The entire staff is very kind and helpful. They were always looking for our comfort and happiness. Well intentioned people. They supported us solving many needs. The hotel is very clean, with amazing location right in the main road. AC and WiFi works perfectly. Good breakfast in the terrace. We were supposed to stay just one night and we extended more days as we felt so well. Highly recommend 🫶🏾🛺🇱🇰😊

I had an exceptional stay at The Amora Hotel in Arugam Bay. The Rooms were clean, spacious, and equipped with comfortable king-sized beds, efficient air conditioning and reliable hot water facilities. The Wi-Fi speed was excellent, and the friendly staff were always ready to assist. The breakfast was amazing, and the hotel's convenient location near the beach added to the overall enjoyment. Considering the quality of the amenities and service, it was definitely worth the money. highly recommended!

Very nice hotel, with spacious and clean rooms. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Best place to stay in Arugam bay ! We searched for another hotel, because one day it was full here, but couldn’t find anything as good as The Amora for the price. They change the menu of breakfast everyday and it was all tasty😋

Sometimes the water of bathroom is too hot at day time, it takes time to become cooler

Rooms are very clean and big, the king sized bed was made my stay more comfort. The tasty sri lankan breakfast was delicious , delivered with the beautiful view on the resort. The room is also quiet and has the hot water shower facilities. the beach is near on walking distance. I'm eagerly waiting for my next visit to the amora. It is worth for money. I highly recommend this place.

The people here are really good people, thank you very much to the owner and Razlan. They prevented our holiday from turning into a nightmare, and they did this by providing a really clean room with no bugs. The breakfasts were very nice, they added color to our day, especially with the different fresh fruit juices they brought. They are heroes, thank you for everything.

We were a group of 6 people and stayed in 3 Double rooms & 1 Family Room (Gold 1-3 & Platinum 1). Rooms were all on the ground flr, very clean and well maintained with comfortable king size beds. Bathrooms were also clean with instant water heaters in each. The rooms all had air conditioning as well as a ceiling fan. WiFi is also available. Breakfast was super. Simple Sri Lankan fare of string hoppers, parathas, dhal, kiri hodi (coconut milk gravy), kiri malu (fish pieces in coconut milk gravy) and pol sambol (spicy grated fresh coconut with chilli and lime). Eggs were available upon request. Coffee and tea were also available. The owner Dr Razak, his brother Thoufeek and nephew Ajmal together with the rest of the staff were very helpful and accommodating throughout our stay.

Clean comfortable room. We have stayed in a few different places in Arugam Bay and this is our new fav. Stuff is friendly and accommodating. 10/10 Breakfast is very good also.

We stayed here for four nights. The owners and staff exceeded our expectations and we were amazed at all the kindness and excellent service they provided. They organized a Private Safari for us to Kumana National Park and we saw a leopard really close, which requires good luck! Breakfast was excellent and we liked it a lot. All the other food we ate there was also very tasty and good. The room was spacious and clean and quiet and everything we need was there. The king-size bed was comfortable. The air conditioning worked well. Highly recommend this place! Amora hotel - absolutely the best value for money 🫶🏽

Everything was perfect

Location was perfect to walk to the beach & Main Street. Welcome drinks & breakfast were great. Staff really friendly, advised us on travel options and booked a taxi for us.

Quite a lot of rust in the bathroom Staff were great but did get quite a few WhatsApp messages after we left to leave a review. We do try to review as many places as we can but it can be a lot when travelling and staying /eating at so many places. Would be better to just ask once when leaving and leave it at that.
