Lovely location near beach with super pool and nice staff. Although the restaurant wasn't open we found satisfactory places nearby.

The restaurant wasn't open for anything other than breakfast. Although the price was quoted in US dollars, it was taken in Colones which annoyed me as I had changed to a dollar account and therefore incurred substantial exchange costs. It was made worse by adding 6% to the bill because it was paid by credit card.

Location was perfect, very close to the beach and plenty of restaurants and grocery stores around to pick up whatever is needed. The complimentary breakfast was delicious. The pool was stunning and you could see so many animals just from hanging around, including the cutest little black cat & puppy. Staff was incredibly nice and helpful. Room was very neat and was the perfect spot to relax and hide from the sun when we needed to.

Only unexpected thing was the ant apocalypse in our room. Wasn’t terribly bad but definitely a LOT of ants at night.

Erin was friendly , welcoming and informative, ensuring that we had everything we needed. She checked to make sure that we were comfortable in our accommodation and were enjoying our stay. She and her husband worked hard to keep the hotel and facilities in good order. The atmosphere at the hotel was, relaxing and very enjoyable. The breakfasts were very good, offering a selection of traditional or American style. The food in general was also freshly prepared and tasty.

Amazing place, great amenities, great pool. During the night you can really see all the stars. The host Erin, is a wonderful host. We kind of got stuck in the middle of the night on our way there since we had some issues with the car rental. The host came for the rescue and picked us up in the middle of the night. Will definitely stay here again in the future.

Everything was more or less perfect

The owner was very helpful and friendly. The hotel has a diverse clientele with about equal numbers of North Americans, Europeans and Costa Ricans. That made for a great atmosphere. Extremely restful spot and friendly staff. Though not huge, the pool is larger than many found in more expensive hotels in the area and it is in a great spot.

A good tipical CR breakfast, but would have been better with a choice of the way they cook eggs. I prefer over easy instead of scrambled.

A very limited dinner menu. You used to have pizzas that were very good and many guests other than the hotels guests would come for the pizzas.

Breakfast was Tipico .. very enjoyable and good surroundings. Mahi chef special was delicious.Best of all was the welcome and friendliness of the owner which always makes for a positive feeling. Garden was beautiful

Nice, clean and comfy place in beautiful area with awesome people. We loved the pool, the animals, the food and the relaxed atmosphere. You need a car, but its just a short ride to carrillo or samara beach.

The room was clean, towels clean, everything looks as new. Very nice rooms. The pool clean and all the building was very good

I like it a lot but… it will be great if the install chargers for EVs on the property.

Lovely place frequented by both ticos and tourists. Erin and Drew have done a fantastic job restoring the entire place and they are so welcoming and kind. Sueno is 15 mins out of the heat of Samara and is elevated so always nice for fresh breezes. breaskfast is included. - great value. This is the spot!
