. Felt like a boutique hotel.

Whilst breakfast was good and plentiful, a better variety of hot food would be appreciated. Whilst we were aware of the car parking charge as the car park is pretty rough & spaces are small we felt the charge is unwarranted.

The entire experience was one for the books! The view was superb, the peace offered sublime and the access to beach, pool and jacuzzi ensured we never felt far from the water.. A definite return planned.
