Great location with view of Saint Lawrence river from large balcony with tables—-great for eating a takeout meal or drinks. No direct river access. Within 5-10 kilometers of Highway 401 on Thousand Island Parkway. A 15 minute drive to US border crossing with 5 minute line. Great breakfast with fresh fruit cocktail, as well as homemade eggs & toast. Friendly staff. Comfortable beds and clean rooms. A 5 minute drive to Gananoque with multiple river cruises, restaurants and across the street from bike trail. A half hour to Kingston with art galleries and Ft. Henry.

I cannot recommend this property highly enough...Absolutely superb. Perfectly positioned just off the beautiful Thousand Island Parkway, it is an ideal stopping off point for some R&R on the drive from Ottawa to Toronto. We were fortunate enough to stay in the Tuscany room, which was huge, tastfully furnished with a very large walk-in shower and corner bath The staff were very friendly and helpful, prompting us to change our pre-booked 1 hour boat trip around the islands to depart from Ivy Lea rather than Gananoque, as there is much more to see in that time frame departing from Ivy Lea CDN$7 for a great cooked breakfast was much to cheap!!...Others would charge at least double and it would still be reasonably priced. This was a delightful and restful sojourn between our city hopping tour of Eastern Canada...we wished we had booked to stay a second night

Room was very clean and bed was comfortable. Plenty of space in the "living" area. Appreciated the fridge in the room. A lovely patio off our bedroom, for our own use. Owners are very helpful and friendly. Even brewed us a fresh pot of coffee at 6AM! Breakfast was well worth the modest additional charge, and was prepared for us upon request. Freshly cut fruit cocktail was also appreciated.

While we appreciated the comfortable king sized bed, the room was way too small for it, and both of us ended up with bruised shins trying to get around the bed! It also prevented us from opening the door to the patio properly. View of the river is "peekaboo" obstructed by homes in front of the B&B. Better views from the upstairs room.

This house is beautiful. The rooms are so nice and comfortable. The price can't be beat. It's not directly on the lake but you can see it from the rooftop patio. You can rent bikes. It's very close to Landon bay hiking trail. 5mins drive to town and restaurants. Great breakfast only $7pp. Soap, shampoo and conditioner in shower. Lots of lounge chairs and couches and tables and seating outside and on patio. Shared BBQ to use.

No lake access all private properties. No lake views from room. Standard room has shared fridge. Lots of stairs to 2nd floor, request first floor if mobility issues. Shared balcony. Air conditioning is a stand up unit in the room a bit auckward.

After a very busy and hectic 2 months, we needed a getaway and our in-room spa room exceeded expectations for our 3 day retreat in April. We absorbed the rest, quiet and views of the river. Breakfast was perfectly prepared and we enjoyed freshly brewed coffee, tea, pancakes, sunny-side up eggs, toast and an assortment of other breakfast favourites (all at table service). The host and staff were the most accommodating, friendly and cheerful of any B&B we previously stayed. The blustery weather prevented us from any prolonged stay on the patio... but added to our restful room stay. Soaking in the deep in-room spa bath was thoroughly relaxing. The facility and room photos accurately depict the cleanliness and decor (and met our personal tastes).

The 3 days of windy and rainy weather (other than it let us enjoy our spa room even more)

This place is a 10+++. My husband and I had a lovely room on the second floor, but when the owner, Inder saw how difficult the stairs were for my husband, she immediately gave us a simply gorgeous room on the main floor. She was so kind and helpful and helped us in with our luggage. Whatever we needed, she accommodated us with a smile. In the morning, she offered to bring us breakfast in our room, but we were fine in walking to the Breakfast Room. And what a breakfast it was… Ashe cooked an omelette for me and scrambled eggs for my husband. There was a large number of juices to choose from, coffee and tea, yogurt, toast and jam and a large fluffy pancake. What a wonderful way to start the day. I cannot say enough about the lovely manor we stayed in…more like a castle with some elegant accents and wonderful down-to-earth owners who made us feel like their very special personal guests. Hopefully we’ll get down this way again to enjoy another night with this very special hostess. Thank you so much Inder. The Smiths

Nothing..everything was perfect

Perfect quiet location on the 1000 Island Parkway, good enough breakfast. The room was heated (much appreciated as the weather turned very cold and rainy). There was an HDMI cable that came in handy. The staff were very attentive and helpful. The B&B is steps away from the Landon Bay hiking trails. Very close to Gananoque without actually being in the town itself.

There were no meats or sausages of any kind for breakfast. No kettle or coffeemaker in the room; no mugs or cups or any other dishes. The dishes were, however, provided upon our request by the very kind and caring staff members. The microwave and fridge had the kind of plugs that only allowed one of them to be plugged in at a time. All in all, the room was quite decent, just did not live up to the photos and video on the hotel website.

Gorgeous location right on the lake and the waterfront trail. Really lovely hosts who were super friendly and really flexible in enabling us to hire bikes last minute. Room spacious and very clean. Amazing breakfast - the best we've had on our 2 week trip by a long way.

The only tiny negative is that this room is downstairs and you can hear every step someone on the floor above makes through the ceiling. I'd imagine that there's nothing they can do about this, however!

The facility was not far from Gananoque or from Kingston. Staff were friendly and approachable. We were billeted in the Champagne room which was a suite with a kitchen (not that we used it.) It was very spacious with french doors leading to a balcony.They charged $7 for breakfast which was a steal considering the amount of food and choices of beverages they offered.

Location was fabulous as it was close by to a biking trail and the thousand islands national park. It was easy to find and access to the highway was quick. Breakfast for an additional $7 was worth the price as the food was hot, delicious and had a variety of breakfast items to choose from. The view of the river that’s just steps away from the B&B was beautiful.
