The apartment no. 3 ("the nest") is spacious and modern. It is evident that the interior was designed with a lot of love for detail. The shower is fantastic. The beds were very comfortable and the bathroom was modern and well equipped. Everything was very clean. The tap water is filtered, so no need to buy plastic bottled water all the time. We needed support several times (e.g. unfolding the cabinet bed) and the staff was super helpful and friendly.

We were not able to shut down the fan over the bed completely, it kept turning on automatically, waking us up during the night because of the strong draught. But we were supported very nicely and it was finally solved by disconnecting the wires to the fan. (As there is separate air conditioning, we didn't need the fan.) You can't completely darken the apartment at night.

The room looked exactly like the photographs. Niki the Manager of the hotel was excellent and committed to make our stay the best that it could be. We felt like we were VIPS and that she was our personal concierge. She made our stay very enjoyable and memorable. She was always available to us and did everything possible to make us feel like special guests. She really has a gift for hosting guests, building relationships and delivering an exceptional guest experience. Some highlights of the room: a beautiful shower with a large rain head, the hand soap, shampoo and body wash were from Experience Vanilla Collection, a luxurious mattress and pillows, a loft room with a skylight. Gorgeous art. An Intimate, Simply luxurious, Centrally located, Special place to stay in Brockville a really wonderful relaxing place to spend a few days away from the noise and stress of big-city living. We loved that 48 King West was in the heart of the historic and beautiful downtown of Brockville and that we were close to some sites like the Railway Tunnel and the shores of the St.Lawrence as well as the Brock Trail and many great shops and restaurants.

The room, appointments ,amenities, etc. were top-notch. There was bottled water in the bar fridge as well as a welcome beverage. French press and decaffeinated as well as reglar coffee, loose leaf tea(3types!). Plates, cups, saucers, and bowls, as well as eating utensils. Pretty well, anything you would need. The bed was very comfortable and spacious. The heated floor was a nice surprise.

There are only 3 suggestions that I will make that , for us, would have made the stay better and they all pertain to sleeping. 1 - Switch the blinds on the windows to room darkening blinds. The hotel did provide sleep masks, but I don't feel I should have to wear a sleep mask to be able to sleep at night 2- Correct the issue with the ceiling fan. It made a noise as if it had a wobble in the blades. The hotel provided ear plugs, but again I don't feel I should need to wear them to sleep. 3- Add a door strip to the bottom of the door to reduce the light from the hall shining under the door. Item 1 and 2 to me would be known problems based on the solutions they supplied ( sleep mask and ear plugs), at least it appears that way to me. Item 3 might be a fire Marshall requirement.

It's a luxury suite and it's massive, and the pics don't really show that. , I booked in a hurry and did not read all the items in the unit but I was pleasantly surprised. Heated floors, all kitchen items and utensils. Blinds with remote, huge windows with great view. Ground floor but the way it's designed you feel safe. Does not even look like a hotel. People just walk by and would not even know.

The two door codes and having to walk downstairs for entrance, pain in the butt, no receptionist but I get it, the cost of room is the explanation. Really that's.a stretch.

Unique in its design, well equipped and comfortable. I had a problem with Booking.com where they advertised one price for this specific room and charged me $30 more before taxes and fees after which, I couldn’t cancel. Booking.com refused to refund the difference and wouldn’t cancel the reservation at their expense so I could book another place right away. I contacted the hotel and they totally understood and were very accommodating. I decided to stay and pay the higher price but will NOT use booking.com next time but instead, I’ll call the hotel to see if they can honour the advertised price which they would likely do in such a circumstance if they didn’t have to pay 18% for Booking.com fees.

The hotel’s use of booking.com for advertising was helpful in finding the this site but when Booking.com misrepresents the hotel the hotel has to pay for Booking.com’s mistakes because they are bound by contract to pay them a fee. Booking.com has a powerless customer support team when pricing errors occurs. BUT, THIS HOTEL WAS GREAT.

The Hotel is beautifully decorated. My husband and I had the feeling that we were sleeping in an Art Gallery. Well located, easy check in , check out. A great place to stay for a weekend get away in Thousand Island region. Definitely, we will get back at this hotel again!

I did like it everything, they have some tea available and some coffee ( French press) in the room for your convenience. The only thing I would suggest since is a Hotel Boutique is some pairs of disposable slippers for extra comfort walking on the room.

We were wowed from the second we arrived. The exterior and architecture of the building were magnificent and the hotel centrally located. Our room was beyond our expectations with all the outstanding architectural features and amenities. We loved the high ceilings and tin work in the kitchenette. The king bed was comfy and felt devine. The big round, cozy chair was the perfect spot to curl up and chat about our travels. The free beer and snacks were a nice touch, and we felt very spoiled and at home in our stunning room, The Treasury. Exploring the quaint town of Brockville was easy. We just stepped out of the hotel onto the main street and then hit the 7K waterfront trail. Restaurants and coffee shops were a 5 minute walk at most. We highly recommend a stay here at 48 King West, and we are planning to come back again in the warmer weather.

This hotel in the heart of downtown Brockville is a gem. It use to be a bank in the earlier days. Absolutely beautiful suite with a loft bedroom and two bathrooms. Very comfortable. The kitchenette is well stocked and we were provided with a generous basket of snacks and a complimentary local beer. The view of the downtown from our large window was amazing. Was great to have free parking behind the building as well. Proximity to bars, restaurants, sites and waterfront. The staff were great to deal with through the contactless checkin process prior to booking date. We would stay there again for sure!

Great location, close to everything, modern and very clean. Although there is no Lobby or Front Desk there is someone on site to assist and answer questions who is very helpful and gave us great recommandations for dinning. Bonus that there is a nice size fridge with freezer.

The coffee that was provided and coffee maker is a French Press. Need to update coffee maker. Coffee is very weak even if you use the whole jar that is provided.

We loved this hotel from the moment we walked through the main door until we left. Cozy, cute, eclectic, comfortable, huge suite, great price, excellent location, loved the little extras like coffee, tea, cream, milk, water, beer in the fridge, snacks! Brilliant! We look forward to staying again.

The water pressure was a bit low for my liking but my partner did not have an issue.
