The staff were really helpful and friendly. The bike room facilities were exceptional, including a bike stand, track pump, maps, and Excelent security.

Just a small point and I asume it comes from past experience, but the messages and signs about fines for leaving things dirty or doing damage, and the deposit, is all a bit heavy handed.

This is a well-equipped spacious apartment. Consists of a large living room (kitchen + large table + sofa) separated from a bedroom by a rolling glasswall. There is an airconditioner so the temperature is comfortable during summer and winter. The bathroom is combined with a dressing/storage room which was very convenient. The underground parking was nice and cheap (~8 EUR/day). There is a dedicated room accessible from the garage where you can park your bicycles safely. In the bike-room there are power-sockets and some tools as well as fire/smoke detectors and video surveillance for security. All doors in the building are equipped with card readers and you use a single access card everywhere. There were all kind of kitchen accessories like towels, garbage bags, dishwasher tablets etc on arrival.

The apartment was in great condition, clean and had everything we needed. There were some nearby places to eat, drink and shop.

It was a bit of a walk to the old town of Girona. We checked in late so had to answer questions and provide documentation up front. This was fine and communication was ok but I did find that questions were repeated - I don't know if this was because I was sometimes talking with AI on booking.com and not a human. Rules were quite strict about taking out rubbish etc

The apartment was clean and the check in instructions were on point. The grocery store was down the street and the neighborhood was quiet.

The location was 1.5 miles from city center so we walked everywhere (no complaints about walking) just didn’t feel comfortable staying out after dark knowing we had to walk back. But then we did like that it was a quiet area.

Wonderful place to stay for cycling or routine visit - short or long stay. Like a home away from home - furnished apt with everything you could need. Close to Old Town and close to many restaurants and grocery stores. Cycled North, South, East, West - easy starting point. Could not ask for nicer people at Els Quimics - extraordinarily helpful and caring. Will look to stay again when back in Girona.

Our hostess, Monse, was delightful, ready with responses to all our questions, running the gamut from restaurants, tours and local events, all the while taking time for everyone. She managed to accommodate our late arrival and dealing with transportation problems that arose when our train tickets to Barcelona were cancelled at the last moment. Monse and the other staff addressed our needs from adaptors for our phone chargers and electronics, to laundry needs. In addition to seeing to our practical needs and comfort, she encouraged our efforts to communicate in Spanish, and made us feel really at home, taking time to engage in conversation with fascinating insights, humor and compassion. I will not forget her or our stay at Apartaments Químics.

I like the place very much, but the staff and the charming, kind people, families solo travelers, children and seniors, our trip the authentic personal connection we all crave. The staff and people I count impressed me as among the very best in my travel experiences.

We had a great time staying at this apartment! The staff at reception were super friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with anything we needed. The apartment was really spacious, very clean, and had everything we needed. The location was also perfect – close to shops and just a short walk to the center. We’ll definitely recommend this place to our friends and will 100% come back again!

Great value apartment - clean, modern, comfortable, bright. Good location within walking distance of the centre and with some excellent neighbourhood bars and restaurants and several supermarkets close by. staff very nice. Bike room and laundry facilities excellent for a cycling trip. Kitchen fully equipped with good quality kitchenware. Would stay here again and highly recommend

One small thing - the shower was quite weak

Was able to check in slightly earlier and leave luggage. Whole building and room spotlessly clean. Good location away from the masses with a good supermarket and a few cheap bars/takeaways around the area.

The reception was infrequently staffed so if something went wrong not sure what to do. Quite a bit of noise from apartment complex opposite later in the evening.

Very clean and comfortable, safe underground parking, free laundry facilities. Receptionist was helpful and friendly. 10-15 walk into town or to train station Little supermarket very nearby

Noisy traffic at night. Weirdly unhelpful kitchen equipment e.g a huge saucepan big enough to cook pasta for 20 people but only 2 small cups, a full size oven but no ovenproof dishes, no salt pepper oil in the cupboard. The mattress was comfortable but the pillows were awful! Surprised to be charged tourist tax and a hefty deposit (was refunded in 2 days)!
