The hotel itself is really pretty and looks exactly like on the pictures. Rooms are so spacious, modern, cozy also with a beautiful bathroom and a big terrace and you feel at home! You will definitely not get a better room for this price! Wifi and AC worked perfectly. It‘s a short walk away from the beach and restaurants. The owner Nabil is really welcoming and always willing to help and available for questions. We really enjoyed our stay, it was definitely worth the price and would book it again!:)

Fresh, new place, next to the main road, easy access, parking , but just 3 minutes walk from the beach. Amazing spot for short - long term stay. Room was spacious, with modern comfortable furnitures! Staff is very helpful, specially at the check-in day they gave me a lift. I had to leave my previous hotel in the morning, but V Hotel arranged a quick cleaning, so I could check-in here earlier. Was sooo high appreciated (I was travelling with 2 big luggages) ! At the hotel they have a small shop with quality cloths, and drinks. Also I had the best glass of wine on the entire island here!

As an only comment from my side : they should improve on the breakfast. Zanzibar is reach in local fruits and vegetables, maybe use more local ingredients. Also wondering if somebody staying here on longer term (not just for few days), nicer to have more different options for breakfast, not just two. Apart from it everything was excellent!

The staff was the best part of our stay, because they really make you feel like you're part of the family. Especially the manager made us feel so cared for, thank you so much, Paje-mom! Also one of the owners, Nabil, was extremely helpful – we could exchange currency through him with a super good price, arrange a nice taxi, helped us with the ferry tickets etc. Super welcoming and everything ran smoothly! Also, when we urgently needed a doctor, the owner did one phonecall and an excellent doctor was with us in 15 minutes and cured a terrible disease. We miss them and their smiles already!

The breakfast could have been better – you only get two options, sweet or salty pancakes, they tasted okay, but some fresh fruit or sth would have been nice. For some reason the towels started smelling funny immediately when they got wet... but they were changed every day so it wasn't a huge problem.

The V Hotel offered everything that we needed for holidays - friendly and supportive staff, privacy, close location to the astonishing sandy beach, clean room, place to meet new people, and good starting point for trips to Zanzibar (especially East and South coast). We very much enjoyed hotel terrace in the evenings. The hotel is very comfortable and well decorated. We have very nice memories of this small but very cosy hotel.

Breakfasts were more or less the same every day. There could be a bit more of fruits available. Having a chance to order local food or snacks throughout the day would only be a plus. Looking forward to experience those little improvements next time.

Great position, just 5 min walking from the main beach. Good breakfast (it seems they improved from previous reviews). Free parking inside the structure. Big room and bathroom (even if it seems there is no difference between all the hotel rooms despite prices are different). The price was very cheap, consider this structure if you want to save budget (but don’t expect top services).

We spent there 4 nights and they never made up our room (or asked for that). We didn’t ask for it but this should be a not requested service. There is a building under construction just next to the hotel and every morning at 8am we woke up due to workers noises. The room is nice but basic (the room floor is in the same material of the balcony). Different big ants in the bathroom. Also the room is very hot, you are forced to use the air conditioner (that works well). In general it seems a new hotel that was never completed (and some parts of the room are already in not great conditions like the wall or the fan).

V Hotel is a cozy hotel located only a 5 minute walk away from the beautiful Paje beach. The rooms are large, have proper air conditioning and comfortable large beds. It also has amenities like soap, shampoo and a kettle. The swimming pool is not too large, but definitely a nice place to cool down after a day at the beach. For breakfast you have a couple of options (pancakes, english breakfast or fruit platter) and coffee, tea and a juice. The staff is awesome, everyone is super nice and ready to help you if necessary.

There are two minor things I can think of. The hotel doesn’t have a generator. The power was shut off a few times (as happens sometimes in Zanzibar) and therefore we didn’t have electricity at some times of the day. This didn’t really bother us as it usually didn’t take that long before the power was back on. There is a construction side on the property next to Hotel V. Although there has been no construction there for a few years it does take away a bit of the relaxing ambiance at the hotel.

A modern and quiet place, 3 min away from the beach. Staff and owner are very polite and supportive peoples. There is a big supermarket near by. Paje center is like 5min away walking. Wifi was very good for remote work. Very clean an confortable bed, a very large room, a very large bathroom.

for me the location of the hotel was ideal: 5 minutes to the beach and also around 5 minutes to the center of Paje. rooms are modern, clean, comfortable. Also a bog thanks to the owner for a very early check in and also a very late check out. This is not a rulle, I think we were lucky, but for ne this did not happend before without extra payment and this was a great customer experience

maybe a tv in the room will be a plus, but the wifi was very good so… breakfast has good and tasty options, but the service is a little bit slow. nevertheless, everything is done with a big smile on the face, and you have to get in the Pole Pole mood to real feel Zanzibar:)

Everything was exactly like in the pictures, the rooms were very big, the vibe was very good, and the people taking care of the hotel were very polite and helpful. A big thank you to Nabil, the owner, who is very kind and helped me with every situation I encountered before and during my stay. If I would travel again to Paje I would choose V Hotel again.

A hairdryer would be desirable and also a small refrigerator in the room would be a big plus. The electricity grid sometimes fails but this is not a problem caused by V Hotel but an infrastructure problem affecting all Paje ...
