We requested room by the pool and it was perfect ..room pictured above directly behind pool a few steps away Beautiful resort ..delicious strawberry daiquiris..they are strong but not strong tasting so beware lol Howler monkeys in the trees by the pool Beautiful beach across the road and down the stairs Beautiful sunset One of our favorite stays ❤️ Beautiful huge windows spacious room Shower had great pressure large shower

No table or stand in room to place your suitcase so had to place suitcase on floor When I booked on booking. Com I thought I was booking in Samara however it is in port Carillon but it ended up being the most beautiful beach we visited in our 25 days in Costa rica ..when I think back to the CR beaches this one is at the top of my list

Our view was amazing! Pool was beautiful and food was exceptional.

The wifi was bad on our top floor room. We complained several times and were told someone would come to our room and reset the router and that never happened. Also, our room was sparsly furnished. We had no bedside lighting and no closet or dressers. We had to leave our clothes in our luggage. There was a close rod on the bathroom, but it was very low and my dresses bunched on the floor. There was shelves in the bathroom as well, but they were high and our clothes would be messy and would wrinkle if placed there. There was no iron or ironing board available.

the pool and the bar by the pool and the restaurant were great, our room was a hike to get anywhere, good thing we like hiking. although our balcony had a cement wall, the view above it was beautiful.

we did not order the buffet breakfast and were not informed at check-in there were other options for breakfast. we would have preferred a balcony with a view and hammock instead of a heart shaped hot-tub and concrete balcony wall the room would have been more comfortable with a ceiling fan, the air conditioner was too cold most of the time

The staff were fantastic, the rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable. The pool and views were beautiful. Lovely beach

No storage in rooms to hang clothes, have to live out the suitcase!

The pool is just incredible at all times of the day but especially at sunset. Watching the sunset from the water is just amazing! The cabanas by the pool are wonderful. The rooms are spacious and have glass fronts where you can watch nature just happening. Breakfast is great too.

Absolutely nowhere to hang clothes….. no wardrobe or even hooks or rails. it’s such a shame as the rooms and bathrooms are great but this makes it harder to stay for more than a few days

the rooms are big, clean and comfortable

not a beach front hotel as advertised even if the beach is not very far. no beach towel provided , safe is actually a removable box with a key- not very safe- and bread at breakfast is just terrible ( that long life bread with no other choice of bread). The tone of the regulation in the rooms is in big contradiction with the pura vida style ( you smoke- 100usd fine; you take the towels to the beach- 50 USD fine etc.

Very friendly and polite staff, and very clean hotel. The breakfast buffet was nice. The pool is big and has plenty of chairs and a great view of the ocean.

The room is lacking some basic things that would make this stay more pleasant. They give you robes, but there are no robe hooks. You have towels, but there is no towel bar. The room is enormous, but no place to hang clothes.

Property is beautiful and the rooms are spacious! You can walk right down to the beach within 5 min. Staff is very helpful.

We had a room (2 queen beds) for 3 girls and there is no bathroom door. No privacy for showers and the bathroom entrance is right by the front door. A bathroom door would be nice, never been in a hotel without a bathroom door.

beautiful room and bathroom. gorgeous pool overlooking the water and yummy (albeit pricey) cocktails. although pricey cocktails seems to be the norm in CR. restaurant was good for breakfast, lunch and dinner. attentive reception staff.

there is a hill to get down to the rooms from reception. we had no problem but if you are older with mobility issues this may be an issue, although they do have golf carts that the staff uses to move people and luggage around.
